I absolutely LOVE fishing and just anything that's related to ocean life. HOWEVER, to me this is absolutely DISGUSTINGLY GLUTTONOUS! It's greed at its worst. You absolutely cannot convince me that this is sustainable. This destroys entire ecosystems. It obliterates viable numbers of vital but endangered ocean life as a byproduct of the fishing industry. They don't ONLY catch their target quarry. They catch and in a lot of cases kill sealife that innocently get caught in their thousands of nets from hundreds of boats with nets that range from 10s of feet long or radius all the way to kilometers of strung net let out from a spool as the boat/ship makes a massive circle enclosing in everything within a MASSIVE grid measured area like the size of 3-10 football fields. Then the draw the encircled net tighter and tighter till they shut it, motor powered winch to get it back up on the deck weighing thousands of pounds, the pull the release and it's like a hot air balloon sized bag of every kind of sea life predator and prey alike smashed together under tremendous weight. So yea.. lots of the more sensitive marine life is killed and just thrown back in the water. Dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, small or baby whales, every kind of lethal stuff that when even touched against other sealife can kill them in an instant like box jellies etc. Then theres even the small innocent stuff like tropical fish like clown fish or sea horses. Both of these 2 animals aren't able to withstand the smallest bit of turmoil or grama. They die very easily.
