I have to say that was well done. I actually liked this first pilot-attempt -- a bit slow paced, and of course, the stunts were low-key as the producers were basing the character on her 1968 - '72 comic book incarnation of 'Diana Prince Wonder Woman,' when Diana gave up her super powers to become, essentially, an Emma Peal-James Bond type secret agent with agility, martial arts prowess, etc. Loved the costume too -- the placement of the eagle and the lasso-belt were rather clever. Well done!
Okay, I'm not a huge fan of the Cathy Lee Crosby tvm, and the final CBS version of the Lynda Carter theme is my least favorite arrangement. BUT.... somehow combining those two into this creative and respectful opening title sequence makes both work so much better! And that opening teaser scene is inspired!

And I don’t remember anyone ever actually referring to her as Wonder Woman in the film. But this editing is action packed! Great job indeed.
Peter Graves I enjoyed the TV movie but never understood why they gave us Judo WW and not the classic WW. Cathy’s version was still intriguing and felt a little mysterious at times.

I'm happy thinking of Cathy's version as an 'Elseworlds' member & was so stoked 2 C both her & the TV Wonder Girl finally make cameo appearances in the mainstream DCU epic: "Infinite Crisis".
A similar character to Cathy's WW appears in Infinite Crisis #6 - along with a similar character to Debra Winger's Drusilla - they are from Earth-462. Another similar character appears in Wonder Woman '77 digital chapter 4 - "Who Is Wonder Woman," and subsequent print edition Wonder Woman '77 Special #1. Satin Tights Absolutely LUV the "WW '77" books! Have all the collected editions including the crossovers w/"Batman '66" & "Bionic Woman". They are clearly written for/by fans of those TV shows! I hope DC gets around to producing an animated special while Lynda can still do the voicing.

And there's no indication from producers that they were reconsidering CLC: For the new pilot-movie, they were clearly going for actors who closely resembled the comic book character.

I found Lynda Carter to always be fake and everyone knows that she ruined the show causing the rift between her and Lyle Waggoner who is a very nice guy. Yes I am aware of the many merchandise of the costumed Wonder Woman, but most look very ugly and unattractive. So why did Wonder Woman LOSE to Storm in the DC versus Marvel crossover in 1996? That's because Wonder Woman was a loser making MARVEL the winners. This is a FACT and recorded in history now and cannot be changed. STORM is a better role model and she does not wear a skimpy ridiculous costume running around like a vixen. No, Cathy was a better actress, this is why she got the part FIRST. And her costume is sensible rather than looking ridiculous. The Gal Gadot Wonder Woman is better than the previous versions because she can actually act.
