    Wow! Glad to see people molding window hoods. This used to be my handwork from 2006 after secondary school till I got admitted to UNN and still continued during long vacation at the end of each section. I used this to train myself in school and also finance my travel fees out of naija after NYSC. God bless every diligent hustler.

      @FloFinance  3 года назад

      When it comes to aluminium windows, Nigerian materials are stronger and more durable. They are slightly more expensive but they are the better choice. For where to buy them, they bought all the frames and mosquito nets from Onitsha. The glass and rubber from our hometown. I don't know which market in Onitsha because the guy and my brother-in-law went to the market for that. I guess you could hear me telling one his boys that I do not know anything about the windows.

    Flo, the major things that affect water pressure is the location of the water reservoir (tank) and the positioning of the pump, the type of pump (submersible or not), and the rating of the pump. A competent engineer can accurately predict your water pressure even before actual construction. You might be trying to save cost, but in the end you may not get the desired operation.

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 года назад

      We like titles in Nigeria shaa. These guys are skilled enough for this simple plumbing system. Pumps? There’s no borehole here yet. We filled the tanks for the testing. The water goes from the reservoir tanks to the house. And unless you are trying to beef up the pressure from the tank to the house with say a 0.5 HP pump, pumps do not have anything to do with the pressure inside the house. It’s all in the piping work. From how dry the areas were, they did not open up everywhere when they first "tested" for pressure. So I think it’s airlock for the first two bathrooms. If you saw the last ones we tested, the pressure is fine.

    • @uchennanwosu4625
      @uchennanwosu4625 3 года назад

      @@FloFinance I am not in Nigeria, and I am not into titles either. I didn't know the scenario. A pump can be used whenever there's need to augment the flow of a fluid. If you are satisfied with the pressure great. If the tank is kept relatively full all the time, then you might have sufficient potential energy based on the height of your tank to have decent pressure.

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 года назад +1

      They are all casement windows that's the one you push out. For best ventilation especially in hot Nigeria, casement windows are the best. With the sliding ones, one side is always blocked hence only one side open at a time. For many years I have not seen anyone building with sliding windows.

    Do you have any idea of the cost of borehole in the east?

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 года назад +1

      When it comes to boreholes, East is too vast an area to get a good quote. The price depends on the water table in a particular area. The topography of Anambra State alone varies so much that the price varies so much from one village, not town o, from one village to another. In some places in Anambra State you can't even get water at all for example in my hometown Agulu, in my Dad's compound, yiu can't get water no matter how much you dig but you can get water in my maternal grandma's village. In Umunze the last time we asked which was a long time ago they said 900K. The price may be low in another place depending on the depth of water in that area.
      So to get the best price, ask those who have successfully dug boreholes around the area you want to dig the borehole.

      Thanks so much for this honest reply. Indeed topography plays a very vital role in prospecting for water.

    Flo which company makes better pure water? In case of someone coming from abroad

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 года назад

      Pure water companies serve a small area so it depends on your area. Ask the people that live there for the best pure water in the area. Usually good pure water should not have taste nor smell.

    Is the window hood moulded with just normal cement alone or it has its own type of cement? 🤔just curious

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 года назад +2

      It's normal cement but the cement is way more than sand in the mixture. And the consistency of the mix is very light. It's made the same way as the pillars in the following video: ruclips.net/video/Ne68lu8erGo/видео.html
