I honestly love how the doctor and Ruby only beat the maestro through sheer luck at the end, with the toymaker it was thanks to knowing his rules but with the maestro it was whole different world of challenges, makes me so curious to see the rest of the pantheon
If we never see maestro again I'm gonna be sad
I just saw that episode and I thought it's a bit of a waste for this character to not be a recurring one.
a new villain for the Doctor has been born and they are deliciously evil.
Jinx is my new favourite who baddie , so batshit crazy and pure evil , and hilarious. Move over davros 😮
I've got to be honest, maestro exceeded my expectations as a villain in The Devil's Chord! She was terrifyingly brilliant and I loved her scenes with the fifteenth doctor and ruby sunday! 😊😊
I was super impressed, the impact of their goal definitely hit hard
I seen others say it was worse than space babies but I don’t see it it’s not the best doctor who episode but it’s so far the best of the session so I don’t get the hate it got
Maestro was so unhinged in the BEST way! 😂 I love that they're a child of the Toymaker, and I also hope we get to meet many more siblings this season, because these beings are such delightful insanity. Love this edit!!! 🎼🎶

It was such a fun episode the Mastero was excellently cast. Their performance was amazing
i know this season they are trying to do a fantasy vibe to the whole show, and probably we will get one of these "celestial" beings every few episodes, but when they said the "maestro" i thought that this season would have a musical themed master i was completely on board
Honestly... there's still time for a Master musical or something, the Master is deeefinitely coming back soon, from the golden tooth that the Toymaker had, to the Maestro playing Saxon's theme..

Fantastic villain, the large ham stuff felt like it fit and was definitely didn’t overshadow the threat of the character - in fact I think the 4th Wall breaks were more effective cause the character was putting on a show all the time
They were amazing and terrifying and I just loved how whimsical and fantasy-esque the episode was, brings me back earlier NuWho vibes.
Jinkx left their iconic mark on Doctor Who forever!

I was worried about the level of camp with a Drag performer in the role but Jinx absolutely killed it! I was seriously impressed how the episode pulled off being campy and ridiculous at times but still not feeling stupid or overdone. I do hope there's some less musical episodes this season though.

The only thing didn't make sense was her end goals😂
1 she's eats music.... Key get that.... So why kill everyone? Why not let them play.....more food. For her for as long as humans live she could steal tunes from CDs
2. The sound of a nuclear winter didn't have to be on earth she could use music to manipulate humans feelings to go nuclear on idk the moon then she would still have music that humans made to eat on top of a nuclear winter... double power....
3. She wanted the music of the spheres.... eat the music of the planets .....or whatever....again to what end once you devour everything what then starve for eternity? 2. She kept banging on about Aolian which was halarious because her obsession with it was it's natural and mimicked nature and nature gave her power (....Aolian doesn't mimic nature .... It's just a sad scale.... Like a rain drum or something would be more accurate to mimic nature) ....nature inspired music and tones etc but if nature gave her power....why eat a poor imitation of it as opposed to just eating everytime it rained and drawing power from nature directly
She was the best villain I've seen since missy! But her villain logic is just flawed ...it's like a kid saying I want candy I love it want to eat it all day 🍬🍭 and I will get candy by destroying every candy factory in the world ....once ive done that I'll destroy the biggest candy factory in the universe because that way I'll get more candy 🍭🍬 yeah 👍
