This reminds me of being a little girl and my mother helping convert a cardboard box into a wardrobe to hang my Barbie doll clothes in. No shelves, but decorating the box and then pushing a knitting needle through the sides near the top to use as a hanging rod for the dresses.

This is so nice! When I was a child, I’d play kitchen- making a refrigerator and cabinets from cardboard boxes. This is the luxury model!

Just wanted to give you and your subscribers a tip. I work for Chick-fil-A. Anyone can request empty boxes. The ones our dipping sauces come in are incredibly well made and would be perfect for storage projects. Best part is the boxes are free. 😁
I can already see this in a little girls room for dress up or such and for a little boy to keep his little cars etc. Then, fancy another one up for mom and one for dad in the masculine prints or style like any one of your Father’s Day series. The video hasn’t even run yet and I’m super excited 😜! Such a FANTASTIC project.

I dedicate when I can my hour to watch your shares or work on projects. I love these goodies are popping back up. I remember this share. I need to show my daughter. This would be great for her to make for her car. A section for each on of the kids when they have activities. She can have a inexpensive storage for her trunk. She disposed of stuff when not needed. This would be great when activities are over she can dispose of when not needed anymore for the seasons. I love when your fabulous projects pop up. Inquiring minds, and inspirations arise from them. 😊

Oh my goodness. I Don't believe I just came across this video. Mainly because earlier today I started working on a cardboard box to create something very simular.. I live in a Tiny house I am building. And as you can imagine space is very limited so even though I want beautiful decor it must also serve a purpose. I hope mine turns out as wonderful as yours did. Your projects always amaze me. And they are just simply beautiful.

Sherri you have done it again. When I saw the empty shelves I thought of turning the cabinet into a doll’s house. The top two shelves as rooms and the bottom for furniture storage. Can you tell I had daughters ? Now just grandsons and they are grown up. What fun it would be to decorate with beautiful card stock wallpaper. The dollar store even sells doll furniture. Keep up the amazing work.

Thanks Sherry. Great idea and use of a recycle item. A box...how simple and repurposed so beautifully. Thanks for the tutorial and easy how to make instructions that are actually easy to follow. I love the wallpaper choice too. The linen look doesn’t have to be cut like a stripe or pattern so you don’t have to be precisely careful of getting it so straight so it doesn’t look crooked. I used a rolling pin from middle out as I laid my cardboard...it helped I think using a large peice like this project does. :) Fantastic use of a Perfectly Imperfect perfect Box! 👣🐢💚🦄🌈

So much easier to cover with your method! I never would have thought to do it this way! I love that you added the foam board to add strength, again wouldn't have thought of that. I've seen others add more cardboard, but I think foam board would be stronger. I love the wallpaper, I need to find some of that! I love all of your projects! Oh my goodness. 🤔 I see something here.. If I used chipboard, for the shelf/shelves, I could put a shelf 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, and, make a little box drawer under there, &, put a dowel across the top. I could give my great niece an armoire for her American Girl doll, that matches her room. 😁
I love your wall paper. I love the way you made that box look. I have lined boxes before but not like you did. I will try your way. I have plenty of boxes to do that. My mother made a camp cooking box out of an old box kind of like this. She put a couple wood pieces in hers to make it more solid.

This would be great for a bathroom counter.
I can totally do this to put my Tim Holtz products in to get them off my craft table. At the depth of your box, it won’t take up too much space. An Organizer from any online place is cost prohibit e. Thanks, Sherri.

I have 4 boxes with drawers from my invisalign braces. I covered them, added a couple of dividers in each. They are great for ephemera, etc.

Excellent......that's why I enjoy making stuff from cardboard boxes, they turn out strong, durable and hopefully pretty by the end of it all. I enjoy painting them too with acrylic paints when I make tiny little barrel bags to hold a lipstick and mirror :) xx God Bless............My next attempt is going to be a Christmas train set, I think the trickiest part will be the rails but I'm looking forward to challenging myself :)

Thank you for sharing this Sheri, I love this idea for storage! Im thinking making a bunch with the shipping boxes I have to double the storage within my free standing kitchen cupboards and in my craftroom for added storage to maximise the negative space that I could be taking advantage of! This is also a great alternative for renters like me who find we have to move around as they would be much easier to move and nothing to detach from walls which then have to be fixed before moving out.
