I don't know who this actress is or even if it is a professional production, but the actress has an exceptionally beautiful voice. This is one of my favorite songs of the show. Thanks for the video.
Haha. Wow. Better than I was expecting from the set...and also the acting, not that the acting is that bad or anything. Just by comparison the singing is so professional and lovely.
That' the British version There were obvious re-writes not the only song with different lyrics and musical accompaniment Eg Little Bird is very Beatle-ish !!
@baboonette100 I found Joan Diener version; the original Aldonza from the 1960's broadway Man of Lamancha here at youtube i posted a comment on your profile page hope it helps i posted
@baboonette100 hmm; very tricky; i've heard the original on the old vynal LP...of which my copy is (somewhere) at my old home where my ex & my kids reside. How about the old movie with Peter O'Toole and Sophia Loren? all of which i too am having trouble finding on the web even as i compose this reply but...all the best with your production. knock 'em for a loop, kid
absolutely sublime--the traditional lyrics have Aldonza singing "you"--but that's small stuff--it gives me the chills

You are too talented for this production.
Lovely voice, and I think you have the character down, too. Good musicians.

What kind of production is this? She is very good. Also, the oboe player does a fantastic job!
