Heard this at a Van Gogh exhibit in Tokyo just today. Unreal stuff.
I decided to perform this song live as a slow piano cover & my friend who got too drunk came up on stage & tried singing background vocals which wasn't even necessary in the first place. You can imagine how that went down.

The album is titled “Aromanticism”, and according to Moses himself, it is meant to challenge the necessity of romance. As someone who is aromantic, it hits hard. It asks, “if I don’t fall in love, am I worth anything?” Romance is placed on such a high pedestal in our society that many people are afraid to be single, or see a lack of romance as something to be fixed. So for people who simply don’t experience romantic attraction, what does that mean for us? If we can’t fall in love romantically, are we still of value? Or are we doomed?
This song is amazing but I have to say that the album version is unbeatable. Far deeper and more powerful.
