Making a Handle for the Begode Blitz, to relocate the display
I am using a 3d printer to make a replacement handle for my Begode Blitz electric unicycle! I decided to relocate the display to make the visibility better! I feel like it worked out great. I will be sticking with this set up, most likely will make a stronger better version of the replacement handle!
Thanks for watching 🙌

Welcome to my Channel! Thanks for stopping by!
I got a DEFECTIVE BANDIT X-TRAIL PRO almost a year ago but am UNABLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They do not respond to emails or answer the phone! They even turned off comments on their channel. I wonder why?!
Nobody shows this with street tires. Totally changes specs and whole experience. This type of moped style bike is useless off road.
I wanted for hunting but no racks or towing capabilities
@Crayz919 i mean you can hook a trailer to it, I have seen many do so! As for the rack, you can buy an extension rack for the back and mount in to it!
I put the e-rides lifters on my Blitz and raised them to the highest position ... It really changes the ride feel and gives a lot of clearance. Enjoy!
@@pedro-on-wheels with the higher setting, are you gaining anything other than more clearance?? Better turner, more leverage for acceleration, anything like that??
Are you planning to share the stls and process of moving the screen etc ? It might be useful for the community :)
@deadubed we are currently getting the file uploaded to be shared freely 🙌 Sharing is Caring my friend!! Might be also working on one with the edges already rounded so there will be no burring or sanding!!
@@wheeliecody oh great ! On thingiverse ? Printables ?
I could use this. Then delete the handle entirely, but only if I can keep the screen protected more
@RogueTravel You absolutely could do that! I like where the handle is but wanted the display in a better postion. I also like if I dont want the display on there at all I can remove it but still have the handle!
The thumbnail looked more like one of the ghostbusters ecto tracking devices. Just thought i'd stop by and say that.
@SteelWolf13 🤣🤣🤣 you are absolutely right!! I didnt even notice that, but I dig it Lol!
What is the difference between city grip and pilot Street
I am with you on that. I cant quite get comfortable with those pedals with my larger feet. Especially where those cut outs are on turns. I really wish those cutouts weren't there
They are magnesium? I would just get the hanger if I already had the eride pedals. It's a shame aftermarket pedals are so insanely expensive.
How would you compare the ride at high speeds to your ET max?
@drkchoclatpasion the ET Max is more stable and easier to access the higher speeds! I love how much of a rocket the Blitz is but holding higher speeds is more sketchy than on the heavier wheel!
Haha the vast majority of the complaint is that they decided to stick a display in the handle instead of making it only a handle. Honestly, no modern wheel 20" and above should come without a handle. The OG Sherman should have made sure of that! Way too much use for them!
@drkchoclatpasion Ehh I see the same amount of complaints about the display and the handle placement. A lot of others say it digs into the side of their knee, I don't have that issue and actually like the handle against my leg for extra leverage in turns! Also about the display, how many people are actually looking down at their screen constantly?! I get it, not a good spot at all but hell I don't hardly even try to use my screens when riding and if I want to watch my speed, I have a smart watch that connects to my phone and makes it easier to see instead of looking down! I very much agree, all wheel that reach 30+ I feel should have a front handle!
Does it come with 2 chargers ?
@justinnewton6985 No, just one charger. The second battery does not need a charger, it charges up while you are charging the main battery!
Can you do continuous carving during longer rides without getting sore from handle?
@TurboGlenn i have yet to have this issue where the handle digs in to my leg! I use the handle against my leg when I want to have more to press on during a turn, but other than that it doesn't hit mine or make it sore!
@@wheeliecody Thank you for the info! Glad to hear! Am probably buying one in a few weeks.
@TurboGlenn it is a great wheel, a little left to be desired with the shock but they are definitely on the right path!
@@wheeliecody Really appreciate the info! What range are you getting and at what speeds you ride at? And how much battery left after that? Sorry for all the questions 😅 I see you got the ET Max, how does the range compare on the two?
@TurboGlenn No problem man, happy to help where I can! I normally ride between the 35-45mph mark regularly, but I do tend to hit some speed bursts in there. Daily ride is around 20 miles and I come home with 60-70% left. ET Max is my high speed street cruiser and sitting wheel, range is much better. I can do the same exact ride and have at least 80% left. ET Max also doesn't get ridden under 40mph much, extremely stable at high speeds! You can definitely feel the weight difference between the two for sure!
Amazing!! ❤❤❤❤
I can relate I’m glad you started your channel the longer content is way more of a true connection ❤
How is it in the rain?
We have never taken it out in the rain, but I could see as long as covering the display so it doesn't get wet you should be fine!!
Fantastic Video bro. thanks for sharing. My ET Max will be here tomorrow 8-16-24! Excited!
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on one of these. My questions really are about hills, I live in San Francisco, this is the proving ground for hills, how does it handle on really steep hills, speed etc? Also, I can't find out how much torque it produces. Do you know those numbers? Thanks!
BEWARE OF BANDIT EBIKES: I ordered my X-Trail Pro ebike two weeks ago and have not heard a single word from them. I emailed and got a generic 'Sorry for the long wait!' message. I called and spoke to the guy in their first Short who has an accent - he gave me the run around about "shipping hundreds of bikes out a day and they are catching up" - surprise, surprise, their phone seems to have been disconnected/they are blocking calls. I have called multiple times and the line either cuts out or says it's not available (it used to go to a voicemail - very sketchy) I am planning on charging back my credit card tomorrow and will warn everyone I can about this company (Google reviews, reddit ebike subreddit, ebike forums/discussion boards, etc). When I ordered my bike, I should have been given a timeline for my $3k+ purchase. Radio silence is both disrespectful and unethical business practices. I have a feeling they are advertising without any inventory - the most recent reviews are from MONTHS ago and none since then. Avoid the headache: go get a Talaria or a Mantis - these guys seemed to have fumbled the bag unless I magically get an email or call tomorrow 😂
@@rickeykoga2312 I called bandit yesterday and they picked up the phone immediately. So I'm not getting any of that, I don't work for them, I hadn't heard of them until this year, I'm just doing research on possible purchases and the guy was super cool and informative when I talk to him about the pluses and minuses of that specific model. I would just settle down and not jump to conclusions quite yet, sometimes the small businesses can get overwhelmed, they have one shop. I'd be much more curious about how the bike was and handles and if it handles hills from a dead stop when you get it. Canceling the credit card charge or disputing it might prove to be a headache also. Maybe call Lynn and say you need some absolute clarification or you're going to do it. Like I said, I called one time and they answered easily.
With it having 2 motors it definitely helps dr8ve the bike uphill. I have noticed a little lag depending on how long hill climb is, but not near as bad as a single motor bike. You can also swith which motor you want to use (front, back, or both)
Can you send link for the mirrors ?
How to charge the batteries in the frame ? Or take out ?
How warm is it inside ???
It was about 75 degrees in the morning, we went around 2 blocks, to just try the pack out, then headed home so it didn't heat up at all. I would never take him out on hot days, would probably get to be way to much in there.
why not have the dog just briskly walk next to you? 5-10mph would be just fine.
First reason would be I am doing about 20mph! Second reason is, my pup is 4 pounds and 6 inches tall and even 5-10mph is a full sprint for him Lol! Also a dog running next to me while I am riding in the road is extremely dangerous and I am not willing to risk my dogs life.
@@wheeliecody strange there are tons of euc riders with dogs walking beside them on youtube and 5mph is just fine for that little dog. You should not ride in the road anyways- thats dangerous in of its self.
@shibadoesntcare strange because not with dogs this size, they walk/ride with bigger dogs, I have seen the videos as well. And this is perfectly street legal and I am being safe, so you can kindly mind your own business because I didn't ask for your opinion on the matter ✌️
I have a backpack like that and a small dog I would be terrified to take my dog on a ride on my Sherman S. 😂
I was pleasantly surprised with how my little fella did, I thought I would feel him move around a bunch but he was just chillin!! Maximus riding the ET Max 😂
Didn’t see nothing, brother
Awesome 😎 thanks brother!!🙏
Is there anywhere on the bike where you'd be able to thread a chain lock or u-lock? I want to get this but it seems like the step through version doesn't have anywhere solid to lock to?
I see what you are saying there! I think the back wheel would be the best bet for a u-lock or any other type.
@@wheeliecodynot good - someone can easily take the wheel off yes?
@bigtime316 No the wheels do not easily come off. It would be easier to cut the bike lock or chain, yes!
90/90?
Yep Yep, kept it with the 90/90 but the city grip 2 seems to have a slimmer profile with it being more rounded on the edges (allows for harder leaning without all the work)
Is this cadence pedal sensor or torque pedal sensor?
This for 2 person riding also?
You could have 2 people ride on it, the seat is large enough for that! It would definitely affect the speed and range but if you were just cruising for fun or commute, it would work!
How is customer service also this make in China or us
What video did you watch for the tire change?
I looked up Begode ET Max tire change and it was the first video by Tep Rides! If you have any question the video doesn't answer, just message me I am happy to help!
Bravo garçon, c'est bien clair tout ça. Merci
that turtle was goin weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
😂 he was in shellshock 😂
good job dude
Just out here trying to do my part 😁
Hey man, been there Get a good speed and sit from the standing position then stand from the seated position I learned by where are you at? That looks like a nice path Looks like you are starting on a big wheel -
Oh man I have been riding for almost 2 years now, I have always been able to sit while I am already rollin and stand back up of course. Just never really worked on starting while seated! Definitely getting a better handle on it, but the extra weight from this big wheel does give more a little more of a challenge (I am a little guy)
First 🤟🏽😈
My guy 🙌🔥
About to purchase my first one
That is awesome! We are still really enjoying it. Very comfortable ride and has enough speed/power for anything we want to do! Hopefully you have as much fun as we are with it 🙌
Can it really go up to 120 plus miles?
Great human.
Learning balance and strength to bend knees will make you a very strong rider. Great flow, sik attitude, you will help many.
I appreciate that my friend, and your support 🙌Thank you very much!
Thanks for this informative review! I'm 5' 8", 185lbs, 30" inseam, athletic, it would be my first EUC. I know what you're thinking, however, I'm a PEV'er, have many other performance PEVs - hyper scooters, electric dirt bikes, etc, so riding 55-68mph is not something new to me. I figure I get a one and one EUC for road use, something I can gradually learn on without having to upgrade every month or so. How high is the pedals from the floor on each setting? Thanks in advance!
Where are the pedals?
That's the things I am standing on, under my feet!
Lucky u 😢👍
Get ya one, they are fun and you know you deserve it 🙌
Awee yeahh
Yes sirrs 🙌
Where did you get that high quality uni stand in the background?
From the bestest 3dprinter out there, that's you 🎉
You take that thing off any sweet jumps?
No sir, this is my ride fast on the street wheel!
@@wheeliecody what if there was a sweet jump on the street? Would you hit that sweet jump or ride past it like those dorks on two wheels?
Hey could i get your honest opinion if a Veteran lynx e wheel is too much for someone barely getting into e wheels and has never ridden on one?? Pls n thx subbd n liked 👍🏽
I appreciate your support, thank you 🙌 The Lynx is an amazing wheel and would bring a few extra challenges to learn if that is your first wheel. But you would absolutely be able to learn on it, then would have np need for an upgrade! I am a smaller guy and learned on the s18 which at the time was considered a little bigger for a beginner. Now I see others starting on EX30s and those are some chunky wheels. So honestly it might be too much at first, but once you get the hang of it you will be really happy.
Hello from Ukraine!! I would love to see more stuff about your wheel
Thank you for the comment! I am in the works of making a video about both of the wheels I ride! Stay tuned they are on the way 🙌
I just sold my first wheel too. Guy destroyed it within a week😢. I did 1600 miles on the Gotway MSX
Daaaang that is definitely a bummer! I am sure the guy that grabbed mine is going to put it to the test, he wants to off road!
You know what they say...one man's trash is another man's treasure. 😂
I also sold my MSX to my neighbor and bought a King S16 in return. The difference is huge.
@gamesgames8017 those new s16 are pretty rad, great wheel!! I already have sellers remorse Lol, but happy the s18 gets ridden every day now!
wow, your a nerd like me. LUV IT!
LOL! Absolutely am, wouldn't have it any other way!
Smart drive
They are pretty sweet, I looked them up. They are costly, he should just strap an EUC to it and could go faster and farther 😂
