21:34 According to rulebook (page 11) you need to spend the movement token not only have it: "a payment in Movement tokens," (where next point says"the possession of a specic type of Invention cards," to indicate, that in this case payment is not needed).

Great tutorial, very concise as always. A rule was overlooked about completing objectives when performing a quick action. If an objective requires a particular number of icons from invention cards, you cannot use ‘joker’ tokens (which I believe have now been renamed to wild tokens) to achieve these.

At 19:20, you mentioned that the bonus action let's you take a basic invention card from the display or the top of the deck. But the bonus action is described in the rulebook on page 11 as: "Take 1 Basic Invention card from the top of the deck and add it to your hand."
So are you sure the bonus action allows you to take a card from the display?

You can take only top of the deck. You take cards from the display only develope a project action or gain project points.

Great job with the tutorial, thank you. This game looks really nice. The visuals maybe misleading, but it seems to be serious euro with nice depth.

Yes, it looks quite friendly, but it feels the same weight as Darwin's Journey - maybe a bit less punishing than Lorenzo or Grand Austria Hotel.

Question about resolving missions. I notice that the special abilities at the bottom of the player board are colour coded brown and silver, just like the brown and silver mission cards. Makes me think that when you resolve a mission on a brown card, you can only take a cube from one of the 'brown' coloured special abilities on the player board (same for silver). But in the rules explanations I've seen, folks have been saying that you can take *any* cube from the player board. Which is it?

Page 14... brown cubes can be placed on any missions. Grey cubes can only be placed on grey missions.

One victory point because you participate
Another one victory point based on how much you enjoy this game out of 10
Another 1 Victory point because you are a good guy
1 victory point for each victory point you get
Another 1 victory point for just take it dont question
And player with most victory point gets a victory point
Why these games gives you Victory points because you just exist 😅😅😅😅

I have a question, could you please help me solving it. In a two player game there are 3 empty spaces on the second and third objective cards (on each card one or two spaces are covered by the disk of a colour not present during play). But according to the rules you can place only one disc of your colour on each of the game objectives. So what is the purpose of the fourth empty slot on the second and third objective cards in a 2-player game if nobody could place their marker there? Unfortunately I don't see any mechanical purpose there, am i missing somtheing?

Hello, apologies for a later response - when I got the game at Essen they also gave me one sheet of paper with these setup changes. I think the purpose is to make a bigger difference in points for completing these objectives. And I think the game only comes with one card for each objective, and they didn't want to print a different set for 2p games or 3p games.
So, in a 2p game, if both players fulfill the objective, if there's still any empty space it's because there's no reason to place another non-player disc on that space, because no other player can fulfill it. It's that simple, no need to look for any hidden reason. :)

Game spoiled by alchemist. (my family is not into magic or magical processes... I wished they kept the game clean for families)

You do realize that alchemy is not magic, right? It was basically early chemistry.

    How did you like it?

      @nithrania-gameinanutshell  10 месяцев назад +4

I liked it a lot! Multiple paths to victory, multiple strategies, but it's easy to explain and grasp, and the most important - it was so much fun to play. Definitely one of the best games of this year for me.
