Bought a used 15PM from my best friend for $650 with 87% battery health. I then sold my 13 PM for $400 so I only spent $250 for a 15PM then I put a new battery in it so I am starting like a new phone! So $350 out of pocket is a deal of the century!
Honestly I’d say that the 16 Pro Max isn’t worth it if you have the 15PM since we have like 95 percent of the 16PM already. From what it sounds like Apple Intelligence is gonna get spoon fed to us in updates over the next year so maybe it’ll be complete when the 17 series comes out.
Next year you’re going to say “if you keep your iPhone for a couple of years, just spend a couple hundred bucks and buy the 17 Pro Max…” If people have 15 Pro Max and they upgrade every few years then why would you give such advice? If you guys can afford then why not, but if you can’t and you have a 15 Pro/Pro Max do not upgrade in any way. Upgrade only if you have an older iPhone like 13 Pro Max, because even the 14 Pro Max is fast and reliable!
Hey Tausif, just curious, did u notice any brightness differnece between 15pm and 16pm? To me i feel like 16PM is bit dimmer than 15 PM at same brightness level. I use my phone at 40% brightness then notice 15PM is brighter. Read at reddit seems lot of users having same feeling , not sure its ios bug or just LG vs Samsung display thing
16pro goes down to 1nit min brightness so I think the scale is just shifted. I also noticed the same thing. Be curious if at max brightness if they are the same , then my theory would be correct.

I have the 15 pro max and I can always get through a day of super heavy use AS LONG AS I DON'T GAME. If I game obviously I will have to charge at some point, but that is to be expected. And sorry bro, but in my opinion upgrading from the 15 Pro Max to a 16 pro max is a really dumb move. The 16 only has 8gb Ram, that is way less than any other flagship. Apple keeps trying to sell a "premium phone" with budget phone specs. I'm not upgrading my 15 pro max until we get at least 12gb ram.

Here is the funny thing, my boss has 16Pro Max and I have 15 pro Max. We put it side to side and we thought it’s the same size !!! lol had no idea The only difference we really noticed was the shutter button for the camera. Even the new Chip couldn’t differentiate the phones between them. The Difference is literally marginal which truly not worth upgrade between them. 16 Pro Max is literally a 15 Pro Max Plus which is not worth the upgrade for 95% of the people.
If there was a case on both phones you can’t tell them apart. I have a 15 Pro Max and my son has a 16 Pro Max which both have Torras cases, can’t tell them apart just by looking at them. The 16 Pro Max Torras case has an opening for the camera control button. He uses that camera button just by enabling the camera then sets the action button to something else. So basically he uses these as two action buttons. The 15 Pro Max is compatible with Apple Intelligence so no need to upgrade to a 16 Pro series. Oh, Torras cases are the shit.

Well no you should not upgrade for at least 4 years, phones have peaked and every year is a small upgrade, I would say upgrade every 3-5 years, hence I know people still using the iPhone 8
I went with the 16 pro max because of the battery life and thermals as when Apple Intelligence fully rolls out I am going to need that difference as if I want to do a lot of Gen image processing that’s going to take a lot of juice and make my iPhone hot for longer and I don’t mean in a good way.
You said 6.5 and 6.7, it’s 6.7 15 PM to 6.9 16 PM I went from 15 PM to 16 PM for better battery and thermal, my 15 PM battery is still terrible maybe heat has something to do with it, the camera controls is only useful for quick camera access nothing else, the on screen controls are much better and quicker IMO

Just switched over from Android, iPhone 15 pro max is just similar in performance with my wife S24 ultra - it is well build, battery life can be great if u optimise setting correctly. And save few bucks over the hyped iPhone 16 pro max

I traded my iPhone 11 Pro Max for the iPhone 15 Pro Max through Apple and 30 days or so later they came out with the iPhone 16 Pro Max etc. I was dissapointed because I thought I was getting the latest model… I change phones about every 4-5 years….
You have to remember September, every year, Apple releases an iPhone. So if and when you’re ready to upgrade, keep that in mind.
15 pro max is the best phone. You get all the ai features + 120 hz for way cheaper than a 16 pro max

Well no you should not upgrade for at least 4 years, phones have peaked and every year is a small upgrade, I would say upgrade every 3-5 years, hence I know people still using the iPhone 8
I went with the 16 pro max because of the battery life and thermals as when Apple Intelligence fully rolls out I am going to need that difference as if I want to do a lot of Gen image processing that’s going to take a lot of juice and make my iPhone hot for longer and I don’t mean in a good way.

I went from 15 PM to 16 PM for better battery and thermal, my 15 PM battery is still terrible maybe heat has something to do with it, the camera controls is only useful for quick camera access nothing else, the on screen controls are much better and quicker IMO

Just switched over from Android, iPhone 15 pro max is just similar in performance with my wife S24 ultra - it is well build, battery life can be great if u optimise setting correctly. And save few bucks over the hyped iPhone 16 pro max

$1199 ahhahaha I wish it was $1199 I ended up getting a case screen protector and my arse got up sold apple care. Ended up paying $1700 for iPhone 16 pro max. What’s even more crazy is that apples cost to manufacture the iPhone is $10 😂
