I don't mind the longer videos, love seeing others collections and what they pair together! I just did this myself after inking up about 16 new pens, wanted to see what else was still inked 😅 52 that's how many, even after pulling a few more to clean... 😬 so grand total might be my highest to date, rounding to 70 (probably missed one or two somewhere around here) 😮
Wow! 70 is a lot! I have definitely had over 50 or so inked before. Maybe 60, but I’m not sure if I’ve hit 70. It’s possible! It really doesn’t bother me to have a lot of pens inked. I think some of these that are inked have just been sitting for SO long that I don’t want lose them again amidst a ton of newly-inked pens. They won’t be what I reach for, not because I don’t like them, but because they aren’t the new and exciting additions to the pen case. Anyway thanks for hanging out with me! Lol! And thanks for your kind encouragement! 🥰
@@gingerpeachy yes, 50 was my last count actually 😅 then I didn't want to know for awhile. But, I had so many new pens and inks I hadn't even used yet that it didn't matter. Most of my pens I found are good at storing ink for months. I tell myself it's an experiment, seeing how long they can go without drying out, hard starting, or evaporating 😂😋 98% of them are likely filled with shimmer inks too! 😊
I love these videos! And I don’t think it’s sad at all. Don’t get me wrong, I love an aesthetically themed currently inked as much as the next person, but I loved seeing how you actually use your pens.
Thank yooouuuu! I needed to hear that. Doing this has helped me begin to clean out some pens that have seen better days and get ready to hopefully ink some other pens soon!
That's a good question. It's definitely not a need, and I wish I had a good answer. I think it's just a desire to feel and use pens with lots of different shapes, sizes, materials, etc. I have been very guilty of impulse purchases in the past -- see a pretty pen, buy it ASAP -- but this year I've tried to be more discerning and have only bought a few that seemed different or special. I also try to regularly sell pens I am no longer in love with. I will say that I have been a FP user for about 15 years, so this collection certainly wasn't acquired overnight!
I'm firmly in the Japanese EF to MF camp for my writing needs (mixed script texts with English and Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Korean), but the 823 with an M nib is just glorious!
that river city pen is stunning! i ran to white bear pens website and their case is already sold out. i should have known there was no time to wait. lol
I just did a deep clean/reset of my pens so only 6 inked currently, which is low for me lol 🥴 That green VP is so pretty, if you ever want to part with it let me know haha 😅
@@gingerpeachy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you are fineeeeee! Life gets crazy. ❤️ It's always good to hear your voice and I listened to you chat about pens while getting ready for work. 🥰
It really is! And I don’t know why. I don’t know if it’s because I’m talking, or because I’m in a hurry. I’m not looking through my camera, so that’s not it. But I always struggle making my writing look decent on camera! However my random work notes that nobody will see: flawless! Lol
@@gingerpeachy For me the the paper isn't aligned with my body the same, for sake of the angle of the camera. But regular writing, the paper has the correct alignment, so neat writing is easier to accomplish.

It was fun to watch this while I was doing stuff with my own pens and ink. 😊
That little tiny one is so cute!
Aw, how fun! I'm glad I could "hang out" with you! 🥰
As a noobie to the FP world I am curious what influences you to buy another pen when you have so many to choose from already. Thank you.

You have lots of beautiful pens and inks! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Connie! 🥰
So happy to see a video from you! I think I need to try Monteverde Gratitude.
I love it! I'm actually considering letting go of my bottle of Yama Budo. Anytime I think about using it, I go for this instead!
I love love the Pilot Custom 823... the Medium nib is my sweet spot
I think it's my favorite of the three! I'm leaning towards finer steel nibs, but if I could only keep one 823, it would be the M nib. It's fantastic!

Ahh thank you Gretchen! 🥰 I love your comments! lol

It's a beauty for sure! And Mikayla will have new Polar Bear Party items soon - she just posted on her IG stories today!

I feel a reset coming soon! 6 is a good number to start with. I’ll try to let you know if I let go of the Taiwan VP!
Ku-Jaku is one of my favorite inks.
It's a good one! So far, I haven't met an Iroshizuku ink I don't like.
@@gingerpeachyagreed! Ku Jaku was actually my very first bottle purchased, Iroshizuku line is my go to for well behaved inks ❤

Where did you get the cute polar bear pen case?
It’s from White Bear Pens!
Hello!!!!!! ❤❤❤
Hey, Hi!! Thanks for the postcard and I'm sorry for not talking to you in like 340984530 months.

Yes, that probably makes a difference for me, too!
