Hello Dr. Raynor. Can you please suggest excercises to close the knee (movement opposite extension) ? My knee doesn't go more than 90/95 degree angle. I'm an amputee below the knee. Thank you Dr. Rainer! Love your YT channel!! ❤

Had TKR about 15 days ago. Physical therapist measured extension at 0 and flexion is 110. I kept pressing my leg down and also let it hang over the bed. I’m a above-amputee but very mobile, I have a sports wheelchair chair and still drive. I’ll be 63 in August

Hey Dr. Chris, I am 3 weeks post ACL surgery & my surgeon said my knee extension is good( 0 degrees) and my flexion is 90 degrees, should I still be doing passive weight extensions or just keep doing my normal knee extension ?

I would do passive knee extension exercises until you knee extension exactly matches what it is on the other side. Best way to test this is to lie on a bed belly down and hang your legs off the edge from the knees down. If the height of your heels matches then you have symmetrical extension. If they are not equal, you have more work to do.
