    Haha I actually named the product... They had a competition sometime last year where you submit a name and they pick the winning name. I got $300!!

    Thanks Sarah. Some think retinal is less irritating than retinol. Good review.

    whoa shocked when you mentioned the US$ price - it's $91 to get here in Australia! Love using a bakuchiol serum on non-tret nights as my skin can't handle more than three tret nights, but at the AU$ i will stick with Neogen Bakuchiol. Thanks Sarah.

    Regarding the strength, you are correct. Wishtrend cream contain 0.03% (300 ppm) retinal and 1% (10000 ppm) bakuchiol. Compared with g&g 0.05% and 0.1%, wishtrend cream is weaker. I found those numbers on by wishtrend website

    I’m debating between geek and gorgeous retinal or the new Innbeauty retinol(complex of different retinols). It must be the packaging and star ingredients calling me, but not many trustworthy reviews out there😂Probably better for me to stick with Geek and gorgeous in the meantime

  • @angelinebiswas7611

    This is only a 0.03% Retinal(300ppm) and 1% Bacuchiol (10,000ppm) which the retinal is the same % as the beauty of JOSEON retinal ginseng eye cream. I’ve never gotten i irritation on my eyes from the 0.03% and I use every day since it came out so I can’t see this being very irritating since it’s so low %. On the other hand the geek and gorgeous is 0.05% retinal and I’ve gotten a tiny bit of peeling from that one. Funny thing is I use 0.25% tretinoin on most days and have never had irritation from that %. May be a good thing to do the conversion with a simple Google search before doing the review or using to give more context on strength/irritation etc! It would be super helpful I think for everyone interested I always have to covert Korean and Japanese products since they use PPM as opposed to % like the rest of the world.

    Happy Mother's Day 🐕🐩🐈I haven't tried this because I too am currently using tretinoin. I just started the past month. I'm not usually one for mixes of retinol products either

    I've noticed fig popping up alot lately. I started the Isntree PHA overnight mask I don't think it has fragrance so I assume it's the fig but it is such a strong scent that sticks around.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  2 года назад

      I also had the same issue with the isntree pha night mask. It was just strong enough that I noticed it, which is a bummer since most of their products are fragrance free.

    I don’t know for me the retinal is soooo far down it probably won’t do much. I know Korea is sooooo strict on vitamin A percentages even in over the counter products. Which is why Korea is not known for good Vitmain A products at all. I’d stick to geek and gorgeous if you want an affordable retinal

    Is bakuchiol fat soluble? I'm not sure when to add it .. thank you!!

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  2 года назад +1

      Bakuchiol is fat soluable- very friendly to oils as well as fatty alcohols, but not great mixing with water based serums. I typically use this towards the end of my routine and follow up with a thicker sleeping mask afterwards.

      Ooh this would be a great gift for mom and sisters too! My mother in law loves perfumes so I always look for those cute sets with the miniature perfume bottles for mother's days and birthdays. At first I had over 250 little perfume samples to give to her since I'm too sensitive to the smells. I wonder how many days worth one of the tiny perfume samples is, that might be like a year worth of different fragrances to play with!

    U can always find it in your collection atleast..lol I was interested in this.
    That's so funny I heard people using this as their moisturizer seemed weird to me like it wouldn't be enough moisturize with the retinol in it.

    I LOVE their polyphenols in propolis serum it's one of the best serums I've ever tried my entire life, I might give this a go as a neck retinol in the near future as I can't use adapalene on my neck, I'm currently using the ordinary granactive retionid emulsion 2% as a neck retinol which is ok for the most part I mix have a pipette with 2 pumps of liquid Gold I let it sink in then I apply a very thick nourishing moisturiser preferably with lots of emollient oils and very occlusive ingredients (usually shea butter based).
    Btw Sarah I was wondering if you can make an ingredient spotlight video on copper peptides with some recs products faves and dislikes, not too sure what's worth the money, I'd really appreciate that❤️
    Happy mothers day 🐩🐕🦮🐕‍🦺💖, Lincoln and Ike are so blessed to have you as their mum, I love how they always act like babies especially muffin Lincoln 😂, I'm pretty sure they have tons of cuddles and kisses for you as a gift, Camera man is also a great parent I noticed how much he LOVES all dogs and care about them 🥰

      I'm going to have to try that on my neck tonight. Boy I really screwed up yesterday. I had been using a retinol lotion on my arms and legs. Went for a short walk, about 20 minutes. Just hot enough for me to take my jacket off and I burned my poor arms. They are so pink and red today. Will have to remember to not make that mistake again this summer!!

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  2 года назад +1

      Ooh yes, I'll definitely have to do a copper peptides video, it's been a while since I've found any new copper peptide products to try out, I'll have to do through my stash just to make sure!

      @@NOBSBeauty oh noooo I remember I did that once to myself with a urea body cream, I had to use nearly a whole tube of cicaplast on my arms, it worked tho especially if you layer it under a thicker more occlusive bland fragrance free body cream, the finish doesn't feel very comfortable during summer time but during winter it feels AMAZING ( it's already getting much colder here now in the southern hemisphere but pretty sure it's not as bad as Minnesota I read u have some the harshest weather in the states), I hope summer is better for you guys, Summer here in Australia is really bad, one day with no sunscreen and I can definitely guarantee you'll most likely gonna burn to some stage
