    I bought this cd in the mid late 90s . I downloaded it to my pc and mp3 I have been listening to this album for about 20 years and will listen to it for 20 more.

    I am ridiculously discriminatory when it comes to trance. I get almost zero stimulation from contemporary music & minus zero for what’s now considered “trance”. This album from OM however makes up for all that and then some. The sheer originality is quite awe inspiring. A Magnum Opus that’s 30 years old FFS but that’s inescapably timeless . I would happily depend solely on this album alone for all my limited forays into trance. And it does “what it says on the tin”. Instant Enlightenment. Thank you for this priceless gift ❣️☪️

    Tetsu Inoue contributed to this album!? My goodness, I love how things like that just click into place.

      one can hear his typical fingerprints all over this album... so sad he drifted into drone-ambient - and then into nowhere actually. dennis ferrer, which he did this album with, shortly after went into rather housy stuff, where he actually became quite a name end of the 90's/beginning of 2000...

      what you hear here on this album is rather tesu inuoe all over. not so much dennis anyway... i was hoping so intense that at least one of them would continue with this great style... sadly not the case...

    • @broklanders4730
      @broklanders4730 2 года назад

      @@ProBloggerWorld - i'm pretty sure if they would've kept on with this kind of style, they would have made it to a great extent. for whatever reason both gave up too early... i know - easily said. but i'm pretty sure both would have been more successful with this kind of music than dennis with his house stuff and tetsu with his drone music he drifted into in the late 90's...

      @Evil Robot Santa Claus 🎁 💣 💥 indeed - but denis' stuff always had that cheesy cheap clubtrance with an often rather housy vibe to it (in the chord progressions) and not that ambient/early psychedelic goa approach that you can hear all over the place in this album - that's clearly tetsu. listen to "zenith - zenith", "ambiant otaku" or "organic cloud" - you'll instatly hear what i mean.

  • @broklanders4730
    @broklanders4730 2 года назад

    one of tesu inuoe's milestones - no questions. he did three extremely good ambient albums as well - "zenith - zenith", "ambiant otaku" and "organic cloud". from then on he sadly drifted more and more into the abstract drone realm - and eventually into nowhere... since 2007 he is completely missed...

      mmm, I sorta disagree, I think his last albums are overall his best. Inland, yolo, pict.soul, fragment dots are beyond genius in my eyes. I always found his collabs (except the ones with Uwe-datacide + HAT + Masters of psychedelic ambiance + synthetic forest) to dilute the essence of his work. Not a big fan of zenith, doesn't have the "divine spark" :/

    • @broklanders4730
      @broklanders4730 2 года назад

      @@yolo_zen - that is how taste differs. i feel the other way around entirely. but that might be because i don't like that done-stuff - because being a sounddesigner for my living i i know how it is done. it is really easy to do drones and to me the musical value is almost nonexistent. not so with his earlier albums an the the early collab work.
      oh and of course he is (was?) a genius because that drone stuff _can_ be made with a lot of effort, too - it's just that the result is the way i don't like.🤷‍♂️

    • @yolo_zen

      @@broklanders4730 His later albums aren’t anywhere close to drone though, 5/7 are straight up glitch & musique concrete. Well i wouldn’t call myself a sounddesigner, but ive worked with synths for about 5 years (and more with traditional instruments). Sure he moved away from his earlier techno influenced sound into a steadier, more granular and digital territory, but i wouldn’t call it anything close to « basic drone ». The ideas and sound design on fragment dots and pict.soul are truly exceptional, the only reason i got interested in Csound and supercollider.
      But yeah, I agree his later stuff is less ketamine/acidy, and have a more chan buddhist vibe instead. To each their own
