my favorite railway car whether pulled by diesel or running electric was the ny central series built after ww2 and running into the 50's, I remember the wicker seats and a ride as smooth as what metro north is running today. There's so many great Engines, each has a story 😊

Thank you for posting this. However I am very surprised they didn't keep the Pierce Arrow V-12 engines in them

Remember, the RGS bought the Pierce Arrows as highly used. The engines needed to be replaced at some time.

These machines predate the Pierce V12. It was not cost effective to keep using the original engines.

The GMC truck engine is actually 1929 Buick engine. Surprised they haven’t been fitted with Cummins diesels.

same engine as the later American LaFrance engine used in fire engines until not all that long ago...lots of those out there.

In Victoria Canada we have a former railroad turned into a popular walking and biking trail called the Galloping Goose Trail named after that railbus truck I rode it on my bike many times since the 1990's

That's not a Jagdpanther, it's a Panther tank... with a turret, not the casement fighting compartment of the Jagdpanther. And the "J" should be pronounced more like a "Y" and the "d" mostly silent. But other than that, it's a nice little video about ... ... railcars. hmm.

Why are the galloping geese "extravagant"? You made this claim, but failed to explain.
