Your process and mine are remarkably similar. Start out calm and collected and in a decent mood and then it steadily declines into dropping the f bomb every other word……and then the hammer comes out, and finally something gets thrown and then it’s cool down time in the basement 🤣

Unreal Wayne, you're the first bloke i've heard talk about the Belliville washers and Belliville springs which are two of the key components of a TT series!! Keep safe Wayne, dont stress bout us viewers, take care cobber 👍
Man am i glad i found your channel, i have a 79 International Transtar 2 with a 8v92TTA in it that im trying to turn up a little bit, your videos have helped tons!
I appreciate that it doesn´t roll coal all the time. It seems to smoke a bit when You floor it but not when You are soft on the gas- I really like that. Yeah, diesels smoke but there is normal and then there´s top fuel tractor pulling- they black out the sun. Have a good time, kind regards
soon as i saw Wayno shoot a spray can bottle with a 1911, i knew it was going to be a good vidya. good sheet as always Wayno. got that 92 series revvin like a 53 series!
Ole' Mossy's a ripper! She really sounds good topped out on an upshift. Do what you need to do on making videos, we'll be here. Your family and your sanity come first.
Great job Wayne, sounds good , just hope she handles it . Hey I don’t know how you make as many videos as you do it’s amazing , you usually try to share knowledge with us , thank you for that. I wouldn’t have the patience or skill to make videos like you do , I’m not a truck guy but I love Detroit engines . I have several Detroits in earthmoving equipment. I do like your trucks , mossy , the old brockway, the cab over , Mack, they’re all cool . I also enjoy whatever you share with us especially your mate James . Take some time off we’ll support you . All the best Wayne and Tracey . Cheers from New Zealand
@@Ol2Stroker I have no idea i would be hauing dirt all day and develop a miss pull off rocker cover find culprit and replace bent 5 of them in a couple month period detuned the truck before i sold it
Gotta love an 8V92 in a 359. That's as good as it gets. And 650 is a good number. I still want to see how powerful and efficient you can make an old 2 stroke with higher static compression, a pair of modern variable vane turbochargers, the high speed blower drive with the bypass, and a huge intercooler. I'd like to build one, twin stick 8x4 and 3.42:1 gears. About a 260" wheelbase, 60" high top uni built style sleeper.
Krylon never dries and yet doesn't stay where you put it. That crap makes a mess of anything you put it on. You have to get all of it off to repaint with anything because it wrinkles up. I've been liking the Seymour brand paints called Big Rig. It's been really nice to use so far, and it covers and dries nicely also.
RAD!!! She sure sounds clean! Hope the V12 is getting its budget and that no-one buys the 700 and ya Waynoize er fer us toobers! Cheers from Santa Cruz
Great video Wayne really enjoyed watching you work on Mossy. Getting it upgrades done for 650 hp sounds awesome as usual. Looking forward to your next video with a load behind it stay safe Wayne.
I remember drivers sticking 4 quarters glued together inside that idle high speed cover get 2700 rpm on the 475 silvers . They would get mad when they came in for service and I found it and confiscated the slug. 2350 was the normal setting. Trucks with these engines were fun to drive.
That truck sounds and looks great Wayne. She looks like she's running good. Hey man don't feel the need to post videos if your not up to it, you got to take your own time out and take care of yourself when needed first mate. Us viewers will always be here so just post when you feel like it. 👍 it's by far the best Detroit channel on the net. *Cracked me up blowing that paint can away too lol😂🤙
Mix it up my brother! We ain't gotta see Detroit videos everytime.. take us on a journey with what Wayno needs to get done.. hell I'll still watch lol.. I jus wish I was closer.. scratch that you were closer id sound funny talkin like yall Yankees 🤣 😂😂
Wayne, is the turbo the factory 8V92 unit and what injectors are you using to get 650HP. For a while I worked at MidWest Detroit Diesel in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. To knock that pin out, I used to clamp the lever in a vise and smack the punch with a hammer. A pain any which way. You are probably correct that Detroit probably has aspecial tool at the factory.
love yourvideos.i used to drive old cabovers for 5 years hauled linseed oil.. gas and dry van to iowa from mn 3 times a week.then did rural gas hauls on weekends.the company i wanted to go to just got fined 280 grand a guy without helper crawled into a tanker that was supposedly cleaned he dyed fom toxic fumes was 2 weeks ago.they been in buisness 71 years.the helper called in sick that day
Just finished swapping in some 9200's in place of 9G85's. I probably need to look at getting the Belleville washers out of mine as well. But it's got an air high idle, so that's gonna be a pain in the butt.
Heellll yea . thought for a second you were going to melt her down lol just kidding you are Doc Detroit in my world great video as always when you going to get the v8 kitty on the road

YO BROTHER, YOU WORKIN THAT PRESS HAD ME PISSIN MY PANTS. WE HAVE THAT IN COMMON. I get so pissed off sometimes I’ll take a hammer to things just because…
How many miles are you able to run before you have to swap those out? It never ceases to amaze me how engineers always seem to design things overly complicated, and never think about mechanics that have to work in their junk
Hi Wayne all the way from Yorkshire England love the content questions what can you get more power out of v8 2 stroke or a v8 4 stroke and what's the easier to maintain 2 stroke or 4 stroke
detroits rock!.except for that ford convential i used to drive it made alot of noise but it nebraska hills i could open door and run along side of it but we where heavy back then 79000.lie on logs ect
i have no need for a 2 stroke diesel. But I really want a 12v72 or a 16v for my front yard. even if it is totally worn out. Just want to start it up once a week and let all hell break loose. How can I find a cheap old worn out DD?
Never been a big fan of Krylon paint and I understand that today's Krylon is not as good since Rustoleum bought Krylon. Yeah, there is usually a tradeoff when it comes to engine power versus reliability and durability.
I'm an avid hobbyist;as I like to build 1/25 scale plastic model big rig kits would normally use hobby grade enamel paints to paint the kits before assembly.I was not happy the day I had learned that Rustoleum was buying out the then bankrupt RPM company;which was the company that owned the Testors Model Master brand which was my go to brand lineup of hobby grade paints, and Rustoleum had announced that they were going to be discontinuing the manufacturing of one of the best brands of hobby grade paints on the market, and were only going to keep manufacturing the standard brand lineup of the little square bottles & of 6 fl oz spray cans of Testors paints.Factor in inflation and it has gotten to the point where it is just not worth it to be buying hobby grade paints any more;and spend between $4.00 & $10.00 for such little product to finish whatever plastic model kit that I am currently working on so I have been buying as many bottles of cheap water based acrylic craft paints as possible,as I have the Barbatos Rex Swallowtail dual action trigger style airbrush set with the .5mm fan pattern air cap & display stand;a No Name 3rd generation Cool Tooty airbrush compressor with a 3L air tank, and a spray booth with LED lights which has allowed me to airbrush the cheap water based acrylic craft paints and get a smooth and flawless finish everytime.I then airbrush 2 to 3 coats of Testors Gloss Cote over the smooth & flawless cheap water based acrylic craft paint job to seal the paint from moisture;dust, and to protect it from the sun's harmful UVA/UVB rays.
Watching this and also realizing I don't have the proper governor for my '53 series project, Why the heck can I not just put a stepper motor or servo on the rack linkage and a speed sensor on the crank? Cheap boards to do all kinds of governor function already exist and it seems like it would allow for all kinds of cool features like electronic throttle pedal, PTO idle up, warm up RPM, tuning and customization, etc easily Any reason you can think of besides that I'm crazy that I'm crazy?
Right out of the gate “this paint is garbage” click boom ….. fing nice
That govenor is like the inside workings of a Swiss watch!
Was in the junkyard today and found a Detroit Diesel key chain on a an old Plymouth Fury. Thought of ol2stroka' instantly!
You should have gotten that keychain
I was rolling when you were working on the arbor press. Totally how things go in my garage too. Thanks for another entertaining lunch hour, Wayne!

my favorite part of the videos is wayne’s grunting it lets you know a guy is just struggling 😂
His grunting is actually caused by or a result of a diet of high fiber and cheese. .
I bought a few things from your site and I dig how you personally write "Thanks" on every recite.
