Maxxis for sure stick well in warm temperatures but try them in the cold. Below freezing they go hard and lose grip but Conti's stay soft 👍 Not likely to be much of a problem on your local tracks mind 😄
Tested tires last year, contis were overall best but also lasted forever. More braking traction and cornering is nuts, wish they did different compounds on each casing. Maxxis always feels more vague, and conti is like a knife in the dirt but a bit skiderry on rock, think that's the fresh taller knob compromise
i've ridden all 3. vittorias roll well and are great in dry conditions, but i don't like them in the wet. mazza on the fron, aggaro on the rear, trail casing. wet roots get scary, maxxis assegai and conti kryptotal, even schewalbe magic marry, felt better on that.
Love to see my favorite rider testing Conti's and cool to see and hear the same things I found in my comparison. The grip and rolling speed from the trail version is amazing but I love the grip and compliance of the DHR II. The ride is noticeably harsher on the Trail/Endurance compounds but the free speed makes it worth it since they still grip like digging claws into the trail. Next I'll try the Conti's in the Eduro soft compounds. My only issue with the trail casing has been QC, I had to order 3 rears and two fronts to get a good set that didn't wobble. I'm hoping its a QC issue with tires made in China and maybe the Enduro and DH are the ones made in Germany.
Soft compounds are not that durable whatever way you put it, they are also more expensive... It's the first thing you should aim for if ur looking for sponsorships 😂
I find the conti's lay over angle in the flatter corners arent great. Have preferred the Maxxis. Also if a tyre doesnt wear out it is clearly to hard. The conti's have great straight line grip but but the big knobs will do that.
Was old mate talking about jordy from fox set up techniques ? Because I’ve gone off some of his specs and found his settings were over damped for me as well.
love it when you slap a GoPro on a buddy’s lid here n there, keeps the vids fresh as ur merch

Ever tried the Conti cross king tyre?
@@zwtvchannel No, heard they’re fast, I was testing enduro tires. Liked Barzos front, kenda booster rear, back in xc days
I’ve been on double argotal’s for a year and a half and they’re still incredible
Love my Vittoria Mazza tyres, never felt comfortable on maxxis
I am running those this year! Front and back I really want to ride the conti’s tho

Boys were rapid through those trails

3c maxx grip fall apart too easy? Contis don’t.
don't think that's his problem, even conti don't last on rocks
@@TheMTBRider96 MaxxTerra on the rear does the job!

Assegai front Kyrptotal rear then
big bike great for training those tight corners
MAXXIS may have to develop new tech in sidewalls have best off both
That's the new YT Tues. When you say big bike.
Kept Assegai front and replaced DHRII at the back with the Conti. Very pleased. Will be hard to give up the Assegai’s tho’.
love the contis on my ibis, still got the stock maxxis too for backup.
Do a q n a about hardline mate. Keen to know more about the event
Love the contis, soo much grip but yea pretty stiff sidewalls, was running surprisingly low pressures and never had an issue with them too.
Which continental kryptotal are you running? Enduro or Dh, soft or super soft compound
I just got my Tues core4 last year, still a great ride and yet I will probably want the new one. Any pre-order deals coming?
I'd love to see a Maxxis front, Conti rear set up...uncaged to the max!
So... What's the verdict? Assegai up front? with Conti at the rear? Give us the answer
Goodyear Newtons!
u dudes were rippin it

You need Schwalbe Tires, in this company are a lot of crazy bike freaks und mountain biking ist their life🤘💪
Rucksack Bike’s looking rad Bro’🎉
I have shwabes and hate them they came oem and I miss my old contis 😢
Where is Steve-O? Mr Lizard Lipz has been MIA this whole off season…..
Yes indeed, we need Steve_O. Is he coming to Awaba?
As an average joe rider I prefer Kryptotal over Maxxis but they are both very good. Assagai is a great front.
Kryptotal FR more accurate than Minion DHF for me, I was surprised how nice the Contis are. Xynotal good rear tire.
@@seanoneil277 Ive got one of them ready for summer (Europe)
yeah I got the kryptotals and love them@@seanoneil277
