Great vid Misha! Finding flood gold can be a lot of fun. Especially when the really big floods that come along every 25 years or so redistribute massive amounts of material. Leaving new layers of deposits higher up on the gravel bars and river banks around the inside bends. Usually gives us new prospectors several years of good digging.
G'Day Misha, It's good to see how far you've come in 6 months. Your videos are way better now dude. You're now helping others in finding gold bearing areas in rivers...Lilly (The Manager) is getting bigger and cuter...Give her a scratch behind her ear for me. Great that you're now getting sponsors and referring watchers to them. You've grown this channel with every video. Might want to start wearing neoprene gloves to protect your hands from sharp rocks and the cold...It's summer soon here in Australia, so shorts and t-shirts will be out of the drawers. Remember to follow the line of big rocks to where gold will start dropping out to find the gold. Looking forward to the next six months. Great to see the channel growing and growing...RUclips Bronze button will come shortly if you keep releasing great vids...maybe have your codes or links on the screen when you mention them. Have a weigh-in at the end of each video no matter how small the amount. Keep up the great work...and thankyou for being you...some people try to copy others but you're keeping things simple and easy to understand. Maybe have a Patreon channel where you release vids early...it'll keep gas in your tank and help you to update your gear. I'm glad I found your channel when you were just starting out. Cheers!
Absolutely loved the video Misha, GREAT JOB! ⛏️🤠👍 Very informative and My great nephew's and nieces enjoyed every moment, their little hearts just thumping for the next time they get to go out with Uncle, to play in the dirt and the creek. It always helps immensely to have someone else explain how it is all done and show how that, more often than not, it is all trial and error in finding the gold... But so much fun getting there! Again; GREAT JOB! ✨⛏️🤠👍✨
It’s a good day when I find a 30 min Misha video!!! PS. I have NO gold bearing rivers where I live (just West of Houston). It’s all silt around here. I have to drive about 4 hours into the “Hill Country” to find bedrock.
@ I can find gold up in the Frío River, but nothing where we live. We live on silt that has been building up for 40 to 50 million years. PS. My wife laughs every time you say “and my girlfriend”, but don’t give her any name (“not even a camera name”). Lol
Also a really hot place to get nice amounts of gold is where the yuba flows into the feather right in marysville also below 5th street bridge since they added the new bridge there was lots of black sand. Also what no one talks about is the BLACK DIAMOND IN THE FEATHER RIVE IN Oroville!!
About 8 to 10 years ago, I used to go out tonight‘s ferry with the gold hog gold pan. It’s like a mini sluice box and gold pan all in one and I would pull out between two and three day just right there off the trail where it turns left at the end of the main big trail.
Your moving on up man good job I kind of figured the Yuba River Was one of those three Cool you found some gold Went on the mountain Yesterday took a new guy From Sweden Got skunked On the mountain came back down To one of my spots And got back on the gold So it wasn't a total loss
Any part of the Auburn recreation area is hands and pans only! You have to be upstream of the end of the Pennyweight trail before you can sluice. It's a big fine if you are caught by a ranger including the loss of your equipment.
Dude, great video! Thanks. I'm in southern New Mexico and I usually dry wash and detect. Wanna try some spots in Cali that you talked about. I'm from Long Beach, but never got up north to prospect yet.
Your best crevice will be crossing the river (horizontal) not following or (parallel). If the crevice goes the same direction as the river it becomes what the old timers called a race.
I remember the first time I went panning was the bear. About two years ago. I found a flake about as big as the one you just found. Because I didn't know how to properly use my snuffer, I lost the damn thing. 😢
What ever happened to that very first place you went and found gold? You mentioned people said there was no gold in that river/creek. Is it something you followed up on and in some of these videos? I thought you found pretty good gold there...
If you decide to go to the feather river DO NOT AND BE AWARE OF THIS WARNING!!! If you go to the oroville dam you will be arrested for taking gold out of the river..there were many construction employees fired because of this… also be extremely attentive to rattlesnakes as well .. ALSO THE YUBA RIVER DO BE VERY CAREFUL AT PARKS BAR BRIDGE. If you’re thinking of camping in your car DO NOT!!! Pay the money and go to the camping place. Atleast there there’s people and it’s safe.
Come on out to the Trinity River if you want to find gold in your first pan. Send me a message if ya ever get up this way. I have 120 acres of claims in Trinity County. ⛏️🇺🇸💪😎✌️
i teach gold minig and panning 10 /13 sec pans to cons full pan cons 30 sec 60 /100 buckets per hr classified and panned 1,000 plus flakes per hr average in work out ground no b s just goldmining stopprospecting go mining send your girlfriend get her to 20 sec pans 60 buckets per hr first hr
The highest yielding parts of the rivers are mostly claimed up but there is a huge amount of gold bearing rivers that's not claimed. Everyone should still check claim status before going to a new spot
Great job all around fam. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Thanks so much

Thanks man! I'm starting to notice the flood layer!

@@dartmart9263 haha bonus video coming soon
Iv been prospecting about ten years myself. Been all over NorCal and found great gold. It's there.
Definitely!
I've got some pretty good info if you are interested.
@nickjohnsonjohnson7143 definitely man! I'm always interested in learning new info!
Colfax where American and bear almost connect. Penny trail. Cross the bridge.
@nickjohnsonjohnson7143 definitely the old river runs through both!
Just found your channel, so I thought I would subscribe. No matter how much I think I know about finding gold you can always learn something new👍
Haha indeed! Tysm for subscribing!

Good day to you and God bless you Misha!
Love your personal manager there, absolutely wonderful at her job!🤠⛏️
Hahah she's the best
Looks like a great day
Sure was!
Great informative video Misha. Keep up the great work.
Thanks man I appreciate it!
Ive been to all 3 of the rivers that you mention. Found gold in all three. Do your research and obay the ruels. Good luck!

That's awesome
I hit all three of these spots this year. Bear was by far the most giving, but still I only find the teensiest amounts at a time anywhere I find to go
You will have to come with me next subscribers dig i do
I have got to visit CA one day and visit these rivers 💪🏽
Definitely worth it
Nice job keep on trucking brother the more you mine the better you get.
Tysm man!
I live in SoCal but love your content. Great video!!!!
Tysm man! Just moved to norcal 2 weeks ago! Used to live in socal and drive 8 hours a day to make these!

That's the way to do it! It's the only way to know where the gold truly is! You have to explore!
Nice gold there ⛏️🇺🇸💪😎✌️

Indeed. Great gold at auburn recreational area!
Thanks..new sub. Not new to prospecting, and moving back to AZ soon, and nice to know where to go when I finally get to prospect 49er territory.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
Gonna head back up there in an hour 🤞
Gl man I'm on my way aswell to hit the river
Dude, great video! Thanks. I'm in southern New Mexico and I usually dry wash and detect. Wanna try some spots in Cali that you talked about. I'm from Long Beach, but never got up north to prospect yet.
North is the way to go. Just moved here i was socal/central and I've found 10× more gold in the northern California rivers
Your best crevice will be crossing the river (horizontal) not following or (parallel). If the crevice goes the same direction as the river it becomes what the old timers called a race.
Interesting thanks for the info
@@MishaBoylan when the crevice crosses the river it is nature's sluice box, just like a ruffle.
@@MishaBoylan think of the riffles in your sluice and how much better it works than if the riffles go the with the water. ⛏️🇺🇸💪😎✌️
Ive been prospecting almost 2 years and you've found 10 times more gold than me.
Lots of reasurch
I remember the first time I went panning was the bear. About two years ago. I found a flake about as big as the one you just found. Because I didn't know how to properly use my snuffer, I lost the damn thing. 😢
Trust me, I lose a lot of good gold🤣😅
@MishaBoylan that's not good!
@danielhughes9556 I've lost some nice pieces
fish on is what its like
Haha
also how to run 60 + buckets fist hr then howto move 2 man 200/ buckets 2 men 200 buckets pr hr no b s just gold mining

I actually recently moved. But yes there is decent gold just can't work inside the river
i want you to think in terms of slow is 1 bucket per minute aversgeis 4 buckets per min but im 80bet you are faster
brt ican get you to 12/15 sec pan in first hr kee to 40 micron

Misha... I took the time to share some important info for you and everyone else about prospecting in the ASRA. Not here now. Deleted? Why? Randy :(
Asra? I don't delete comments. I'm sorry if youtube deleted anything, especially information!

Those rivers are all claimed up. So, hopefully, you're making sure that there aren't any claims where you're working.
There's plenty of unclaimed land!
@MishaBoylan Not according to the BLM MLRS
@TheWasatchGearReview make sure all claims are still active but depending on fork of each river
The highest yielding parts of the rivers are mostly claimed up but there is a huge amount of gold bearing rivers that's not claimed. Everyone should still check claim status before going to a new spot
@MountaineerMatt definitely thanks matt!
