    _Mission:_ Devil's Playground, the mission where cliffwalking/jumping is introduced, and then ignored for the rest of the game.
    _Units:_ Raptorling, Hunter Baneling, Wrathwalker, and the Reaper.
    Let them finally put their skills to use, and also take the Wrathwalker away from Grant.

      This was my thinking too.
      Can the Wrathwalker hit air, I never got legacy and forget.
      But still. It’s the cliffwalking mission. lets get all the cliffwalkers, some of which are legitimately good, out of the pool. Let Grant have fun even though it means giving him an easy mission.
      Even if it means we might not get to give him the slow boys on trains

    Grant on the mindhawk gauntlet - extremely well micro'd efficicient plays. Three part nobuild mission played at once in 10 minutes.
    Grant on community elimination - barely manages to escort the van with it being fully cloaked.

    Monlyth, Smash and Grab.
    Composition: Ultralisk, Aberration, Infestor, and Viper.
    Two Zerg factions race for the artifact. Your composition is set to stay true to the mission name: "Smash" (ultralisks and aberrations), and "Grab"(infestors and vipers).
    I won't want you to go to Char earlier because that means fewer missions which means fewer opportunities to eliminate units.

      I would upvote this, but I think we shouldn't go to Smash and Grab. Another comment below pointed out that if we do, Grant gets to do Trains with units of his choice. If we go to Devil's Playground, Grant has to pick between Trains and Welcome to the Jungle, and we get to give him bad units for the other one.

    I think it would be cool to cut down on the total number of revive charges but then grant you a new revive charge if you complete all the bonus objectives in a mission

    Everyone, I wouldn't go to Smash and Grab at all now. If we do, Grant picks for Trains, we pick for Devil's Playground, Grant picks for Jungle. We pick Devil's Playground now, Trains and Jungle pop up together and Grant can only pick composition for one of those.

      that would be fun to see but the free units on the map would all spawn as free capital ships. All he would need to do is get the group to the side of main base can use that to rescue all the others.

      @@alexholme7572 I think he said that the total cost will be kept about the same for the free spawns. Which means each 4-reaper group(including the starting one) would turn into a void ray(200/200 to 250/150). The real question is, what happens with the 3 reaper group? That's not enough for one? Or, by extension, what happens if we go BC, carrier, tempest and mothership where even the 4-reaper group is not enough for any of the unit?
      Does each spawn the cheapest of whatever is chosen if it's not enough for any. Does nothing spawn? Does each spawn location have a chance to spawn one based on the cost? (For example, 3 reaper with a 75% chance of a void ray)
      I really want to know how the mechanics work exactly.

      @@justanoman6497 I *think* the way it was explained it would keep a hidden "wallet" and once there is enough cash in it to spawn a unit it will do so? So f.e. first group is not enough to spawn anything, so it doesn't. Second group adds to the wallet and now it has enough resources to spawn a unit. Something like that.
      But that's just me interpreting what was said. I don't claim that's actually how it works and I'd like a proper explanation as well.

      @@alexholme7572 But the numbers are reduced based on what you get. So at most, he's getting 1 carrier or battlecruiser. It's still going to be funny and also, blowing out his capitol ships will make the battlecruiser mission much harder.

    I think Grant picking the creeper swarm host was an awful choice because it gave the infested creep which let them melee the swarm hosts faster lol

      Grant also seriously undervalues carrion hosts, considering he calls swarm host DPS bad in one sentence and says to always always choose creeper in the next. 50% damage boost turns them into MP-damage swarm hosts with campaign level respawn time

    Mission: Devil's Playground
    Units: Raptorling, Hunter Baneling, and Energizer
    Why: Because those zerg units almost never get to put their jumping to good use, and because lava and zerg go so well together, and because putting energizers with those units could be SUPER fun, and it'd be funny if energizers are your only anti-air but not impossible on this mission
    (Also everybody keep in mind if we delay smash and grab as long as possible, it'll severely limit Grant's mission choices throughout the campaign XD)

    We'll need medics, adepts and queens to make the composition smashable ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
    Add Vipers to also make it grabbable
    Thought about adding liberators and banshees, but offensive flyers make this mission trivial
    Bonus idea for Maw of the Void:
    Add 3 unusable units (just good enough to clear the first objective, bonus points if it's something useful for All In) and then top it of with some Dark Archons
    No way we are granting Grant an actual composition to beat this mission, but well he can build his own using protoss forces

    Proposal for Smash and Grab (borrowed from my comment yesterday, with updates):
    Composition: Right There in the Name
    Torrasque (for Smashing)
    Vipers (for Grabbing)
    Centurions (more Smashing, this time in an economically-feasible way)
    Ascendants (They mostly just grab your own units to eat them, but it's the only other "grab"-like ability besides Arbiter recall, and you used that!)

    "Don't Touch the Floor, the Floor is Lava":
    Mission: The Devil's Playground
    Units:
    1) Battlecruiser
    2) Carrier
    3) Mutalisk (Viper)
    4) Phoenix
    None of them touch the ground, so they render the lava a non-issue.
    However, none of them are capable of touching the ground, so they can't do any pickups.
    Plus the Phoenix is super helpful since it helps other units get off the ground to not touch lava. Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk...

    I feel like the way the outbreak mission was done with the purifier colossus, is the lore accurate way the Protoss would have cleared out the world if Jim didn’t step in to help. One them being “purifiers” is funny, but just massive colossus that almost seeming designed to deal with the infestation. Putting in there 9 to 5 where they huddle at night then break out in groups of 2-3 to casually clear things out. The broodlings don’t matter to them cause the shields will just regen by the next time they destroy the next building. The you have the fire which is extremely effective at destroying everything. Is just too perfect.

    I've actually done Outbreak as the last possible mission before Char (and the rest of the colonist questline), specifically because I wanted to build Battlecruisers on this mission. Turns out that BCs on Outbreak are hilariously effective at killing the infested. Extremely expensive but very good. Also, having Siege Tanks for defense makes the mission a breeze.

    Reapers, Phoenix, and Wraith. I think it would be fun to have a composition where the units are fast, but ground can only hit ground, and the air unit that hits both isn’t great. I think it’ll require a lot of skill but still be usable!

    The idea of rushing to Char is really good for grant, as he will have more good units available rather than spend them on other missions.
    Corruptors on a building clearing mission? That's going to be a uThermal pro move to pull it ngl.

      There are 2 big reasons why rushing to char would make grant’s life hell
      1: less research. If he doesn’t have hive mind emulator, that’s huge for us, since you know he will pull out all the stops there if he can.
      2: We force him to gates of hell and decide his comp. Then grant picks the next mission (lets say belly of the beast). Then we pick his comp on the next mission which is… the mission we want to kill him on.
      Doesn’t matter what units he has left if WE’RE the ones deciding the composition on all in

    Devil’s Playground: What’s required is a replacement for the reaper to deal with the hills and valleys and a way to defend yourself while blitzing. Viking/Muto for offense, Creeper Swarm Host/siege tank for defending and teleporting to the bases that need defense.

    Fun fact, depending on how you double cloaked in SC1, you would remain cloaked (also depending on how you lost said cloaking.) It was never too useful in competitive, but having permanently cloaked zerglings running around was always funny.

    Mission: Devil's Playground (aka the Redstone)
    Units: Centurion, Sentinel, Medic, Zealot(might need to use revive charge)
    The great story: Once upon time there was great zealous crusade for those "Yellow Minerals". Who needs cliff walking when you have might of the Khala and vKhala (v stands for virtual) on your side. (Medics are here because they have cross on their shield, so its thematic)

    For smash and grab for sure we need the fastest composition, so its vulture( fast and able to defend base while pushing ), medivac ( to transport vultures even faster ), zergling ( let them chew apart enemy ships ), stalker ( blink is pretty fast so its good, and at least some king if anti air )

    Some thoughts:
    - maybe add another rule: "At least 1 mineral dump"? So you aren't stuck without a way to spend minerals
    - this is the hellion mission. You went protoss hellion. Fitting.
    33:34 I just realized, Hanson is giving you a Curfew: "Be back before dark, or the infested will get you."

    I'm really surprised he didn't go hydra(lurker) for evacuation. Lurkers would have been perfect for this mission and wouldn't have used up his colossus yet. I think he made a mistake there but he was panicking.

    Devil's Playground: Wrathwalker, because I want to see if it's immune to lava by walking above it. Carrier, because you said you don't want to build it here.     Man what you said about elden ring is so true. Im mainly a city/builder RTS person but I was having a lot of trouble in elden ring looking at guides that made the bosses seem so complicated, then I read a comment that some guy was stuck on beastlord and came in to find his little nephew spamming jump attacks and won first try... So I tried just doing random stuff and had a waaaaay easier time than following some overly complicated math formula-esque strat to win, and also had more fun. Anyways long rant, but I appreciate the voice of reason that the beauty of games is you can play them your way

    That tendency to save the best for the worst situation, it's not new or always from peer pressure. Back when I played Final Fantasy on the NES (FF1), I would always save the Death and Flare spells on my Black Mage for last resort. Eventually, I realized that I almost never used them, so I stopped paying attention. I was handicapping myself without realizing it.

    Having Arbiters this mission is really good since you can cloak the APC, meaning you only need to small force protecting the Arbiter as it cloaks the APC all the way to the end.

    We need to make Grant:
    - Have to baneling drop (Hercules) to kill objectives (All in air, smash and grab, Supernova, BC mission...)
    - Have Vipers vs none legendary unit (not sure which versions of Kerrigan are and arent)
    - Have to have some sort of cursed healing Medevac Medic Melee zerg, or as people call it MMM

    one fun Idea is smash and grab with units/characters known for just that
    thor - in norce mythology thor is often randomly showing up killing a bunch of giants and leaving
    corsair - this is more looking at the pirate like name and going with that
    aborition - the idea is that this is hulk "smash"
    viper - they can grab units and pull them around "kinda"

    You know what I think would be interesting to add to this, hero units that can be balanced around if they have charges or not. Like say you can bring Urun for free to a mission, but you only ever get one from the merc camp and they cost resources. I'm not sure if this would work out balance wise but it would be interesting to test/think about.

    My idea for next time is:
    "Nobody is born a HERO"
    Take sentinel, havoc and energizer, add a spoonful of dragoon and mix throughly. That should make the dragoon as strong as humanly possible.
    And just like that the dragoon might reign supreme..... you could even call him a devil. And every devil needs its playground.

    Devil’s playground with banelings(your choice which) and medivacs! You’ve gotta collect money fast, so what better way to do that than to bust the bases quickly! Banelings are quite squishy though, so they’ll need healing! As a bonus, the medivacs can bring the banes up cliffs to gather hidden money piles! How generous of them!

    Also, i think infested was actually the mission to use purifier collosi on. Because whilst they are insane in legacy of the void facing constant masses of zerg and big groups of zealots, when do you face that in wings? Suprisingly, not that often before char. It's infested, havens fall (where all the air would be an issue) and.... what else? Everything else is primarily groups of heavier units, like seige tanks and immortals, which purifier collosi aren't all the great against. Infinitely better than regular collosi, but far from ideal.
    Once on char, well, theres 3 macro missions, and 2 of them will likely be viewers choice, so you wouldn't be using them there anyway. And it's only 1 revive charge if you want it for shatter the sky anyway.

    Grant, there are some important question I'd like to ask in regards to how the "voting" works and how the mod works. This would affect how we pick things for you. Because a lot of people are suggesting things with assumptions that are questionable or unknown.
    First, can we pick multiple branches of the same unit at once?
    Example 1: Carrier, Tempest, Mothership
    Example 2: Implaer hydra and lurker hydra.
    Second: Can we pick less than 4 units? You may see one of the top comment is Carrier only due to your comment last video, Not sure if that's possible for us to pick for you (Clearly, you can do it for yourself)
    And finally, about unit conversion mechanism of this mod. I believe you mentioned in the last video the conversion is based on cost. But what happens if the total cost of a group of unit does not reach the cost of the cheapest unit picked?
    Say, for example, you did go carrier only for devil's playground. What happens to each group of 3 or 4 reapers? That's not enough for a carrier. Do you:
    Get a carrier for each group regardless, as that is the lowest you can get.
    Get nothing, because the group doesn't afford you annything.
    Have a chance of getting a carrier based on cost (in this case, 3 reaper would be half chance to get one carrier, as it's half the cost)
    There is a running pool such that each time you have enough total, that's when you get a carrier. In this case, it would be every second group that grants a carrier.

    Reason: funny static defense units are funny. Also, no breaking the protoss bases for extra fun.
