I bought this album in Thailand, obviously a CD copy the year it came out and was very surprised some years later to hear a different version of this song on the "mainstream" version of the album. I've heard 3 different versions of this record and this one is by far the best and you could well be right about this version being on the Japanese version of the album considering my Thailand copy has the same but the European CD's have a different version. This rendition is simply beautiful.

macumm99 correct. this is the Japanese album version. she also recorded one before this as part of the "first sessions" that popped up on the bootleg "first sessions and more." as for this version agree that its the best version recorded. wish she had decided to release this one instead of what eventually came out.
