I provided some of the sound effects for RCT2, and am an Easter Egg in the game. Chris and I met on a coaster trip to USA in 1999 and we have remained friends ever since. Sadly I never really had enough play time to enjoy RCT3, and winning a copy of RCT1 changed my life as I bought a computer to play it on, and met my future wife online straight after that...so RCT has been a big part of my life. Great video by the way.
It was really exciting when the game came out...to see my name listed in the credits...and then appear on websites listing the new cheat codes for RCT2 :-)
RCT:W didn't flop it is a far better game then Planet Coaster. Frontier are just skill less fucks that cant make an orginal game of there own so they jsut stole RCT and renamed it. Lazy devs like frontier shouldnt be supported.
I have seen some videos on RUclips.., and I really want to play Parkitect.., It has the nostalgic appearance of RCT 1 & 2 , but the developers have given it a new look.
The only hope left is Atari giving away the publishing rights to Frontier. If they even need that at all, Planet Coaster is making its own brand now, so at least the genre is saved :-)
I love the original RollerCoaster Tycoon series, RCT2 is my favorite of all time. So much unlimited freedom to do anything you want in a theme park sim, with an addition of the Scenario Editor, you can make countless dream parks of your very own. What makes RCT2 even more fun are the customized mods, with mods you can recreate famous real life theme parks. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 was very good, I like how you can ride your own rides you've built, but if you make a very big park, the game will lag and slow down, but still a good game, but that's where the ride stops here, because that's when the series went downhill (no pun intended ) with the release RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D, that game was a complete trainwreck, but the final nail in the coffin was the absolutely abysmal RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Moble. RollerCoaster Tycoon World is a disappointing entry in the series, it could've been great, but ended up as a flop. I will say this, it is better than RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Moble, but it is still an unplayable mess compared to the first 3 games. Thank goodness for RCT Classic on IOS devices for old school RCT fans.
It's a shame because RCT is one of the best franchises of all time. Only 1-3 that is. 3 had its issues at launch but the Soaked and Wild packs more than made up for it. 1 and 2 are timeless sim classics.
@@galfisk OpenRCT2 is quite promising, although the multiplayer mode is as you said unstable. I played this a week ago with 2 of my friends at my place at a LAN, but OpenRCT2 desynced pretty hard after a short while, and it happened over and over again. We had to give up after a while because the multiplayer became unplayable because of this. Our solution for scratching that multiplayer itch of RollerCoaster Tycoon, is to play coop multiplayer in Parkitect. Although the multiplayer in Parkitect is still in Beta, neither me or the friend I played with encountered any desyncs, lag or bugs or anything like that while playing multiplayer. Parkitect even supports 8 player coop multiplayer at the included scenarios.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 is that reason that I'm not only a gamer but a coaster enthuisast as well (into coasters IRL because of RCT1). Sure I played racing games before that, but it wasn't by myself and usually with my older brother, RCT1 changed that. I'm pretty sure that I've put more hours into the RCT series than I have any other series including Pokemon with I'd wager at least a year's worth of playtime overall if not close. Note, there are in-app purchases on the mobioe version of RCT Classic, but those are a toolkit which gives you the scenario editor and other features (including Planda World and all of the Six Flags parks) and the two RCT2 expansions and are one-time things. I only got the toolkit but put a shitload of hours into Classic before suffering from burnout with the game (do something so much you simply get bored of it) and not because of anything to do with the game itself. The only thing that sucks is that I'm lucky to get out to a major amousement parks once a year as I'm the only person in my family into amusement parks and roller coasters, have a mere 23 credits as a result.
Same with me! I loved playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and that is what got me facinated with roller coasters. I used to be scared to ride most of them until one day when one of my so called friends ditched me at Hersheypark and that was when I told myself I needed to face my fears of riding roller coasters and now I ride them. I have 29 credits due to my mom not being a fan of amusement parks and dad respects her for not wanting to travel all around to all these amusement and theme parks, so I've only been to ones that are within 2 hours of where I live. Some of the credits come from when I went to Disney World when I was 5 and riding some coasters at the ocean too. I'm hoping my 30th is Twisted Timbers at Kings Dominion this summer, but I do not count on it.
RCT is one of the main objects in my childhood. I started playing RCT1 when i was 5. When i was 6, i began to play RCT2. Now i am 13 years old, and i still play OpenRCT2. RCT changed my life. I love rollercoasters now. I think RCT2 (OpenRCT2) was the best game of the series.
I clearly regret buying RCTW and also clearly regret not refunding it to this date... I own all old PC RCT titles and love them, but the thing they did with RTCW was just scaming ppl... Now happy in enjoying Planet Coaster :)
Yes, it has the graphics, animations, text style etc. from RCT 2 (Although there are only minor differences) and the scenarios from both games. And also a bug that lets the merry-go-round not display the guests actually riding it. xD So it kind of is a port of both games combinded, yes.
There's a mod out there for Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 called "OpenRCT2", which allows for a bunch of in-game limits to be raised significantly and has increased customization. The biggest feature of the mod however is that they've somehow made it able for you to play with other people online, meaning you can play in the same park as other people as you all do your own thing or work together. It's really cool and it's worth checking out.
I was working at an EB Games when RollerCoaster Tycoon was released, and I recommended it to anyone who would listen. As a lifetime gamer, some of my fondest gaming memories are in that game and its sequel. I did not enjoy the transition into 3D with RCT3, but Planet Coaster certainly won me over! But everything Atari released in between has been not just disappointing but actually insulting to fans. I can't think of any other franchise going from the top of its genre to crashing and burning this hard, and it's so fucking sad. Even now I want to give Atari the benefit of the doubt and remain hopeful that one day, RollerCoaster Tycoon will have a worthy sequel, but at this point, that seems like a pipe dream. Thank goodness for Frontier and Planet Coaster!
Planet coaster is just a lazy clone of RCT games fuck frontier they are lazy fucks that cant make their own original ip. Also they had there clueless fucking fans pay for its dev. while atari paid for their out of pocket so ya fuck frontier and planet coaster
Haha you say that on every positive reaction on Planet coaster, the real lazy ass and only focused on money developer is Atari, Have you seen what they try to sell?! An incomplete buggy game called rctw. Also don't forget the RCT idea is from frontier! At frontier they actualy Listen to their customers, and create extra addons with things in it People actualy asked for. You can even Talk with some People of the team on some Facebook pages. Just admit rctw is a flop, All the numbers and reviews say so. Steam rating is bad. Its buggy and Just fast money. Since frontier left Atari they are nothing.
I think it's kind of sad how underappreciated Bullfrog's Theme Park World is. That game had a lot of character to it and was the pinnacle of my childhood.
RCT was one of the first PC games I dove deep into. Which led me to playing a game called Metal Fatigue on PC and ultimately my first social online RPG in Runescape. Thank you RCT. WhatCultureGaming you guys are awesome for doing this vid on RCT
I wish it’ll get a console port. Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 HD remake. I’m glad though there’s some rollercoaster games out there that still have these old school roots
RCT3 never got me. I didn't like it. Started with RCT, but most liked RCT2 for the sandbox to create rollercoasters outside a park environment. Nowadays I keep my eyes on OpenRCT2, although the project has small steps I see the future of this type of game there.
Locomotion wasn't badly recieved, at least not in Europe. It was a good success and still has a huge fanbase here with people making their own vehicles, new goods, buildings and other vehicles. I personally spent more hours in Locomotion than in RTC 1 and 2 combined. It maybe not as succesfull as RCT 1&2 but it wasn't a failure at all.
At the beginning of the video it was asked, "who played RCT back in the day?" Ok first off, I still play it like average of 3 times a week. I remember ordering it off Chips-N-Bits and having it shipped to me overseas to my base. I've been playing it since it came out and still playing. Love this game. For me easily RCT 1,2 and 3 are in my top 10 games of all time. It is sad and frustrating to see what greed has done to the franchise. But from 1-3 I got nothing but love and alot of playing time invested.
superweapons i got more gametime with RCT 1 & 2 than all cod's combine.. and i hit master prestige on all of them except (IW, AW & GHOSTS) i didn't buy those garbage games
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 was my entire childhood, I still love it but it doesn't work on my laptop anymore, after yet another Windows Update.. RIP to my numerous parks
I use to play RCT every day when I got home until I fell asleep to it. I would leave my computer on all day with the game on pause while I was at school.
I never really got to play RCT but I did get to play the Thrillville series on my PS2. That game was so much fun and you can ride all the rides. I only wish they had made more than 2 and of course updated the visuals and stuff.
I still own and play the first three games and all of their expansion packs. I also have RCT Classic (first and only time I've outright paid for a mobile game) and will eventually buy the expansions for that too. I bought World but am yet to play it because I never had a capable PC, but will likely go on to Planet Coaster if I dislike it. Never really cared for the other two mobile apps though. RCT was one of the first video games I ever played and always played with my dad, who has since passed, so the original games are very special to me.
Rct3 happened. I've been playing Rct2 since release, almost 20 years. I play it almost daily... When rct3 came out, I was so excited, and tried for months to enjoy that game. The waterpark addons were the only thing that made it slightly worth it. I just remembering hating that game so much, that I gave it to a cousin and kept playing rct2. There are still RUclipsrs who make content strictly on rct2, but almost one one remembers the 3rd game.. The 3d of rct3 aged terribly. That game is almost unplayable today. Whereas Rct and Rct2 have that classic computer game feel that aged like fine wine. The person who developed the franchise, Chris Sawyer, was known to be unimpressed with the final version of Rct3 that hit store shelves. His baby was Rct vanilla and Rct2. I think the 3rd game was the first game he did, where he didn't do all the coding himself. It just doesn't feel like a Chris Sawyer project, sadly. Thats my opinion, coming from someone who religiously still plays the first 2 games. I'm sure there are people who LOVE rct3, it just wasn't for me!!
For Planet Coaster i payed more for pre release and i do not regret it. Such an amazing game and it has replaced RCT3. I hope Planet Coaster will also get an extension like soaked and wild in RCT3. I want to build also waterparks and zoo-areas. What i liked so far it the port of RCT2 to mobile. It's nice to play some time on the go.
Hope they come back to add more larger DLC like that to the game, think they have been so focused of JWE to do large content expansions. On the positive, if they do come back to it, what they learned from JWE would lend well to a zoo expansion.
Greatest PC game of all time. Logged HOURS on this and still do. RCT2 is amazing, still have every game. It’s definitely NOT “the laughing stock of the tycoon series.” RCT4 is just a joke
I loved RCT2 when it came out, but didn't know the rest of the story. I guess somewhere along the way I changed computers and didn't bother to reinstall RCT2 on the new machine. Several years later I'm like, "oh yeah I remember that game. It was great. What happened..?" and the story's just sad. Great video tho!
I was totally hooked on both RCT and RCT2. When the P4 2.4Ghz chip was released RCT2 ran like a dream come true. I made a recreation of Cedar Point complete with custom items using trainer programs. Too bad I need WinXp to actually load in those saved games.
I got Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 through a catelog that we'd get a school from time to time, it was a book catalog, but it had some computer games on there as well. I ended up ordering mostly computer games...lol and Tycoon 2 was my first roller coaster game and loved it and played it nearly 24/7 and then when Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 came out I ended up getting that too, I liked that you could ride the rides and roller coasters, but I still find that one harder than tycoon 2. I still to this day play Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, just not as much as I used to.
OMG I Played Endless Of Hours Into RollerCoaster Tycoon Back In The Day And I LOVE IT!! Plus I Played THE SIMS Alongside Rollercoaster Tycoon As Well. I Really Hope RollerCoaster Tycoon Make It To Consoles Such As The PS5 Because Its Such A Legendary Series. Make It What It Was Back In The Day With DLC's To Update The Park With New Attractions In The Parks. Make The Game The Same As The First 3 Games But In HD.
RCT3 was actually made by Frontier so Planet Coaster IS the spiritual successor of RCT3 and rightly deserves it so. Planet Coaster is how I would have envisioned a modern RCT so props to them!
RCT Classic is definitely the games I remember playing, when the first Rollercoaster Tycoon games came out. Definitely still as addictive now, as it was around 20 years ago. Planet Coaster is that, and a whole lot more! It should definitely be the successor to the RCT Franchise. It is for me. Best coaster sim since RCT3!
If you want the best version of Rollercoater Tycoon, go with Open RCT2. You will need RCT2 for it to work. You can play RT2 expansion packs, the UCES, and attach RCT1 and its expansion packs to it ,too. I think it is also compatible with RCT Classic.
An interesting, if brief, retrospective on the RCT legacy. I have to say though, not a single mention of Parkitect, the other RCT successor? It may not be as flashy as Planet Coaster, but it is still very much in the legacy of the older isometric RCT1 & 2. And personally, having dabbled in them both, Parkitect feels more fleshed out and complete than Planet Coaster. Also, I'm saddened that more folks don't mention the fan-made open-source OpenRCT2, the unofficial porting and reverse-engineering of the original game code to create something that is a technical improvement on the original while keeping all of the original game's magic.
I bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 1-3 games about 15-20 times because my little sister kept losing or breaking the disc. Not any other game, but specifically Rollercoaster Tycoon.
there is an incredible tycoon on roblox called theme park tycoon 2, it is basically RCT3 with roblox things and it has been updated ever since the beginning of 2012! It's currently (when this comment was posted) version 198.
Just want to make a small correction. Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile wasn't free when it was first released. It did eventually become free, although even before that it still had all the freemium features despite its original status as a pay to play.
I loved this series as well, really most of the old Sim games. The OG SimCity, Civ, even SimAnt, SimEarth, SimHospital, RCT...there was another unrefined game for PC IIRC, basically a sim theme park game, can’t recall the title, could even be one of the games named.
planet coaster uses denuvo and if you complain about that or ask frontier if they’ll remove it they’ll ban you from the forums, i’ll stick with RTC2, thx
Honestly, every now and then I go back to just plain RCT2. Nothing beats the classic style, the rides, the game play, the sound effects and it's not RCT without Johann Strauss II's, "The Blue Danube" playing as soon as you open the Merry Go Round.
I grew my channel on RCT3. Admittedly my RCT3 is modded to hell but I've pushed it to create some seriously good stuff, that was until I tried to recreate the entire Fallout 4 map as a theme park and the game exploded. But have a look on my channel and you'll find some decent RCT3 content. That is, if you can believe it's RCT3
If you want a modern version of rct1 and 2. You need to take a look at PARKITECT. It works the same. But a little bit more modern and more fantasy. But its a lot of fun
Ive seen RCTC in my recommended list thought it would be another pay for everything if you want to have fun kinda game then at 9:02 I had to pause this video so I could download RC tycoon classic on my phone I've missed that game so much. My inner 10 year old wants to thank you.
You should do one on the Zoo Tycoon series. The newest release stripped out all the customization and turned it into a drag'n-drop mobile style game with pretty graphics and an inability to lose. It was offensive for anyone who loved the franchise. Also it advertised over 100 species but they just reskinned several species and changed the environmental preference.
I've sunk whole DAYS into RCT 1...i can still play the carousel music in full in my head. damn, had I spent that time studying instead of laying pathways down I think I'd be a pretty successful bloke. Ah who am I kidding.
How do you not mention parkitect in this video? It’s basically a modern day replica of RCT with greatly enhanced features and building options, and in my opinion blows planet coaster away. Great research what culture
I loved playing RCT3 (I liked RCT 2 too, but RCT 3was better for me). I played a lot of it! Bought even soaked and wild. Now i’m playing planet coaster.
I'm completely with you on the first 2 Rollercoaster Tycoons, thank god they did not clock my play time back then xD And when Planet Coaster came out I was so happy my old love returned. Atari screwed the pooch on this one, just another example of publishers destroying the golden franchises in their hands (other examples include FlatOut and Dungeon Keeper). I might check out the RCT Classic for my phone and tablet though, that might be fun for nostalgia's sake.
Keep it classic 2d forever and just add to it. The mobile game is the best thing they have done for the brand and has once again revived my nostalgia and love for the game.
Hey guys, there multiplayer Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. You play the open source game with triple the expansions OpenRCT2 project. Google it can come play!
For anyone that still plays RCT2...call a guest David Ellis (that's me) and watch their thought bubbles when they ride the coasters :-)
davidjellis wow! What a amazing claim to fame to be part of video game history!
davidjellis does this work on mobile version?
I am not sure, to be honest...but I think the most recent version that was produced for mobile devices still include the cheat codes.
It was really exciting when the game came out...to see my name listed in the credits...and then appear on websites listing the new cheat codes for RCT2 :-)
RCT world flopped, and Planet coaster showed up. That’s what happened
This right here.
It didn’t necissarily “show up”. Planet coaster is made by frontier, same developer as Rct3 so planet coaster is basically the sequal to rct3
Niek, In my mind, planet coaster is the true and worthy sequel to RCT3, Chris Sawyer would have shed tears of joy at planet coaster.
RCT:W didn't flop it is a far better game then Planet Coaster. Frontier are just skill less fucks that cant make an orginal game of there own so they jsut stole RCT and renamed it. Lazy devs like frontier shouldnt be supported.
brian mo frontier made rct3 so.....
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 was the best one!
It is still being played today thanks to mods.
Check out Parkitect for some RTC2 itch scratching
1 had the better scenarios but 2 added in a lot of new features and fixed some bugs
Nah, RCT3 is the best. RCT2 is the second best.
Vee false
Parkitect is another RCT type game that keeps the isometric viewpoint. Still 3d, but keeps that old-school feel.
Game Taco I luv this game xD
I have seen some videos on RUclips.., and I really want to play Parkitect.., It has the nostalgic appearance of RCT 1 & 2 , but the developers have given it a new look.
Is it still early access? The looks of the Game a cool for sure but can you still not play any career mode?
NoiseBomb no carrier mode last time I checked, but it is still cool
I'm waiting for that then. But it is an awesome game already in sandbox mode. I just need a challange.
The only hope left is Atari giving away the publishing rights to Frontier.
If they even need that at all, Planet Coaster is making its own brand now, so at least the genre is saved :-)

Make a short queue for popular coaster. Hire mascots. Build pool next to queue.
Drown mascots in front of customers to establish dominance.

Oh that's easy, it was destroyed in personal injury lawyer tycoon.
I remember watching in horror as my sister sent various people to their watery grave with the help of a flashy rollor coaster.

"Look at Solo a Star Wars story. Who's waiting for that?"
Boy, watch the movie and you'll regret those words
Playing RCTC on my tablet. Works quite well and has a ton of scenarios.
RCT Classic is excellent, I love it.
Well, it technically is RCT1 and RCT2 combined, so it has all of their scenarios (except "Urban Park" for some reason).
Timolino567
Is it? Well for a port it’s great, relaxing and challenging all the same time.
Yes, it has the graphics, animations, text style etc. from RCT 2 (Although there are only minor differences) and the scenarios from both games. And also a bug that lets the merry-go-round not display the guests actually riding it. xD

brian mo Yo when was the last time you played Planet Coaster. They constantly update it. Lol. It’s the true RTC 4.
brian mo , what is this personal vendetta you have against Planet Coaster? Did they fire you from their team or something? It's a good game.
blahaha love how all you fools forget the fact that planet coaster is just a shity clone of RCT games
I think it's kind of sad how underappreciated Bullfrog's Theme Park World is. That game had a lot of character to it and was the pinnacle of my childhood.

1 was an amazing game, I probably spent 250+ hours on it. Great video!
Lugh Ildanach those are rooky numbers lol
i played rctd on steam 264+ hours :)
superweapons i got more gametime with RCT 1 & 2 than all cod's combine.. and i hit master prestige on all of them except (IW, AW & GHOSTS) i didn't buy those garbage games
FUCKING IDIOT THAAT THE WORST ONE
played 2 for over 1000
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 was my entire childhood, I still love it but it doesn't work on my laptop anymore, after yet another Windows Update..
RIP to my numerous parks
I was absolutely ADDICTED to rct2 back in the day! My playtime was probably mire then my beamng one: like 200 hours in 3/4 year
RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe is where it's at, I still play the originals on a daily basis.
Glad that you're making more of this kind of videos, keep up the good work!
I don't care what people say but Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is fucking great
I recently bought RCT again on Steam for 3.99. And I already have Planet Coaster. But the charm of RCT will never be topped.
Yay for more hairy chests on WCG!
the fuck
Transport Tycoon Deluxe and Rollercoaster Tycoon were my jam back in the 90's.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 & 3 were THE games for me..I loved every single part of them
especially rct3
now planet coaster is my new addiction
RCTW is better
brian mo I haven't actually played rctw but planet coasters coaster creator was so cool and I'm lovin it
its just a shity clone of RCT games
I loved RCT2 when it came out, but didn't know the rest of the story. I guess somewhere along the way I changed computers and didn't bother to reinstall RCT2 on the new machine. Several years later I'm like, "oh yeah I remember that game. It was great. What happened..?" and the story's just sad. Great video tho!
I spent so many hours playing RollerCoaster Tycoon . I still have in for my PC , I should really try playing it again!
I was totally hooked on both RCT and RCT2. When the P4 2.4Ghz chip was released RCT2 ran like a dream come true. I made a recreation of Cedar Point complete with custom items using trainer programs. Too bad I need WinXp to actually load in those saved games.
I owned Transport Tycoon, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, Locomotion and all three RCT with all extra packs. - i loved them
I got Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 through a catelog that we'd get a school from time to time, it was a book catalog, but it had some computer games on there as well.
Still got RCT2 Deluxe Edition and play it every now and then, it still my favorite of the series.
RCT1 is my favorite game of all time. It was a huge part of my childhood.
so much nostalgia, Instantly going to buy it now from Steam
RCT3 was actually made by Frontier so Planet Coaster IS the spiritual successor of RCT3 and rightly deserves it so. Planet Coaster is how I would have envisioned a modern RCT so props to them!
RCT Classic is definitely the games I remember playing, when the first Rollercoaster Tycoon games came out. Definitely still as addictive now, as it was around 20 years ago.
Planet Coaster is that, and a whole lot more! It should definitely be the successor to the RCT Franchise. It is for me. Best coaster sim since RCT3!
I have 1 - 3 with all expansions. I can only play 3 on my Macbook Air - I love it :) Best Coaster Game.
I ran out of elements I could add for my Cedar Point recreation for RCT2 (circa 2004). I was just getting to Soak City when I hit that limit.
parkitect needs more recognition tbh
I remember buying the physical CD version of roller coaster tycoon 3 platinum, at our local gamestop in 2009.
bought roller coaster tycoon classic, nostalgia, would say best purchase in my life :3
Still have the original one, played it as a kid so much nostalgia
Side note: Chris Sawyer worked on RCT3 and Planet Coaster hand in hands with Frontier.
I bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 1-3 games about 15-20 times because my little sister kept losing or breaking the disc. Not any other game, but specifically Rollercoaster Tycoon.
can you do a video on Zoo Tycoon 2. love that game and would love a new Zoo Tycoon
Oh shit I didn't know of the existence of RCT Classic for mobiles, buying that asap
I spend waaaay too much time playing it. Worth every penny.
It's great!
It's a perfect Port you will not be disappointed by all the expansions too
Amen brother. I had the same reaction when I decided to search it on the app store and sure enough it was waiting for me.
It's on pc as well.
there is an incredible tycoon on roblox called theme park tycoon 2, it is basically RCT3 with roblox things and it has been updated ever since the beginning of 2012! It's currently (when this comment was posted) version 198.
So that's why Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic was so good. No Atari involvement.
Just want to make a small correction. Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile wasn't free when it was first released. It did eventually become free, although even before that it still had all the freemium features despite its original status as a pay to play.
Rollercoaster tycoon 2 has an open source engine mod now that you can also play multi-player on. I play it a lot still
Perfect video. Pls, make more of these!!!
I loved Roller coaster tycoon in fact I think I may still have my original game. Wish I had a good computer I could play it on
I loved this series as well, really most of the old Sim games.
Planet Coaster is Fun.
But Parkitect is my personal favorite spiritual successor
there is no such things as a spiritual successor
as RCTW is the actual successor to the rct series
I think that Roller Coaster Tycoon Switch could be a glimmer of hope.
I'm completely with you on the first 2 Rollercoaster Tycoons, thank god they did not clock my play time back then xD
And when Planet Coaster came out I was so happy my old love returned. Atari screwed the pooch on this one, just another example of publishers destroying the golden franchises in their hands (other examples include FlatOut and Dungeon Keeper). I might check out the RCT Classic for my phone and tablet though, that might be fun for nostalgia's sake.
i still play rct2 and rct3 both are great games!
Keep it classic 2d forever and just add to it. The mobile game is the best thing they have done for the brand and has once again revived my nostalgia and love for the game.
My dream would be for Chris to take the lead in a last attempt to send the series off on a good note.
I have RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic on my galaxy s8, I love it almost beaten every park
“Just look at Solo: A Star Wars Story. Who’s actually excited for that?” I am, you fucker.
Look out of Parkitect for that classic feeling
Hey guys, there multiplayer Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. You play the open source game with triple the expansions OpenRCT2 project. Google it can come play!
I still have "Loopy Landscapes"
Frontier also developed my favorite game ever. Elite Dangerous
I don't even want to know how many hours I've spent playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 as a child. I feel as though it would be too embarrassing to see
Planet Coaster is a worthy spiritual successor IMO.
You know what’s worse, you can’t buy RCT 3 on steam, Mac App Store, or GOG anymore. So whoever doesn’t own RCT 3 digitally, can’t get it anymore.
Pipeworks made a godzilla trilogy of games which were incredible!
