This is just a budget friendly machine and not the newest and best. It is a very good and capable laptop. You can also have a look at the 13th gen version of this and if the price is right for you, rather get that.

The i3 will work but I will rather suggest an i5 or i7 for rendering. If you don't mind the wait the i3 will do it just fine.
