T1 is a classic, T2 is a legend, and SCC was a great extension. T3 is a chore to watch, Salvation could have been good, and Genisys is the definition of beating a dead horse

T2 was a pop culture cash grab that created a lame ass time paradox even I, as a kid, understood was ridiculous. T3 was a sublime addition to the franchise that tried to fix that stupid T2 paradox, and overall was actually a 'decent' film. Salvation... agreed... could have been good... but too many plot holes (I mean... heart transplants are just something you do in a combat tent, amirite?). Genisys... wtf... why?
Though I disregard entries after T2, Genisys exceeded my very low expectations. There were some surprises and I liked a couple of things here and there. Still doesn’t justify it’s existence, but when during the same summer people are going ape shit for a bait-and-switch, boring as all hell, two hour car chase, I feel the need to defend the underdog.

My opinions on the T-800 skeleton... Something about the original when it had Arnold taken away from it was just freaky and intimidating as hell. May have been how jittery it moved or how the old camera made it look but these new ones man... They're good but they're not even close to as creepy looking as the originals.

At first, I liked how the movie started off and how they recreated scenes from the first Terminator in 1984 and seeing 2 Terminators of the same model battle each other. We have never seen two Arnold Terminators fight each other before. So I enjoyed seeing that. I think this movie went to shit when they traveled in time to the future and having John Conner as a terminator and a bad one at that. Also it didn't make any sense for John Conner to be conceived. Because that was supoose to happen in 1984. The movie to me started off good and then just went all over the place with the story line.

Pretty sure they would have made other spin of's , chronicles from other character such as John Connor, Kyle Reese , etc...

Ya know.. I liked T-Gen and i watched it hundreds of times. But it does have a lack of oomph. Maybe too emotional. It sucks that it wasnt as entertaining as T1 T2 & Salvation because there was alot of great stuff in There as far as ideas and the theme music and the cgi. Jason Clarke was brilliant as john Connor. Had everything going for it but it wasnt directed in a entertaining way. Which is how james cameron would have done it.
