Fun Fact! The AMX CDC has worse terrain resistances than the Maus, E 100, IS-7, T-57 Heavy, IS-4, and 60TP!

it was a shit tank from the beginning, okeyish gun but derpy, big, no armor, great mobility but that's all. Was my first prem, my most played too and oh boi i suffered
@@paracelse2983 back when it was introduced every tier 8 MT was terrible though. Like, you could go to any other class for better tanks. There was also some thought in the community that the pref MM of the FCM and it's extra survivability was a better alternative since they had similarish roles.
So it was "meta" for a time but really only for people who loved speed and flanking, otherwise it was pretty meh and inflexible.
It was decent for climbing mountains
Back in the good old days when MM was crap and arty could nuke same tier heavies with one shot.

Recently I played CDC and met vz 55 on the med line. After the meeting, in the very first minutes of the battle, I had 200HP left. GG -> ALT+ F4 -> Uinstall -> RELIEF !

The CDC should be like a leo on t8. To make up for the armor and the size, the gun has to be legendary.
320-360 alpha. 230+ AP pen with 1.2-1.3K velocity. This tank needs a better gun to work, along with better soft stats.
90 km/h top speed, double barrel 750 alpha damage Grille 15's gun, with Obj 140's gun hundling should be enough to fix CDC

Let's be honest, Progetto 46 makes every other 240 alpha MT obsolete. There's no fix to that problem. Maybe unless WG decided to buff certain MTs to Panther 88's level of DPM.
Th eonly way to make the CDC worthy is either by massively increasing the DPM as you said to the level of the Panther 8.8 or to give it the gun of the AMX30 and make the CDC a TD. It's absolutely obsolete compared to the Revalorize, EVEN90 and, above anything else, the Bourrasque.
@@juanjodpr Or give it an auto-reloader since the tank historically had an Auto-assisting rammer like the T-58 (the one that almost was the t110e4).

I always liked the CDC and did well in it even before it was buffed. I play it like a light tank, quick spots, moving around, shoot and scoot. Since I know it has almost no armor I am very careful in it. Its a tank that you have to stay on your toes with. You really need to constantly pay attention to where you are and how to run away at a moments notice. I find it is a fun tank to play.

The amount of CDCs I 1 shot with my Type 4 and Type 5 in the past was simply obscene. It was completely retarded how weak the tank was...and it still is. It's an insult WG refuses to transform this tank into a TD with the gun of the AMX30, it's completely obsolete against the Bourrasque, the Revalorize and even the EVEN-90.
I remember when this tank was coincidered good. Actually it was also the last time I can remember the game was coincidered good 😂
There's probably not that many lights in higher tiers atm because of the Strv K marathon - a lot of the missions for mastery need you to do damage (3500/4000)
No, there are simply more lights in lower tiers. The tree to heavy tank T57 Heavy is throught a light, then a medium and then a heavy. At one point T71 was my most played tank (over 1.5k games) because i discovered it before I discovered other tanks, higher tiers and actual heavy tanks.
light tanks are hardest to play well. I have 19k games and I will admit tds heavies and meds are way more easier to play.. hat down to LTs
You all forgot they nerfed arty so spotting is half useless.
This tank needs MUCH more buffs to be relevant
Tbh, I've had so much fun with the cdc today. Yes it can get deleted very easily, but the mobility with turbocharger is amazing and the gun is just a blessing imo. Leopard at tier 8 :)
With that low alpha it should have 5 seconds base reload time, could be a fun gun to play then.
They are just buffing it barely, for people who already have it, they know no one will spend money on this, just a little quality of life improvement

In my opinion people realized that light tanks in high tiers are not competitive, because the maps where they can be relevant are very limited and a medium can do the same things but better other than having camo while moving

cdc is like a Subaru when you drive it you just want to listen to the engine.
How to fix the tank? Either make alpha like 360, or turn it into complete sniper with really small dispersion and fast aim time

240 alpha meds are just bad these days unless they have a clip or incredible dpm. three choices, turn it into a 90mm lorraine, give it a 100mm, or give it DPM like the panther 88/kpz rh 07

They should've buffed it's reload. Like skill setup is 5,8 sec but it should be like 4.3

It could have been very decent and interesting tank if:
- Turret front armor would exist so at least 6-7lvl could not penetrate it easily
- Downsize. It should be the same size as Borrasque for example, not the E100 size. Because if you get spotted, your full HP often disappears within a second, exactly because of the size and 0 armor turret
as far as i remember that i saw wg video about cdc being first released into the premium shop that it was the size of the maus but speedier.
All in favor of always getting a double dose of daily skeeeeeel

My recent CDC games with the "mild buff" were on par with my "better" tanks. Maybe people don't respect you enough in the CDC :) I did feel that the pre-buff CDC would wildly miss aimed shots far too often.
I remember when this tank was a EBR it was a super fast tank with great mobility a able to get in position super fast and farm damage with great gun depression and pulling back before any one could react. The good old days.
With the new slot system, im using my CDC like spotter/scout
i almost got 2k battles in the cdc still my favourite tank you can really punish those who ignore you in this tank
I got my CDC when it was one of the best premium aveilable... those days are so far beind now that i barely remember them... What do you think that CDC needs to become a decent Medium again?
I believe that at the very least more top speed and better terrain resistances across the board will be needed... But probably the gun need to be a litle better too

My Poor Child CDC has been power creeped so bad. I miss the WOT days when tanks like CDC and Panther 8.8 were decent tanks
I just found the AMX CDC available in the in-game store (just grabbed it).
Tank would be a lot more fun if it had a three or four shot autoloader. Keep the mag reload down but give it the feel of the french
CDC has a special place in my heart. I absolutely love it really enjoy playing it.
I find this tank to be a slightly superior version of the FCM 50t.
FCM 50t is basically this tank, but with VERY slightly better front plate, but a much larger profile and significantly slower.
FCM 50t is one of the older premiums I wish the absolute most that they would buff, because it's near worthless today.
For me CDC is very good after buff. Now we are able to do snap shots, can show ourselves just for a while, shot, hide. Armour? You dont need it. Does leopard has armour? No, but still this tank is enjoyable. CDC gives fun, a lot and it gives a lot of credits. I like this tank. Battles 3k dmg+ are very often now

disgusting....horrible monday with cdc, the buffs made the tank more specialized in peek a boo.
TBH The CDC has great acceleration, great accuracy and drive like a Ferrari. The gun pen and damage suck and the paper armor is it's downfall. Not remotely the worst tank in WoT
It's biggest problems have always been its absolutely terrible ground resistances due to being by far the lightest tank with the biggest engine back then, and of course that it has gun handling that is balanced around what the game was 6 years ago

The tank isnt bad, the maps are. Imagine this tank in a map like Northwest, or Windstorm. Now try playing CDC in maps like Studzianki or Pilsen, or even Berlin. Skills team on Berlin steamrolled so it doesnt count. Point is, tanks like CDC and Ravioli used to be relevant because you could go sneeki breeki on older maps. New maps are symmetrical where you cant go anywhere except use your turret and spam prem.
I don't mind having thin armour as I have SKKKILLL :)

At least it looks like the tank is mobile enough in the current meta.
What I hate the most is tanks that are freaking slow.
Being mobile gives you more time to play and stay alive longer in games ,wich means more time to shoot more shells.
And also you can leave flanks easy to fall back when your side is weaker.
Compared for example with a t28prot.
The T28prot is like , choose the wrong flank --> all tanks on your side get wrecked --> you arrive too late for the party but too slow to fall back --> shoot one time and get wrecked by half the red team.
Cdc doesnt look too bad , alpha is quite low but thats it. Doesnt look like a unplayable shitter.
Higher tiers have more tanks with excellent view range, sometimes much better than light tanks. Making light tanks obsolete.
Seriously no point playing light tanks on high tiers.
I played CDC the other day to try it out again and it is just a horrible tank.

Tbh skill I think you are wrong. The CDC wasn't ever meta. It was a decent tank when it came out but there were better ones then as well. Now I feel like they brought it back to that decent state.
