If the Super Mario Bros. Movie was a big success, thus redeeming Nintendo and the world from the disaster that was the 1993 "Super Mario Bros." film, then we are long overdue for a Star Fox movie. This very arrangement should be used for the credits of that Star Fox movie we're all dying to see!
MIDI sounds have come a long way. I remember doing this kind of thing in the late 90s when Finale came out, and was basically THE software for notation. Those soundblaster chips were hilarious, but that was cutting edge at the time.
Awesome work as always:) one note though; the soundtrack to the first StarFox (which this is based on) was not composed by Koji Kondo but Hajime Hirasawa.
+Janteslov it's true, you're right. I'll fix it in the score. I confused as Koji Kondo appears in the credits as "sound effects" just before the composer. It was my fault not verify
This was awesome!!! Also, I got a question. I'm a Finale 2014 user too and I was wondering of you used a different device for the recording (for example Garritian) or is this a recording from a real orchresta, because this sounds very real.
Arvid Olson I know what transcribing means. But I think this would be considered arranging since he added some notes/rhythms that weren't in the original. Also they didn't have all of these instruments in the original.
+Fate Plays Oh, yes, It actually sais Arrangement by Andrés Soto, sorry for being unobservant. But then I have another question... Do you arrange these peices by ear? And what do you do for a living having all this time arranging?

Brilliant! This sounds like a John Williams composition with the many horns !
It brings tears to my eyes... So beautiful and nostalgic...

Good jobs
The original Star Fox trilogy was amazing, the sequel trilogy not so much. ;)
Here we go again...
How much time does it take to do 1 arrangement?
Awesome woo hoo i love it omg my heart is so happy i love it 😂
Hi fox oh my gosh I am a huge fan
Your game Star Fox Zero is so cool I beat it like 7000 times you make cool games
WHY DON'T YOU HAVE MORE SUBSCRIBERS?! And what do you do for a living having all this time transcribing?!
+Arvid Olson *arranging
If you listen to a piece of music and then arrange it, as close to the original score as possible, you transcribe it.
Arvid Olson I know what transcribing means. But I think this would be considered arranging since he added some notes/rhythms that weren't in the original. Also they didn't have all of these instruments in the original.

Arvid Olson hey np
...Isn't this just a MIDI version of the Orchestral Game Concert version? But with a few minor tweaks in some harmonies?
Its not just that. Its the sheet music so that any orchestra can perform it.
Probably one of the weakest themes in video games. At-least it tries to sound acceptable.
Its ok to be wrong.
That's an L take, dude.
@@jonnycarcano Do you listen to orchestras? This video tried to make it sound good and I didn't say anything bad about thr Video.
