You can’t help but like this young man. Looking forward to seeing him in camp and preseason! Best of luck to you Louis!
If he makes the team, and scores a few TDs, I see a toothpaste commercial n his future.
He is s superstar back home in rugby, so great to see him humble and grounded. These qualities will help him do well. LRZ 🚀
Superstar for all the 12 people in Wales lol
@@LB_die_Kaapiewell I guarantee u ..more people in the world know LRZ compared to ANY NFL player . Rugby played worldwide , where he was a star , NFL outside of US Is such a minority sport , I doubt many could name a solitary player
As you get older. I am 59, I can’t help but admire the intoxicating pure potential of youth. I was devastated when I heard Louis was leaving our National side. However I am following his progress avidly. Honestly I can’t imagine how he will stack against his team mates who have grown up with American Football to the point that it is as natural as walking. Whereas Louis has kind of arrived on a different planet and needs to not only learn but make the skills instinctive and intuitive. Very interesting scenario. Chiefs have a lot of fans from Wales now.
As long as he’s not a total disaster on the field, this guy is worth the special teams/rb slot just for his media pull.
😂 yea for sure
Just so some other team doesn’t steal him off the practice squad. Absolutely RB4 special teamer.
The Kingdom is pulling for you good sir.
NFL fans who have no exposure to Rugby have no clue how amazing most of these Rugby players are. Very humble and respectable . It’s ingrained in the ethos of the game. I left NFL fandom 9 years ago and Rugby has been a life saver. The level of respect for refs and opponents is amazing. We have that in the USA with Major League Rugby.
Yeah they don't realise that Rugby is a Gentleman's game, we used to have to call the refs Sir, I think they still do in Rugby league & Union
Rooting for you, Louis! Good luck.
Don't doubt his toughness.. You don't look the way Louis Rees Zammit does in a place like South Wales without being as hard as nails. It's a working class place and rugby is religion.
They'll have been trying to knock his block off since the age of 12.
Dont underestimate him.
Very impressive!! Best of luck
I really hope this young man makes the 53 man roster. Can’t wait to see what he can do in camp and preseason. Can’t help but like him.
Seems like a very likable dude!
I rather they use him as a RB/WR/KR/PR in all different plays and schemes, like a gadget guy ,trick plays with Patrick and I think he will SUCCEED 👍🏻❣️I ROOT for him to make the team everyday ❣️
He's a Welsh Army Knife for the Chiefs offense.
RB4, if he isn’t excellent on special teams, he might be on the 53.
It’s hard when Prince and Perine know football and know the playbook. Special teams is how he’ll get on the field week one.
He is a marketing dream, very likable, very mature and comes across as a guy that loves his family and is very humble. He will be a success
Cheering you on Zammit!! You got this!❤️💛
The Chiefs got one here. I really hope he makes the team for you guys just to see what he can do. As a Rugby fan this guy plaid at the highest level and was top talent.
Good luck with the Chiefs,
I think you are a great addition to the team 😊😊❤❤😊😊
Here in Europe we are all supporting him. Great athlete and great guy
After a couple seasons he's gonna be kiliin it.
hope this young man maked the team go Chiefs 🎉
Good luck Louis we’re pulling for you!
That number answer🔥🍻
Really like this kid
this was the perfect time for LRZ personally to make the move as the Welsh rugby team and rugby in general in Wales is in massive decline and he would have wasted the best years of his life playing for a losing team. Good luck to him, its going to be tough but he has the right attitude and physical attributes to make a success of this.
BEAST MODE....
Credit to us and Wales
Can't wait to see literal passes from him.
Go on, give it another try.
Under achieved in the combine but the Chiefs know it. They’ll know how fast he’s been clocked on the rugby field (24mph). Let’s hope he makes the 53 cut. Exciting watch from the Uk 🇬🇧 🏴
my man just ripped a 30 minute questonaire.
I also played football in Italy in the 80s. I feel like his dad
What a great problem for the chiefs to have. Prince and Perine are pretty good too. Likely only 1 or 2 of them will make the 53.
He needs to make the roster. Otherwise Big Red and the boys taught him a whole bunch of football so he can go play for another team. I don’t think 31 teams are going to let the Chiefs hide him on the practice squad.
This guy should be with Taylor Swift. Carries himself well and well spoken. Watch out Travis! hahahaha
1. Elite Gunner/Punt Blocker
2. KR2
3. RB4 - Gadget/Wildcat
Best teeth in the NFL😁

Future special teams standout
The Welsh Christian McCaffrey
Interesting considerations about differences in demands between football and rugby and, thus, different strength and conditioning
he's so British
If he can dial in footwork on RB and gain confidence and instinct in plays, he will be ok. I think he will be put on practice squad because of the free spot until he develops. He obviously is willing to put in the work but needs development. I think we will see him elevated once maybe twice this year. Next year he might make the 53.
Seen a few comments where people suggest he could develop into a Deebo Samuel type utility player. That seems a good shout. Just a bit lanky for RB , unless he gains 20 lbs and not lose speed. Not been an upright running style 6'3" RB since Eric Dickerson. Derrick Henry is about 50 lbs heavier and is that big naturally, was 240 lbs in high school.
How mad are the other 31 going to be now that Kansas City signed Jamie Tartt?
He doesn't look like he has much mass for a running back. Hope he can hold up to the pounding.
Watch a rugby game, educate yourself
Dude. Mind you he’s a winger, yet in Rugby he’s running into other players over and over without stopping. On top of that, he’s used to tackling as well. He definitely won’t get winded.
@@usarugbyleagueunionfanI think he’s referring to the impact of the hits not getting winded. Yes, Rugby is a very tough physical contact sport but hits in the NFL are like car collisions due to the padding players don’t let up on hits. This has been proven NFL hits are harder and no that’s not me calling rugby soft it just a fact.
@@cjboyer4355 I agree with you 100%. The combination of helmets and pads and bad tackling techniques will be a factor. The NFL hits are harder yet much less in volume with all the stoppage.
He will be fine. He is basically the same height, weight and speed as Brian Thomas Junior. He is used to taking hits. And the padding and helmets work both ways.
Looks a little small to me
Pick the brains of the defensive coordinators and DBs. Your Rugby awareness means zero here.
Gotta beat out Jason Chu Godrek
Nope. He does not. He signed a multi year deal already. Makes zero difference because he’s not on the international player pathway thing.. he has a real contract
