How do you only have 25 subs??? You deserve a lot more than that! Great video, focused on what actually matters (parallax, pixel density) instead of the usual spec listing. Keen to see more reviews!
Really good to see a review showing the screen zoomed in! I was thinking the Cintiq 24 Pro is the only option as a professional illustrator but it's too expensive under current circumstances so I am going to give this 22 Plus a try. I prefer it over the Huion 24 Pro as the colour accuracy and brightness are so much better. Screen looks really good for what it is!
Corey my guy, i didnt realize how underrated you are, i thought you were a professional review channel, with just 33 subscribers(currently) i am extremely impressed with your quality of the video! 😁
I recently started to watch some reviews on the tablet, and it looks really nice! I currently own an iPad 7th generation (10,2”). Do you think it could make my drawing experience better, and maybe even improve my arts if I get this tablet? And can you connect your iPad with it?
No sure if you still use your Kamvas 22 Plus but would you ever consider sharing your colour calibration settings? I just recently purcahsed one and can never quite get the colour accuracy between it and my computer / other screens -- any info would help but totally understand if not!! Love the vid!
I don’t have any currently, but, I do see the value in doing so! I like it for sketching and 3D sculpting... currently lol. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you!
The drawing on screen sound output is significant helping me to understand how fluently natural feels it would be drawing on this pen tablet. Like iPad with glass smooth surface. The feedback is a big minus until I got a paper like texture to draw on. The instant mood to draw on a texture surface is immediate boost up. I don’t fancy the hitting glass tiny sound for every times when the pen nibs contacts with the texture screen. Blessing the ‘sand sound’. This video detail you recorded close up is going to explain how wonderful this pen tablet screen arrived as it is ready for fun once out of the box.
Try a small size wacom intuos pro. It would have touch and wireless and comes with the pro pen 2. Your back will thank me! I have a large size and a kamvas pro 16. I use the XP pen ac19 shortcut remote with the kamvas.
why the color look so different compare to your monitor? is huion not calibrated out of the box? would be nice to have video of it's color calibration comparison.
konakon TV The colors look amazing out of the box. Also, my monitor is a 4K monitor. Neither of them however are calibrated but they look great in person. It could be calibrated further, but for what I do, it’s great as is currently.

Corey Crowe it’s my first time giving a non Wacom product a try and I’m loving it. Hopefully in the next year or two they do at least a 2k version of this screen in the 24in model
Corey Crowe yeah I was worried about it but the most important thing for me is accuracy and contrast because it drives me absolutely nuts seeing a diff image on the main monitor like shadow details being off etc. and this is really the only display under 2k with this good if a screen
Thank you for confirming this (in this comment and also featuring in the video) - I am practically sold on this product, but was concerned about the 1080p. This pen display sounds like a sweetheart deal! (Just waiting for Black Friday to arrive.) :)
👋 The performance in Adobe Photoshop is excellent. No jitter/lag. Well, almost “no” it’s like 95% there. Almost as good as that on an iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil, if you’ve played with that before. I think a lot of that lag/jitter will come from your PC, not the tablet itself. It’s an excellent product and I highly recommend it for everyone that’s not a “professional” user, and maybe even some professional folk too!
It depends on your budget, really. However, the colors and contrast ratio on the Huion 22 Plus are superior to the Cintiq 22. The pen weight and feel, I think, is where Wacom products shine. They have the best feel in the industry. That said, this new Huion pen does feel great 👍
the only bad thing about this monitor is its usb-c port and the cable. the cable is quite thick and sturdy and puts ALOT of force on that tiny usb-c port. it will be the first thing to break for many people who buy this monitor. never reach around your monitor and accidentally hit the cable , that could be instant death ! i fixed it with a little plastic sheet and doublesided stickey tape on each side to fix the cable in place. and i used a more flexible less sturdy cable , the original one is soo big. but thats not a good solution either , im searching for a magnetic usb-c cable which supports the full usb-c 3.1 standard(which this monitor needs) , but the few available on amazon are all a bit too thick.
wow thx alot,i wonder how this huion felt ?since people said in reddit, they had an issue with pen thaf easly break.. other questions is : what hdmi splitter u got?i also wanna buy 27 inch 1440p in the future, but my laptop is only had 1 hdmi port..so is that make ur huion lagging when u working with heavy task?

that is not kamvas 22 pro, it is plus, the camvas 22 pro has 20 buttons "speed keys" as well as an IPS monitor, which is the best for designers since the cells or leds that make up the screen are hardly noticeable. there are 3 tablets kamvas 22 kamvas 22 plus kamvas 22 pro read the box, there it does not say pro you have a medium gamma, me too
thanx for this review .. maybe you could do some sketches using photoshop ? IM on the fence trying to figure out if grab one of this huion 22 plus or go for a huakom :L .. I simply don;t know if it worth to keep saving for the cintiq 24 pro model .. too expensive .. if its possible can you tell since u mentioned you used wacom products .. how you feel the pen aside of being light the strokes .. the variation between thin and thick is it jumpy or has that buttery smooth like wacom on his pro models ? ... and if u use it with opacity pressure how the gradation feel ? is it comparabe to wacom ? Im coming from a cintiq companion 2 and I also have an ipad pro 12.9 .. never tried a huion or a xp pen .. I know its a subjective question but .. still .. some people say it feels ( huion ) like wacom pro pen 1 same pen that has the cintiq 27 qhd (or cintiq companion ) I really want to thank you for the review .. for some of us who can't test this things on a store .. and we live faar away (makes returning a purchaced product a pain in the A%#@%^s) xD .. its really highly appreciated :)
as a foot note .. they (huion) has this 24inch 1440p model but I never understood their way how they think/plan a roadmap their 24'' 1440p model supposedly is the best the cherry of the pie ... is more expensive and bla bla ... but for all reviews I saw its contrast is inferior and the lamiantion of the screen is worst/thicker and this your model the kamvas 22 pro plus .. like wtf huion ! why ?? hope wish they made a new 24 inch model with this same quantum dot technology and this superb lamination /bounded screen or whatever they call it .. :P
The pen initially feels on the lighter side, but it becomes very “normal” within five minutes of using it. The one nib budges ever so slightly so it doesn’t feel cheap by any means and it gives a nice feel as its being pressed onto the tablet. The opacity with pen pressure is identical to what you’d expect, that doesn’t feel odd at all. Likely attributed to the Pro Pen that comes with this Huion 22 Plus!
