Nick. I message last time about adding big studio and you said you going upgrade but still keep. My 1987 359 I still drive at 75 Years old,my boys run business but I do my daily run local. Raven frame less dump 3 to 4 days a week. But boys redone frame off on my day cab and we’ll was short wheel base now 310 wheel base still got Kta 600 on her been rebuilt essh few times had 2 mil 700 when total rebuilt was started. Now they rig up auto matic 18 in her. Beens my knee are old lol. And beef up the Kta bit under 1200 lol. And we’ll still love my rockwells for quarry 410 but puller and a runner lol. But I stay away from new. I see my boys up to 38 rigs. Few new with that crap you see broke down a lot with those hoods up. So just be careful now new buy Detroit as I see here road trucks never problems. Take care ride safe son
Hey Nick, is there talk in the industry about trucking becoming driverless? It would be a big fear of mine with the advances in driverless tech coming in the next 10 years. What do you think it means for the industry? Is anyone talking about it?
I can't imagine that it'll happen any time soon. It's one thing for a sedan or SUV to have self-driving technology but for it to be able to correct a semi truck with varying load weights? That'll be a challenge to master and I think the industry's focus is probably first perfecting vehicles of the general public.
