What a great video for beginners Mike, I just like to jam along to music from all decades, and also struggle with the fills, what to do and where to use them. This is brilliant thanks.

This is a great video Mike. Like Emma, I often freeze when it comes to the drum fills, especially when someone is watching(...!) Also, what you said about the sixteenth note fills. I sometimes struggle with the energy to get around the drums with sixteenth notes, but as you know I've been practicing the Stick Control until my arms fall off. Hopefully I will improve soon! Thanks Mike.

No one cares about your linear fill apart from other drummers. Best advice on RUclips!

Mike your toms sound great, is it bcos they are miced up? Do you tune them to a specific note? I have 3 and having a bit of trouble tuning x

Hi Maggie, thanks for watching! This is my electronic kit, so the sounds are coming directly from the sound module. On my acoustic kit, no I don't usually tune the toms to a specific note, just tune them evenly across the drum across the drum and let them sing out naturally. Some drum tuning videos are on the list for you!
