The bike is Helkama Jopo that is very popular in Finland. It is available in most colours but I am not sure if they have matte gray or camo coloured bikes available. Yet…😂
Good to see some legacy f-18 hornets still in service , Back in my US Navy days i was stationed in the very first f-18 squadron on the east coast 1984/1988 VFA-131 Wildcats out of NAS Cecil Field fla. Was a aviation ordnanceman weapons loader on this aircraft !
Love it, that little boy in all of us guys, always wanted to be a pilot, or a firefighter or an astronaut,.etc,we all loved riding our bikes, this pilot riding his bike up to his amazing aircraft 🙏💯😆💯
@@2010kb1 No, it's not the refueling probe. The F/A-18 retractable refueling probe is on the starboard side. This 'spotlight' thing is on the port side. The Canadian, Finnish, Kuwaiti, Swiss Hornets also have this port side 'spotlight'. But the US, Malaysian, Spanish and Australian Hornets do not have it.
It's the optional identification light for nighttime intercepts. It's quite effective, the Finnish Air Force have published at least one photo where the light was illuminating a Russian Su-27 over the Baltic Sea in pitch darkness and you could easily see the tail numbers, armament etc. Apparently the output is 100 000 candela.
Must be NATO jets. The yellow bike is comical. Would have made it even better if the bike a one of those bells on the handlebars. Pushing it in twice for a ding-a-ling sound would have put it over the top. STILL GREAT!!!
What's with everyone riding around on ladies bikes? You sort of feel like with the hardware they are working with you'd see them driving up in black Ford rodeos with tinted windows. But if they are going to ride bikes, orange ladies bikes with baskets is just a bit of a pass take, isn't it?
What a boring looking fleet of Hornets. They need more lettering. 'Fighter Squadron 11' or 'Fighter Squadron 31' should be added. 'Finnish Air Force' should be added. The blue and white roundel is small and boring. Make it larger. HN-417 and HN-452 - the HN designates it as a HorNet and the 3 digit number is a serial #.
Give this pilot a medal for the most original arrival ever. This dude has sense of humor!!
But next time, please arrive on a badass Hutch bmx from the eighties. Nothing more legit than that!!
There are bicycles everywhere in the video, it seems like it's the norm there rather than anything specific to this guy.
Riding a yellow bicycle to the plane has me in absolute fits
And looks like a RETRO GRIFTER or CHOPPER😂😂😂😂

This bike is epic. Especially with that shopping basket on the handlebars. Perfect place for a kneeboard, a second breakfast, a thermos of tea.😀
OMG - the bike intro is funny, but the F-18 is a BEAST...!!!!
Gorgeous single seaters. And those clean canopies!

If you ain't Ordnance, you ain't shit! Go Navy!
The bike with ape hanger handlebars is legit!

I can watch this stuff ALL Day ! 🏁🏁
Bike power then BEAST POWER ……. NICE
Some proper cyclic ops at the start there ;)
In my next life I will be flying the F-18 Hornet, no doubt about that! 🙂
"It's all in a day's work for Bicycle Repairman..."🎸✈️😀🖖
No different from student riding bicycle to school 😂😂❤❤
This legacy Hornet is way more sexier than the Super Hornet
Agree 100%!
Most better arrival in the history of military aviation !🤣🤣🤣
Excellent 👌😅 en vélo jusqu'à l' avion...
Good Job sir!
Puts biking to work in a different perspective.
Plottwist: Kimi Raikonnen is the pilot. He's the one in the flightsuit #stigstyle
Beautiful vidéo ,nice work
Very very nice video
The bike is HELKAMA JOPO
At 3:59, what is the huge spotlight thing on the side of the nose??
Refueling probe.

It's an optional bike rack for the next location...they may be out of stock
@@jamesf.ryaniii7918at least here in Finland it is a good option since it’s very dark on some parts of the year.

The bike is also for him to ride back on after the flight - a privilege of rank. Every one else has to walk.
The girl bike makes me want to have a glass of wine
Top Secret military bike with stealh technology
Different airplanes. Sometimes there are A2A on the rails, sometimes rails are empty
Flying a multi million dollar jet...rides in on $125.00 Schwinn..straight up thug life! 🤘
I think he forgot to lock his bike, or did he?
The bike's pre-ride tour is not ok, the rear tire is flat 😁

Well clearly you are not Finnish.. 😁
I like them, they look clean, crisp, efficient, and well maintained. Not everything needs to be flashy.
