When I saw he got a camp invite, I decided to watch the video I could find of him and I liked what I saw. One play in particular stuck out to me. It looked like a scramble play Mahomes has made on more than one occasion. Hayek was on the right side of the field doing a go route or maybe curl. His QB gets flushed out sprinting left. So, everyone on the field starts heading left, but Hayek recognized it and stayed on the right side of the field and threw up a hand where he was wide open. His QB found him and it went for a big TD. It reminded me of a play where Hill saw Mahomes get flushed out left and instead of working to Mahomes, Hill spun around and ran away from. Of course, Hill was wide open and Mahomes found him for a big play. I guess nothing amazing, but I liked that he understood just because I'm over here and my QB is way over there, I'm not out of this play yet.
I started out in the "Young man made a stupid mistake" camp, but am leaning more towards "Character concerns are a bigger problem than they're worth" camp as Rashee has been implicated in yet another incident. I hope he figures out if he wants to make changes before the NFL opportunity passes him by. As for the Chiefs, I hope there's an A.J. Brown pennies on the dollar trade out there, but I don't see anyone actively looking to help the Chiefs get better
Hayek looks like a gamer. Chiefs have speed guys now, so Hayek would prolly be a good add.

i think hollywood brown can get rice role n adding xzavier worthy is the extra piuece missing last year. so if rice play would be way better but adding burks n rice come back i think we will be most versatile at WR

I'm guessing the delay is only to do with naming the channels and times of games -- to give themselves the best deals and least chance of changes during the season. The order of games/match ups is probably pretty well locked in if they released exactly which teams are matched up for games home/away.

I think Hollywood Brown is gonna be a huge difference maker in this years WR room. I think we have enough WR's, and don't think any of the WR's on the market are worth draft capital and a contract.
I have high hope for worthy but I can’t say that the WR unit is better than last year. Worthy needs to prove him self and brown is untested with the Chiefs so I don’t feel that things are better than the way they looked going into last season. This time last year we had high hopes for Toney and Moore and now they are not even locks for the team.

Honestly, if we add another piece, it should be a power RB. Pacheco can’t do this alone. He’s somewhat injury prone and at some point, since running backs have a short shelf life, he’ll probably sustain some sort of serious injury that will sideline him for weeks or longer. To stretch out the time before that happens, the Chiefs should add someone. I don’t know who that is, but I was hoping they’d sign Derrick Henry. I think this group of receivers is more than adequate, but while the RB room has a great #1, it lacks depth and could use a bully.
Our WR room is feeling weighty for sure. It's not looking good for RR but we shouldn't discount the lessons learned by both coaching staff and #15 on growing a confident new receiver. That's probably one of those ambiguous benefits that I think would pay dividends with this year's WRs.

I think they could definitely benefit with the right veteran wr signing, but who's left at this point? Someone might be available later after cuts who knows. But Andy could probably work the TE group harder to take some pressure off the immature WRs. They probably will just to see what Wiley adds to the big picture. At this point I feel more comfortable with everything than last year at this time.

I think the WR room needs more help, I wouldn't be against moving out Sky Moore and K Toney, as both had underwhelming seasons and if they don't perform in the off season, they could become candidates for the cutting block of their own doing.

I like the Villanova kid and he can used as a possible fill in for Rice if he makes the roster even though he is a longshot. With the recent incident we could say up to 12 weeks suspension or full season and Rice could be dismissed via trade after this year if his bad behavior continues.

I’m guessing Rice is gonna be out week 1 this year until his legal issues get resolved. The exempt list is just for that eventuality. An then once things get resolved he will still serve suspension from there. So I’m betting we don’t see him on the field this year. If the new receiver can play in the slot and win out over Moore and Toney then we should all be glad to have that player here.
I don’t think Russ is gonna be bad at all on the Steelers don’t forget it could also end up being fields if he beats Russ out Steelers roster is honestly way better than the broncos I think the chiefs will win but it could be a fun game

That would surprise me a little as Mahomes has not played at Carolina & would not get another chance for 8 years.
They're not playing in Germany this year. Mahomes has already beaten all 31 other teams.

Cole posted a quote that said they were playing in Germany in both 2023 and 2024. That's why I said that as Carolina was awarded 1 of those German international games.

They have not and won't until the day before the schedule release indicate who those teams are playing overseas. The only one they've let out was eagles. Packers, and that's because it's opening weekend and things have to be prepared.... So our Carolina game is the only possible way the Chiefs could play in Germany. I was just commenting because Cole posted on the video a quote saying they would play in Germany in '23 and '24. I was just narrowing it down for him if he was saying it was going to happen. That's the only team it could happen with. I was under the presumption they were not playing, but if they are, that's the only game they could play the other announced home teams aren't even on their schedule...
