Another great video. We were in the exact location you are on the beach in that lagoon. That’s where we ingested a shell into the impeller trying to “ Back in…”
Thus, the reason we also acquired a 1994 pontoon boat (with a bullet hole in it) to take sandbar trips. Boca Grande is awesome, but the water temperature is , well, “Urine” for some warm water there!

That's a powered paraglider or PPG if you're one of the cool kids. There's two seat versions and if it interests you, there's usually someone in your area with one that'll take you up.
And we anchored in Pelican Bay 35ish years ago. The sand bar has moved a bit according to Google Earth, but looks the same otherwise. I keep telling you- I'm reliving my gulf coast cruising childhood through your videos. Thank you so much.

That’s so neat that you were there (and the sandbar was still there!) 35 years ago! Thanks for the kind words and following along!

@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Pretty much everywhere you've been on the Gulf Coast brings back memories. Tampa Bay and the Manatee River were my stomping grounds when I went out alone and I'm really looking forward to when you get up that way.

Ha… pretty funny. Thanks for the laugh. My wife and kids say the same about my Lawng Island accent. A few drinks or hitting some traffic on the cross bronx expressway when visiting family and it will no doubt come out strong. Not in Pa anymore they say! Thanks for the great videos.

Please do yourself a favor and do everything that you can to protect your skin. I have been fortunate to be a snowbird for almost 2 decades. I am lucky that I am among the 1%'s as I am approaching 80 years old. However, I have experienced at least 4 different types of skin cancer in the past 2 years. I have been lucky enough to have caught the more serious melanoma early enough to have it successfully removed, but I was very foolish to avoid skin protection for my entire life. I love your channel as I am very familiar with your area and enjoy your HAPPY OURS.
