      unfortunately the stadium will keep the winds low, so if he runs in the diamond league after Paris and can get a +2 wind, then we might see something crazy.

      She overdid it. She was not in her top form even after Jamaican trials. Now i believe she tried to regain her peak too quickly and something pulled. Thats it for her.

      ​@ThunderJuice that's the thing. No one really knows how he will perform on the big stage. It's fine setting these times in small events. We now have to see if he is Bolt 2.0 , or Powell 2.0. Whatever happens, should make for a very competitive 100m

      @@Lesego-Diavolos actually its pretty accurate. His form is very similar - compact and efficient with a hint of a rocking motion - but he seems to be able to carry it through when challenged...he doesnt have Asafa's lightning start- yet.

      Doubt it.
      People are far more stressed in finals. Kerly ran a 9.79 in semis and then ran 9.86 final. Bolt sort of jogged a 9.84 in semis of rio and then couldn't run faster than 9.8 at the final.

      @@neozyykun Bolt was not on form in Rio. Look at the actual 9.8 jogs during the rounds at the 2008 olympics then look at the 9.69 in the final. He appeared to not be fazed by pressure and displayed maximum shutting down. Some athletes are the real deal. Kishane might be one of them. We shall see

    os KT has wind converted runs of 9.89, 9.88, 9.84 and this one is a 9.87 this year so far. not one of them looked like he ran through the line. suppose he can run a sea level, zero wind 9.82 right now, then maybe in Paris he's good for a 9.78 by the time he sheds water weight for the final and loses another 1-2kg in the last 3 weeks...that would put him on track for a low 9.7 with +1 wind. (i hear that Paris' stadium is designed to keep winds below +1 m/s).

    Asafa Powell made a name by breaking records at these meets. I can't see the reason for slowing down when your in form. When you can run fast please do so because the time will come you can't run sub 10 because of injury and soforth

    Wait 9.77 then 9.91 huh🤔 Coleman ran 9.76 to never hit again. Consistency is key. If he’s the next Bolt we need to see more as one fast time doesn’t make you di best.
