Crashed in to some morning wood 🤨 just had to squeeze out some🔀 logs😖 🤯 lucky u didn't go flying full speed later in the day a bit dehydrated and sluggish!
Ah here is it where Mista Ed is! Been missing his voice on Kerr's LSD from Snow Shoe - seeing what a brutal massacre the track there is, Eddie did good on that decision! 😅
The Howler climb suuuucks. But it's an awesome trail. Other big pedal laps: Green Monster, Jaws, Zanarchy to Gargamel (for that one you have to climb past Howler hahaha)
hook up with metallier or barrelli and go get some...... also it's been a while but PHD is solid fun, but short.....- you might need a ride out there though. Also - you could try lord of the Squirrels for a good long pedal and descent - nice alpine ride brother! Starts out in Function Junction.
fuck i miss that place... lived there for 10 months for the end of a summer and a snow season, i wish i rode more then just the bike park... :S but 10 years ago enduro wasnt really a thing we all just had DH bikes
I dunno man - Bernies snow shoe vids are insane - that track is Lethal. Still love this one too - loving the content for all the MTB gang. I'd probably get a lot more done if it wasn't for all this amazing MTB content!
So I missed the intro and didnt know what caused the tumble. When the logs came up, I thought for a second they line the outside of the corner, split second later realized "no they dont! Is he going to bunnyhop those..!?" Nature and coincidence come up with sinister pitfalls 😬
“If you had a non dialled kit it would be so rough”….. “I need new grips”…. It really was hard to see on video where the tracks went, the logs and bare rock chaos masked the actual trail because everything was that grey rock colour… different colour tinted lenses might help…. hope everyone makes it out of this round alive…. How about Ed almost gunning it into the logs too because he thought you were videoing. Check the weather, check the local trail report….. part of the checklist now? Hope your wrist is hunky dorey.
Trails are amazing, huh Jack? ;-) Was wondering how you didn't manage to stop in time, so had to watch it back and then realised it was a corner, so :-\ Hope the wrist isn't too bad. If you're booking it on new trails you don't know with lots of trees, that's a big possibility unfortunately, think that maybe you need to practice the pre-ride, re-ride, then free-ride thing 😆 That last track(s) were insane, SO good. Still think you need to get one of the chin bar mounts for your camera, think the angle is a bit nicer as you should also get in the cockpit and maybe a tad more stable. Also curious which camera you're using, know it was dark in there that early, but still seems like it was suffering quite badly in low light.
Unfortunately all gopros will perform that poorly with stabilization in low light. While they have made huge improvements with stabilization on each new one, that's only at the upper end of shutter speed. Once that shutter speed has to drop down and the iso gets cranked in the low light, you may as well have stabilization turned off. Chin mount will definitely help with that as you've mentioned
Good to see Mista Ed on set💪🏼.
20:41 I slapped my own head cause I have PTSD from high-mountain mozzies
Finally back with fans favorite guest Mista Ed
Meestarrrr Edddddddd

Check out zanarchy into Gargamel if you like steeps. Bit of a pedal up but a pretty wild old school descent.
Moi moi TV 🤘
Moi Moi tv fans are big Ed Masters fans.
This is more fun than Bernards Snowshoe vid :) haha. You and Ed should swap bikes for a run and compare notes

Ride the green monster. It's a small climb to the trailhead.
