This is just incredible! I'd love to see the editing process. Currently I edit music videos using the multi-camera feature in premiere pro. Worse case scenario about this method is having 16+ feeds of video playing at the same time so I can edit 😅

I want to film a metal music video so badly. I grew up with the 2010s emo metalcore and since I've been in video production for the last few years it's something that's been burning in my heart for a while

Great content. It would be more beneficial if you would include a gear list, like what lenses were used, any filters, mics, frame rates, etc. Thanks!
One thing to note on the Smallrig batteries: I did some pretty serious testing and there was a massive difference between the battery voltage readout and the voltage meter I had plugged in. I actually got a little more time out of them than the voltage meter indicated I had.

Awesome! What lenses did you use? What’s the filter? It looks just the right amount of soft but i didn’t notice halation on the highlights like black pro mist does.
One thing i like about the RED look is the details in the shadows, it was the right camera for this project

Did you shoot at 120 f/s with the black curtains? What is the shutter set to? It looks cool with the ”wrong” shutter.
Is it at 240, but looks too fast (cool) when played in real time? 24 frames. 😀

I got to be honest I’m really not a fan of the music video. I hate to say it because I’m a big fan of your work and what you are doing normally but the actual music video was hard to watch for me. I didn’t like the suicide scene, I think it glorified a big problem in todays society. The woman being attached verse the interrogation scene had me a bit lost to. Think the big problem with it all was it was to obvious maybe a few to many stories. Looked more like client directing what they want instead of trusting the artist to come up with the concept and best solution. The production techniques and the editing work was good I just didn’t, like the story.
That's fair, Luke! Our goal is to make the best video for the clients/ artists. Sometimes, they have the story and give directions, sometimes we create the script and story. I appreciate that you are a fan. Stay tuned for stories that are a bit more familiar :)
