@@davidhecker5000I’m actually surprised Taylor Swift didn’t use the Swift Trucking company to move her tour around the USA!!! It’s one of the largest trucking companies in the country! Perfect fit if you ask me 😂
Im curious, if something wer to happen, like some idiot cuts off a truck and the load is damaged beyond repair, what would the stage crew do without those particular pieces of the stage or lights or equipment?
I’ve watched a few videos on the logistics of the tour. The Eras Tour had two different sets of truss & stage, call them A-rig and B-rig. They leap frog each other, so while Taylor’s playing on Friday night on A-rig, B-rig is probably sitting in the next city or rolling in. My point is that they have a little bit of cushion time if something were to go wrong. Obviously how much time depends on when the issue happens, but I’d say worse case they’d get replacement pieces for what was damaged on a one off rush load. Just a guess though!
One of my friends use to be the lead for running the truckers for a few artists over the years. Still the one at Farm Aid maybe 10 years ago now was classic. A guy walks up to him and says and says, Mr Nelson requests your presents in the bus. There were a few other instances, but the best was Mark Ruffalo putting his head down when artists were coming over to him or calling him over to their table at this one event in NYC.
I turned this on for my drive home, thinking it was going to be some sort of interview or something. It's definitely not something to turn on in the background lol.
Wow, no headache racks on some of those trucks pulling flatbeds? Back in the early to the end of the 90s I was leased to Landstar pulling my 53ft flatbed and we had to have headache racks. Not that they would stop a coil. ut still it was where chains, binders, straps, flags, tarps, and other paraphernalia was kept. When did the laws change? You have a beautiful truck. Be safe out there.
Cool video footage. Audio is horrible though. I did rock tours in the 90s. Drove coach on some tours & a rig on others hauling stage gear. Was home 33 days 1 year. It was a great gig if you were single. It sure beat hauling freight and dealing with warehouses. Looking back I wish I wrote a book about my experiences being on the road on rock n roll tours cause if you weren't there people don't believe half the stories that happened back then but did happen. Like we used to say back then 'ain't no business like show business'.

Great Video😎 Ive done work for Stage Call in the past, the entertainment industry is the best 👍You have to be on your toes and keep up with the crew
Sure do! And that’s awesome, thanks for sharing and the support! Ride on 🤟🏼
Man what a privilege to be a part of that concert series.
It set records.
IKR! It’s a honor to be apart of this team😎🙏
Im an over the road expedite driver hope to see this amazing rig on the road sometime!!!!!
You guys don't get the fame but yous guys get appreciated because with out yous the show would not go on the KW is sweet
Thanks that means a lot! ❤️🤟🏼
Beautiful rigs; awesome camaraderie; changing landscapes; dynamic weather; familiar cities... awesome video!
Hope it's OK to share a personal difference: I didn't mind the background music but I would have loved to have seen this crafted with TS songs that poignantly fit the different scenes. That's just me being picky; doesn't take away from the enjoyable vlog experience though! Thank you for sharing!👍
That is so amazing you give your truck driving associates such kudos, These guys never heat any kudos. You guys are amazing❤ love and thanks to all of you. I come from a family of truck drivers and is nothing short of hard work and long hours❤
I think you need one of those phone/base things that cling to to the window so you can place iPhone while driving and still film. I use in car driving around town and than I use just one finger not the best to move around but can still pick up the road! Cheers happy to have found your channel
My younger brother drove semi truck for her tours for 2 years -he works for “ Upstaging “ out of Illinois. Bright Red tractors with enclosed trailers with her picture on trailer.
Was it during the red era?
The logistics involved in this tour is absolutely mind blowing!!
Taylor is such a a amazing woman I love her to death so generous of her to think of her workers dancers truckers every one $ 100,000 is a awesome bonus I could accept thatbone love you taylor i so wish i coud afford tickets n travel fees to go see u im concert in frontnrow be soo awesome n surpied love you all
So, do the truckers build the stage or just transport it? How often do they get to go home?
Just transport it..diff. people do the job..
Very cool opportunity, well done!! Awesome rig and Fur baby 🦮
Thank you very much 😁✌🏼
If I drove for Taylor .Would that make me a Swift driver.. come on...😂
Yep. As in, "Sure Wish I F........ Taylor".
Hahaha only if you apply the decals on the side of your truck
@NickWeber112 Well it looks like you're having a truck load of fun. I don't know if that's fair or Not to those senior drivers.
Such as myself who has paved the way over the years. So that you new Young bucks
Can make the big money and drive the fancy trucks. Now I'm talking like your Grandpa.
Or perhaps your dad. But truth be told, Nick, I'm kidding. I'm very, very happy for you that you have fowned a job that you enjoy in life. You seem to be doing a remarkable job of it. Again congratulations on your career. And as we used to say, keep the sunny side up and the greasy side down. Be safe driver!
Stop it😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@davidhecker5000I’m actually surprised Taylor Swift didn’t use the Swift Trucking company to move her tour around the USA!!! It’s one of the largest trucking companies in the country! Perfect fit if you ask me 😂
AWSOMENESS...... KEEP ON TRUCKING.... BEEN WATCHING SINCE POWER ONLY DAYS..... NICEEEEE
Shoot yeah! Thank you for the continuous support! 😁✌🏼
This makes me want to walk away from the corporate engineering life at 52 and drive. Not sure why this was in my YT feed but glad it was!
She gives a lot to charities she a
Great of a decent young businesswoman
Nice to see they are driving real trucks.
At Shomotion we take pride in the rigs we drive! 😎🤟🏼👊🏼
Thanks for the sunsets and lighting shows. Miss that not being on the road.
Man you got some extra runs on this trip!
Keep in trucking bud!
They definitely make the driving a little sweeter 😁✌🏼
Great video man. Looks like the gig of a lifetime. Keep on truckin.
Cant be to bad you just got a big bonus most truckers would never get
So grateful🙏🙏
Such a cool video! Damn that beige truck is gorgeous
Thank you for the video. Safe travels. Blessings to yuou.
Thanks Gail! You as well!
Aww the dog 🥰 must be so nice to have her with you
Wish you would have explained a little more about the process or answer questions asked here.
The face of one of the people that got that bonus, lol nice!
😎🙏
Thank you for all your hard work Taylor really appreciate you all so do I. Have you met Taylor in person yet?
I turned this on for my drive home, thinking it was going to be some sort of interview or something. It's definitely not something to turn on in the background lol.
I told several people
some years ago that I wanted to drive for Taylor,
I still ain’t got it done yet!! 😂❤
Never will with that mindset. In show / music biz, you drive for the company who contracts with the talent...that simple. Dream on ☁☁...
If you find a company that transports for the big tours you might definitely get that chance! She will tour again next year 😎
@@NickWeber112technically he can drive for Swift 🤔🤷♂️ close enough
Oh hell, I would’ve given anything to have been a driver on her tour
Wow, no headache racks on some of those trucks pulling flatbeds? Back in the early to the end of the 90s I was leased to Landstar pulling my 53ft flatbed and we had to have headache racks. Not that they would stop a coil. ut still it was where chains, binders, straps, flags, tarps, and other paraphernalia was kept. When did the laws change? You have a beautiful truck. Be safe out there.
do you also unload the content or is that another team? Another team to assemble the set? Great video of you trucking. How did the TS find you?
I'm no trucker, in fact I hate driving....but seeing your rig on the road would get my attention!
Thanks Corey! Hopefully one day you see me pass on the road!
She's like a hero.
Love your Class 8- KW what a wonderful Ride. Nice Doggy also. I wish you could see my 1971 SeaGrave Fire Engine. I Drive her around My Area for KIDS events. Its power is 8V-71 Detroit Diesel-5 speed Dana/Spicer manual. I put stacks facing skyward, she screams down the streets.
Love to have you get behind wheel on her my friend. Thanks for getting Taylor's stage on time. I have never understood how you guys can get that stuff to next stadium in time for set ups.😊
Man that is so dang cool! I would love to see that fire engine sometime, sounds you make a lot of kids days! Friggin sweet man! Thanks for sharing! Ride on😎🤟🏼🙌🏼
gosh this loading unloading.....driving state to state, is hard work, these workers are incredible...
Hey there loved your video you guys work your butts off you guys rock
