My wife and I bought 2 of these bikes from their IndieGoGo launch and we could not be happier. We took them offroad in the Mojave desert and they handled everything we threw at them. I weigh 185 pounds and was wearing a backpack full of gear, and I briefly got mine up to 37mph on a flat dirt road before pulling back. I'm almost 50 years old, and I don't ever intend to go that fast with this thing very often, but it's nice to know it's got some real power when you need it, Great build quality. I do think the tires are a bit too thin and lightweight for offroad use, and my wife got a flat from driving over some brush. If you're gonna use this bike offroad, I do suggest getting either thicker tubes, thicker tires, or the Tannus tire armour. But overall, we love our bikes so much. People were constantly asking us about them out on the trail. We've been riding ours for 3 months now, and they're doing great.
I couldn't agree more with you, they are fantastic bikes! We mainly got it for my wife, big upgrade from her last ebike but I have found myself riding it alot as well (I mainly ride EUCs) I noticed right away the tube or tire needed to be swapped, very thin but that is what we expected so we were not to disappointed! Our weather is poor right now but we take it out riding every chance we get, such a good quality it makes you want to ride more!
how do you feel about all the people who were ripped off the crowdfund for this bike? Hopefully your wife and you understand your bikes were subsidized by people who were completely ripped off
I got a DEFECTIVE BANDIT X-TRAIL PRO almost a year ago but am UNABLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They do not respond to emails or answer the phone! They even turned off comments on their channel. I wonder why?!
A few things I want to point out is a lot of e-bikes don’t come out of the box with 2 batteries, two motors, suspension, and a multi gear kit for pedaling. The newest model from super 73 comes with just the 10 speed kit and not 2 motors or 2 batteries at a nice cheap price of 5 grand. Seems like a hell of a deal and it goes faster than any e bike I have seen yet. Sweet video man!!!
Thanks man, I appreciate that! We did a ton of research before picking the Bandit. We really could not find anything else close in pricing with the quality, features and function of the X Trail Pro. We were pleasant surprised on the first ride and would happily tell anyone this bike is worth it even at the non sale price!
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on one of these. My questions really are about hills, I live in San Francisco, this is the proving ground for hills, how does it handle on really steep hills, speed etc? Also, I can't find out how much torque it produces. Do you know those numbers? Thanks!
BEWARE OF BANDIT EBIKES: I ordered my X-Trail Pro ebike two weeks ago and have not heard a single word from them. I emailed and got a generic 'Sorry for the long wait!' message. I called and spoke to the guy in their first Short who has an accent - he gave me the run around about "shipping hundreds of bikes out a day and they are catching up" - surprise, surprise, their phone seems to have been disconnected/they are blocking calls. I have called multiple times and the line either cuts out or says it's not available (it used to go to a voicemail - very sketchy) I am planning on charging back my credit card tomorrow and will warn everyone I can about this company (Google reviews, reddit ebike subreddit, ebike forums/discussion boards, etc). When I ordered my bike, I should have been given a timeline for my $3k+ purchase. Radio silence is both disrespectful and unethical business practices. I have a feeling they are advertising without any inventory - the most recent reviews are from MONTHS ago and none since then. Avoid the headache: go get a Talaria or a Mantis - these guys seemed to have fumbled the bag unless I magically get an email or call tomorrow 😂
@@rickeykoga2312 I called bandit yesterday and they picked up the phone immediately. So I'm not getting any of that, I don't work for them, I hadn't heard of them until this year, I'm just doing research on possible purchases and the guy was super cool and informative when I talk to him about the pluses and minuses of that specific model. I would just settle down and not jump to conclusions quite yet, sometimes the small businesses can get overwhelmed, they have one shop. I'd be much more curious about how the bike was and handles and if it handles hills from a dead stop when you get it. Canceling the credit card charge or disputing it might prove to be a headache also. Maybe call Lynn and say you need some absolute clarification or you're going to do it. Like I said, I called one time and they answered easily.
With it having 2 motors it definitely helps dr8ve the bike uphill. I have noticed a little lag depending on how long hill climb is, but not near as bad as a single motor bike. You can also swith which motor you want to use (front, back, or both)
Is there anywhere on the bike where you'd be able to thread a chain lock or u-lock? I want to get this but it seems like the step through version doesn't have anywhere solid to lock to?
I do not believe so, but I am not 100% on that. I have not taken the seat off, 2 of the bolts are blocked by the battery. There is no indication that there is a place for the poll and seat of the lite to be placed if you take the pro seat off.
It’s a 750 watt rear 500 watt front motor putting out their maximum power. When you reach 1,000 miles your motors will be able to only reach 30 mph . We have all been lied to and ripped off!
Wrong, that was the prototypes they let creators review. I thought they were supposed to be a dual 1000w motor release... Guess they opted for the 750w front due to the front kits at 750w being a much cheaper option.

@@wheeliecodyHow do you feel about the x class and the grizzly
lol Super73 buyers have no clue, they pay so much for no name components and subpar performance.
How is it in the rain?
We have never taken it out in the rain, but I could see as long as covering the display so it doesn't get wet you should be fine!!

I see what you are saying there! I think the back wheel would be the best bet for a u-lock or any other type.
@@wheeliecodynot good - someone can easily take the wheel off yes?
@bigtime316 No the wheels do not easily come off. It would be easier to cut the bike lock or chain, yes!
Do you ever take that thing off some sweet jumps?
I do all my own stunts!

Can you send link for the mirrors ?
How to charge the batteries in the frame ? Or take out ?
Can the pro take the lite seat = swap the seat?

If they put a 5th mode on there it should be called “Sweet Jump Mode”
I wanted for hunting but no racks or towing capabilities
@Crayz919 i mean you can hook a trailer to it, I have seen many do so! As for the rack, you can buy an extension rack for the back and mount in to it!
