I just had a thought..... is it possible that Michael as a child (before murdering his sister) was a massive Trekkie?!?!? Maybe somehow had a breakdown during an episode, and thought his sister, and everyone in Haddonfield are aliens posing as people that if he speaks to he dies, and to save Haddonfield he must kill them all? Meaning that's why he's obsessed with that mask, cause he always wanted to be Kirk saving the Universe...
The fact that he's in his 90s just blows me away! This guy is like he's in his 50s unbelievable

His dermatologist and possibly a cosmetic doctor have done such a stunning job of with his Botox, fillers, face lift and probably also hair transplant and/or long-term use of Propecia to prevent hair loss (it's a common medication used by men in the entertainment industry). I haven't seen his face in years so the moment I started watching the video it became clear to me that he's done some cosmetic stuff that was done very well so as to not make him look plastic or like those women who go hard on the cosmetic treatments and procedures. I wish men especially in the entertainment industry were more open about it because the stigma around men using skincare, makeup, and cosmetic procedures really needs to go away. Betty White is someone looking younger than their age, she'll be 100 in January.

He sounds phenomenal too. No sign of mental confusion, must have been eating right his whole life.
I thinks it’s his genetics among other things like living clean and practicing emotional well being, yes there is such thing.
He's much different than he was in the past then he wouldn't talk about Star Trek if you remember get a life but not he's much happier now and open .

I love that these interviews are uploaded. TV, especially live is so rushed. This gives us a better interview all around. Jake should never be limited during his interviews. He's a master of his craft and should be treated as such.

Remember when they had him play an old man in the episode of Star Trek called 'The Deadly Years' when they aged fast. His character was around 72 then and he looked so old and feeble. Now he's 90 and still looks, behaves and acts like a spring chicken lol.

Not really, they could have picked any mask (clown was runner up). William wasn't their main pick plus they were in a rush for mask. They heavily modified the mask anyways in the end. That's why he's not getting any royalties.

My grandfather is 91 & they both move around the same & look the same. These people lived in such healthier times. I can only imagine if my grandfather had millions of dollars how much better off he would be. But his secret is that NOTHING bothers him. The house could burn down & he would say "It's just a house."
So if i want to go out on halloween as captain kirk, but i don't get no captain kirk mask, i'll be still legit if i wear a michael myers mask.

He is such a humble, nice, intelligent and wonderful man!
William shatner has talked about the Halloween mask, and he says when he was first told about it he thought that they were joking, and that when he first saw it he realized that it was based on a bust that was made for him for Star Trek, like a mold of his face or something, that they did so that they could build prosthetics for him when he wasn't there whenever the show wanted him to look evil or get a store whatever they were doing that week, and at some point that was turned into a mask or something ? I don't know if that's true, but he thinks so.
I am tremendously dumbfounded, how is this man in his 90’s looking like that with that energy?
I have always enjoyed William Shatner as Kirk, and always have I loved the Star Trek series in general, but none compare to the original episodes, both live and animated. I'm gonna miss William Shatner when he's gone. Seeing him like this from time to time is like seeing Robin Williams on my RUclips feed.
I think the film production company should give William shatner royalty's just for using his image in Halloween 😂😂😂😂
I heard that the Micael Myers mask was based on the mask he had to wear in Devil's Rain.

Wish I could say a few words to him and that would be thank you for all the memories and for inspiring us in our future space travels..You gave young kids the inspirations to come up with technology that was only science fiction that is now becoming a fact and one day someone will set in the seat I’m sure of the first functioning USS Captain Kirk …Our future is what we make it so let’s make it a good one ☝️…😀😀😀

He must forget there was legal stuff that happened and they were told to stop it. That's why the other halloween movies' masks didn't look like the shatner mask.
the recent movies look just like Shatner, it's because they couldn't recreate that goof until thr most recent movies.
Everybody ages differently for some of us it's sooner some of its later some of us it's much later but age is going to punch you in the face father time is undefeated but God bless this remarkable man anyway.

“Life mask” (not "Death mask") is the term Shatner is looking for in his fascinating description of the origins of the Meyers “Halloween mask”.
It’s common practice to create a plaster core (positive) casting of an actor’s face to then make prosthetic make-up fx, prop heads, etc. The fact that he recognized it as that particular life-cast session is pretty amazing! And yes, likely someone used said old StarTrek lifecasting to then make a “Captn. Kirk” Halloween mask which Debra Hill, Carpenter, and Co bought, spray painted white, and cut the eye holes bigger for “Halloween”.

@@CassandrashadowcassMorrison I know you’re just playing around, but the term “lifemask” is reserved for the make-up fx industry where as the ANCIENT term “deathmask” is something done by morticians throughout history to commemorate a famous corpse before it goes in the ground.
Big difference.
My opinion is that Meyers is “The Boogy Man” and that’s enough mythology for all those LUCRITIVE sequels (which mostly sucked, especially Rob Zombie’s abortion of a remake).
I would give anything to get William Shatner to sign a Michael Myers mask.
