This prices of tiles is old price... I bought 75" by 75" Spanish at #13k per carton. 80" by 80" Italian at #12k. November 2021. Thanks #Flo. Great content. I've been using these videos to checkmate what I've spent so far on my project. I noticed that the price of a building is hinged on the taste of finishing. We Took time to get the tiles to avoid price hikes.

Please watch again from time 👉13:23 because I explained the types of tiles you can use in the high traffic areas. The most durable tiles are made in Spain or Italy followed by Chinese tiles. There are also some companies in Nigeria that make good tiles but it varies from design to design. Your tiler will help you pick good ones. That's why your tiler must go to the market with you.

I prefer the wood looking tiles, to my view flo, is always good to unify the tiles in a house, with exception of birth room and kitchen, in that way you have a more soft design and architectural

plank tiles 300x900 (the one on the floor ) is the best especially when you install / lay them with 30% or 1/3 offset

Number of cartons depends on the space to be covered. Your tiler will take the measurements of your house and tell you how many cartons of each tile to buy. All houses are not the same size.

White bathroom tiles are difficult to maintain in Nigeria. I've noticed some hotels use plain black or brown
Not sure why you say it's difficult to maintain in Nigeria specifically. It's just to clean the tiles regularly like in every other country, no? I don’t think I can shower in a hotel room with black wall tiles ooo. Especially as black tiles are like mirrors and I can see my reflection. 😂😂😂 And God knows how many years of dirt are on those tiles.
When there's water, believe me is not difficult at all. I even prefare white tiles in naija than in Europe.We have people to maintain them for u if u can afford it. Though for me I clean my bathroom myself is not about money.I love to clean myself just personal.😄

I like the wood finish tiles. I don’t know why vinyl flooring are not use in Nigeria. The new models are ultra durable and you can get ones that looks like wood.
Yes, most of the vinyl floors I've seen have very nice life-like wood design. I have seen people use it in Nigeria but it's still relatively new. So it will take time for people to know about it and start using it. I am happy to read that they are durable because I've seen videos of the installation and based on how light they looked, I was wondering how they will take to wear and tear and impact of say stilettos, furniture being dragged on them, curious kids trying to see what's underneath etc.

Sister Flo, which one is cheaper in Nigeria epoxy resin floor or tiles? I know that epoxy resin last longer...
I've never made enquiries for epoxy in Nigeria because it's not something I'm interested in. It's too shiny and "busy" for me. The plain ones are best for offices rather than homes.
But is it that common in Nigeria yet? I know it's just a matter of time before we start seeing it everywhere but for now, I haven't seen it much. I see people going for those very glossy mirror-like tiles.

They call it China rustic just because it's matte but they don't have a name for the actual design. You'll need to show them a photo or this video if you want to buy that specific design.
