Every time I watch a new tutorial, I'm amased by how powerful Lumenzia is. Being able to use it to its full potential is already good but having made it is actually the most impressive part.

Superb video as always with some very useful tips around refining masks using Gamma or color in a way I hadn't previously appreciated. Thanks!

Have many photos of this temple. Its a beautiful place to visit. Way up north in Thailand. Beautiful country.

Great video. I have struggled to get a luminosity selection that will do what I need thinking that a single selection needs to address the entire image. It should have dawned on me before: Use multiple selections and use only the part of each selection that gets you closer to where you want to be. Thanks for helping me to see the obvious.

Made that mistake many times before I started trying it in smaller steps.

Greg, as always, your videos are so informative. Since taking your Lumenzia Bootcamp I use Lumenzia for almost every photo I edit. I am adding a link on my desktop to this video so I can really absorb all the information. I am frequently faced with circumstances similar to the conditions in this photo and your editing information will be invaluable. Thank you again Greg.

Hey Otter, hope you’re doing well! That’s great to hear. Breaking down big problems to smaller steps is key for these tough images.

This is great. I wish I could master how to use multiple levels of group masks in groups. It seems clear enough when you do it but very confusing when I try to actually do it on my own image. It seems to require some level of intuition to predict what is required that I haven't grasped as yet.

It is exactly like painting black on a mask, other than you can undo it.
So just think of it as a way to use a luminosity masks only where you need it.

Great video, Greg. Sky separation is my Achilles' heel, especially getting a nice, clean edge without a nasty halo. Lumenzia and your videos have definitely helped!

Wow, excellent. Thanks again for sharing your techniques. Question. What do you do for lighting in your photo studio? I'm wanting to set up a dedicated room for photography stuff and I know proper lighting plays an important roll. Thanks.

I don’t short portraits anymore. But I’ve done a ton of it. No simple answer, really depends on what you’re shooting, your space, how much you take the gear out, budget, etc.
Best way is to take some classes and shoot with other people. The more people you shoot with, the more ideas you’ll get. I’d do that for a bit before buying anything, I’ve wasted a lot of money on the wrong gear over the years (including things that are perfect for other photogs, just not me).

Hi Greg, thanks for answering. I guess my question was confusing. I just do landscape and nature photography. I was just wondering if your work environment is a dark room, well lighted or mostly like ambient light.
