What you say about painting across the whole painting makes lots of sense. Great painting!

The magnolia's are so lovely, Clair. I love the intense, dark colors in the background. They really make the magnolias pop once the white has been added to the flowers. I'm excited for you for your new studio plans!

I have this gouache and I have opened each paint right up. I have no issues with it drying out. When I store it, I just slip the closed container into a large ziplock bag before I store it. My house is heated with a wood stove, from October until March/April, and is a very warm, and dry atmosphere. Just thought I'd pass this tip along 😉 Now I'm going to continue watching the video 😊

What are your favorite brushes? I'm so done with cheap brushes. Lol!

To be honest I only use cheap brushes 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@@ClairBremnerArt Well then, I keep at it. I liked the one video of you where you shared that you use regular house painting brushes. I can't wait to get some for when I start painting large canvases. Perhaps I was overwhelmed with the large canvases because my "big" brushes weren't big enough. 🤷🏾‍♀️😊

Nah, I’ve had my set for over a year and they’re fine! Just give them a spray every now and again and they don’t go all watercoloury
