I honestly think you're better at explaining heavy games than Gaming Rules, thank you very much for all your work! Would you dare to do a video for On Mars ? :p
Great explanation of the game. I’ve watched many for Pax Pamir but this is the best one. Short and to the point plus your recommendations for a winning strategy!!! Thank you 😀
Oh my god, I have this game since forever but can't find anyone to play with. I'm more than happy than seeing you cover this. Would like a solo explanation video since my head can't seem to grasp the automa!
Solo rules will come over the weekend. 😉 I want to keep it separate as it really is a beast. 😄 Took me a few solo games to understand all the nuances so now I'm ready to make the video.
This video made me buy the game, you are always my reference to watch learn to play since I discovered your Barrage video, hopefully you cover kanban ev. Nice work :D
We've made a TOP25 games of all time (only in Slovak language), and I can spoil the things a bit - Pax Pamir 2 is my No 1!! 😊 Love it so much! Kanban EV in on my list, so (hopefully) in January the video will be out. :)
Thank you! :) I will have the second edition (or rather Deluxe Edition) of Pax Renaissance early next year, and then the plan is to do Pax Emancipation. Then I want take a look at Pax Transhumanity, but that's mid-year next year.
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell What are your thoughts on Renaissance? Is it similar to Pamir or a completely different game? I've seen the second edition and it looks great. Thanks in advance.
Question please…after a successful dominance check, how are there still ruling regions as there are no more armies on the board? Shouldn’t all those tribes be moved off the ruling disks? Or do they still rule the regions? Thank you.
Hi Branislav. I found a copy of the first edition for $50 shipped. I don’t find any copies of the second edition less than $100 shipped. Should I just go for the first edition then? Can I just play the rules of the second edition with the materials from the first edition? Thanks in advance, Jonathan
Hi Jonathan, the 1st edition is a completely different game. Almost every component has been adjusted in the 2nd edition, so I wouldn't say you can take the 1st edition and play it using the 2nd edition rules. They're very different. Now, if you look at my last list of top50 games of all times, you will find Pax Pamir 2nd Ed. as my No 1. 😊 And it is very likely that it will stay there in my new list, too (coming out in September!). Is it worth 100$+ price tag? For me, absolutely yes. If you think you (and your gaming group) are going to like it, don't hesitate. ☺️ I have played it over 30 times by now and can't get enough. Deep, strategic, interactive... just perfect. :)
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell That’s why I became interested in the game, because I saw it was your #1 all time game. Thank you for taking the time to write such detailed responses 🙏🏼
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell How do you like the game? I'm not sure I've seen it on your top 50 list. I love Pax Pamir so I wanted to check out John Company as well.
I like it a lot but I haven't played enough games to put it in my TOP50. It's not for everyone and it has a lot of rules but it's a fantastic desing. I'm really curious how it changed for the 2nd edition. If it's improved like Pax Pamir 1 to Pax Pamir 2 then JC2 will be in my TOP 10! :)
😄 Well, it seems like I have to get them produced in some bulk quantities! 😄 Let me think about it. :) This is a "prototype" and apparently the tailor did a great job, and hopefully he'll be able to produce more. :)
It is a rare gift to be able to explain complex games as clearly as you do. Fantastic
Thank you. ☺️
A very professional and helpful video. You make this complex game much more accessible. Many thanks.
The best tutorial about Pax Pamir out there. Very thorough. Our team from Poland is a big fan of your videos. Kudos to our Slavic friend 😊
Thank you so much! ☺️
Thank you for making this tutorial. It helped me with putting the rules together and increased my comprehension.

Re: On Mars - Yes I would 😄, but Paul already did a tutorial and my schedule is full until October anyway. 🙂
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell I know, I know, I was just being greedy :) Again, thank you for all your great work!
Best how to play for this game by far
I appreciate how much time went into making this video, one of the best if not the best rules explanation! Thanks for sharing these!
Thank you so much. ☺️
Thanks for that great explanation. I was very lost, after we saw another one, but now, we are ready to go.
Just received my copy. Thanks for the fantastic rules overview, well put together with easy to understand examples. Truly excellent.
Thank you.
Thank you for making such a clear video.
Thank you. Super clear and I really appreciate the section at the end on what's not in the rulebook. 👌
Thank you. :)
Very good explanation, thank you! Appreciate the gameplay advice in the end, makes all the rules click together.
Thank you. :)
Your tutorials are terrific! Kudos on a job well done.

Tribes are not removed from the map, only armies and roads. A majority of tribes still rules a region.
Purchase Action: does the market get refilled immediately after a player's turn?
The market only gets refilled at the very END of the player's turn. (So, after the player takes all their actions for that turn.)
