You have been the best gear tech guy on RUclips for me. I used to be shamed in a band back in 2015 for wanting monitoring systems and smaller pedal boards that are multi-fx. This makes me want to gig more than ever again! Katy Perry !!!
very, very interesting... this is how I run my IEM/pedalboard rig. Cabsim is at the end of the pedalboard (all my fx and eq etc), xlr go to PA and the 1/4 inch out to my mini mixer. A full band monitor mix goes into another input of my mixer, there I blend how much the band vs my own bass sound for my iem mix, and finally to the headphone out to my in ear (wired, planning to buy wireless soon). This Eversync basically taking care of my mini mixer and wireless iem transmitter. Amazing idea... Katy Perry 😎
It honestly looks like a solid piece of gear for emergency situations. We play on a quit stage (eDrums; no amps, no monitors) Last week we had the lead sing of a local tribute band come to see us and we invited him to sing a song with us but didn’t have another IEM pack This would be a nice and portable piece of gear to toss in our rack case in case we needed to add a musician. Katy Perry
Looks super handy, especially for my keyboard rig + pedal board that I use in a band that otherwise isn't really interested in a more complex rack setup for wireless monitoring. Also, Katy Perry
I'd like to share my current set-up (as a singer AND guitarist) that I use with my KATY PERRY cover band. I run my microphone as well as the output of my pedal board into a Rolls PM59, these 2 inputs have through outs which I can send to the mixer. I then take an aux channel from the mixer and run that into the PM59. With the 3 sources in the PM59, I can balance them to taste using the knobs. I then send that to my Lekato wireless IEM system.
Just ordered through your link, thanks for the discount! Really looking forward to getting this so I can hear myself singing during a loud practice in a small room.
@@ScottUhlMusic I thought I could put it at the end of my effects loop to hear my guitar signal since I use my amp's distortion mostly but it really messes with the signal chain. I can't put it after my direct chain either. Kinda bummed it isn't a neutral passthrough. Any tips on getting my guitar sound through input one? Vocals only through input two works great.
@scottuhlmusic I think I was thinking about this wrong. I am going to run a cab sim DI between my head and cabinet and run the DI to the eversync. Sorry to bother, thanks again!
Finally someone made pedal sized IEMs, ive been searching for something like this for years. My IEMs just sit awkwardly on the floor next to my pedalboard currently. .....now, how do I work Katy Perry into a sentence hmmm 🤷♂
Agree this is a feature rich budget IEM. I'm curious to use this out from my Sony Fx3 into the transmitter and then plug the receiver into a pair of speakers to listen to some Katy Perry tunes.
Thanks Scott for the feedback especially by first testing the devices before sharing the Pro & Con. I am Sure that this device with the 2nd Input… will 'make you ‘roar!! Louder than a lion… as Katy Perry sing… and your video’s subject are really useful, as we get first hand without spending $$.
This is exactly what I have been looking for a long time.!!!!.. As Always, Thank you Scott for testing these gadgets out. This is hot..! as hot as Katy Perry.. 🤘
Just picked up the Cloud Vocal wireless for my sax and I'm really liking it. I'm super interested in the in-ears. And it should fit quite nicely on my board. Thanks for the review.
I'd be curious to try it out. Agree about the price point and that a headset thrown into the deal could make the purchase more worthwhile. Katy Perry would think so, too.
Thanks Scott. You always have the best gear reviews! This looks like a great device to always have in your gig bag because it could useful in so many situations! Too bad the price is so high. If someone could make one with these options for $200, they'd corner the market. Thanks again Scott. (Oh and - Katy Perry!)
Greetings from Hungary! I’m new to the channel, but already found so much useful information! Thanks for that! By the way, I love the song “Feels” with Katy Perry.
We use the Behringer P-16 using the ULTRANET system and this unit would be fantastic as you don't have to route back to the IEM rack...just down to the floor and into the pedal...pretty cool....Katy Perry.....
Thanks for the review! Super helpful. I'm working on building an amp-less, IEM setup with an HX Stomp for my musical theatre gigs with Katy Perry when having an amp is "too loud".
This seems like a great option for those who have gone down modeler the route but haven't gotten a full IEM rack system for their band,. I know I could easily use this and not worry about lugging a frfr or going through someone's fx loop. Def sending this to some of my friends!!!
very nice review!! This would be a very nice option for a third IEM system of my own. I don't know if I personally use as part of my pedalboard. And I don't blame ya, Katy Perry is kind of a bop!
Another great video, I've picked up a lot from your IEM videos.. I've been a little depressed lately since me and Katie Perry broke up. This helped me get over that hump.
A newer viewer to your channel…. I really like your content and appreciate your unbiased opinions on gear. Katy Perry would be proud to have you as a guitarist!
bah, was on holiday so missed the giveaway. Looks like a nice bit of kit, maybe slightly overpriced but very handy for sticking on a pedal board and running a cable from the aux out on the mixer to the transmitter. With it then being in close proximity should help with wireless dropouts too, then all you need to worry about is charging your receiver. I have the Xvive U4 which is excellent but with this it's only one thing to charge and the battery life is longer and USB-C is also a bonus, but main advantage is 5.8GHz instead of 2.4.
Love ur videos ,, I recently got a sennheiser ew100 g4 and ur videos helped me set it up ,, I use it mainly to hear myself for accuracy,, so I built myself a basic system with it
Keep the reviews coming. Not sure this one’s for me though besides the pedal board power option. Katy Perry is guilty pleasure for many of us… you are not alone
This seems like something that would be very beneficial for guitarists. I've learned so much about wireless from watching your videos and I'm sure Katy Perry has as well!
I appreciate your videos, really helpful, not like Katy Perry. Keep producing these videos . Versatile system. Thanks for sharing your real thoughts and not just going along with the sponsor, agree about the price.
Thank you for another great video as always! I like how compact the system is, 2 inputs, and not being in the 2.4Ghz range! All great things. The 4 channels is a bit tight for the price range but maybe being in the 5.8Ghz range that's all you need and not too busy? 🤷♂ Katy Perry!!
So cool to find your channel. I’ve been looking for a good solution for this that wasn’t so dang expensive. The NUX and Phenyx stuff looks promising but reviews seem inconsistent. I don’t know if Katy Perry use these but I’d love to give the a shot.
I have been waiting for something like this. I currently have a Radial MIX 2:1 passive mixer on my pedal board to blend an IEM mix from FOH etc. and a send from my QC. This would be a much neater solution. Also an upgrade with the better GHz operating frequency than the Xvive I am currently using. As you pointed out a bit pricey though. I am sure Katy Perry would approve 😅. Thanks for the review.
Great video! I could see how this would be very useful. Using your receiver as a USB audio interface is interesting. Katy Perry is a juggernaut of an artist.
400 is a lot of bread, but I'm not aware of anything else that has these features. I'll probably have to check one out for practicing along with Katy Perry tracks. Thanks for the video!
Great review. Two members of our band use IEM’s but our guitarist is reluctant to switch over fearing losing control of what he needs to hear. These might give him the control he needs. Don’t might a bit of Katy Perry 😉
I’m not sure if Katy Perry would appreciate this system, but it’s definitely something that I see myself utilizing and enjoying. Thanks for the video review and the contest.
Scott - another great review. Concise & to the point. I agree that having only 4 channels is a limitation; but only if more than 4 different mix combinations needed. If fed via AUX/monitor mixes to these devices, you could use another IEM solution for the 5th, 6th, etc. I won hundred percent agree that this might be a good solution for a guitar player or bass player (and also sings) to provide a “more me” solution. It would be great for a horn section that shares the same mix (ie 4 horns use 1 transmitter and 4 receivers). Or, you could send an appropriate band mix to the entire band and, as you noted in the video), individual band members could use the 2nd input to dial in more or less of their instrument or vocal. I’d guess this would NOT support phantom power 48v for a mic, correct? In all, $399 is a “bit” pricey; but it is a decent budget wireless IEM solution. If it supported 8-12 channels and cost $299, it would be a no-brainer. Still, it is an interesting product, and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention and doing your review. BTW, Katy Perry says “hi!” ;-)
Thanks! And it doesn’t have an option to provide phantom power. But if a mic already had phantom power and then went into this it would be fine. I also did a video on this: ruclips.net/video/cFqnYsloQc8/видео.htmlsi=Z8ryI6-lMQaO9UGh
@ScottUhlMusic have you ever looked at the Debra Audio Er-202 system? I watched your phenyx pro one but in Canada it's tough to get so we looked into this as an alternative.
I think we need you at have Katy Perry on your channel. You can interview her and talk about what she uses for her setup! Love your channel Scott!!! Thank you for the great content.
Nice review, I was waiting for some affordable 5.8GHz stereo iem systems to hit the market, so many 2.4GHz and even UHF ones, but surprisingly not 5.8. I play guitar and also sing a bit, I mean I'm no Katy Perry when it comes to vocals, but I make do, so a system like that would fit my pedalboard like a charm ;) Oh, one other thing, it might be on an expensive side of budget (if that makes sense), but it sure beats the price of 2xLekato 5.8 XLR to Behringer Powerplay P1 where I live.
Your videos are very informative. I've been watching your channel for a while now, and you always have super cool stuff that nobody else is talking about. Keep it up! Unfortunately, not a fan of Katy Perry myself.
Damn, that's a great system. My band and I are currently making the switch to in-ear monitoring, and this would solve quite a few problems with direct monitoring and the ability to connect 4-channels. I wonder what Katy Perry uses ;) (Also, there are no guilty pleasures here. Katy Perry is just incredible!)
I wouldn’t recommend using 4 systems if there are only 4 channels. That means you won’t have any backup channels if one of them is taken. But this is definitely still a great system!
@@ScottUhlMusic thanks for the response, man! Well, luckily we only need two more wireless channels :) I really appreciate your content, Scott. Your channel is always my go to, if I'm unsure about anything technical. Keeps it up, dude
Great video! this is fantastic option for a small band like a trio or something...not for a Kate Perry gig for sure...and I agree the price is a bit high but other than that I think it is a good gear especially because you won't need to build a full rack...
This would be a great option for replacing my current in ears, since I could just add this to my pedal board and have one less thing to carry to gigs. Can’t wait to show Katy Perry when she gets home tonight 😂
Thanks Scott. Never replied before but appreciate your videos very much. The one on tablets was spot on.! Don't know how you find time to do it. I play in 3 bands myself. Great work, always looking for your next one. Oh yeah, Katy Perry (great musician/performer)
Hey, Scott! I'd love to try one of these, in fact i was looking for an option to hear me better at acoustic gigs where we haven't monitor speakers. I think Katy Perry sent me a link to purchase it but i agree with you about the price... by the way, I agreed about everything. Shout out from Brazil, take care!
Hey man I just found your channel, it's great!!! Thanks for the review, I've been looking into in ears and now I've got lots to watch. Katy Perry is alright😂
Thanks Katy Perry! (Oops, thanks Scott😁) Nice review! I'm a singer/bass player and I'm looking for a budget IEM that allows me to have separate controls: voice + full mix. Hope that Cloudvocal ships to Italy!
Hi Scott, what a great new video on wireless topic !👍🏻 Thanks Definitely, this tool will be welcomed in my pedalboard In-Ears monitor system ! Indeed, I’m a drummer but I made a pedalboard system, but relying on 2.4GHz. I need this 😀
Dear Scott, one question : could you confirm me that the Tx and Rx are mono? I mean does the input one or two could be a stereo track? Thanks in advance
Thank you for the great review (as always). Unlike Katy Perry you're more Hot than Cold on this product. Hopefully more manufacturers go down the pedalboard road with their wireless IEM products. As a bass player who tends to play mostly ampless using a DI out from a board this is a very useful idea. A lot of the cover gigs I play require a quick and easy setup and this ticks many boxes here. Also being able to blend my own bass on the fly with a monitor mix here is brilliant.
This is the system I need. I really don't know why not so many companies have "pedalboard in ears" since for us pedals are like candies. Wish more companies get interested in this type of product. AND WHO IS KATY PERRY...........
This looks great especially for a guitarist. We don't have enough IEM's for our band at the moment so I was thinking of getting my own as I can't hear myself play. I like the fact that you have 2 inputs. I agree with you though that they are quite expensive, I don't have the funds like Katy Perry :-P, especially with the current exchange rates.
As always, thanks for sharing Scott! I would suggest Cloud Vocal to consider adding a stereo option especially at this price point. I assume this could introduce more latency though to have stereo? They also should mention it's mono on their product page. It's a cool form factor though, but not Katy Perry cool. ;-)
Thanks! And getting actual stereo means you could pan input 1 and 2 separately. But I find it’s much much more valuable to be able to pan everything with a normal IEM setup. So stereo is nice, but I don’t see it as a requirement for this type of system personally
Really cool piece of kit. Interested to hear how it can function as a DI as well. Looks like it’d be perfect for a pedalboard-only setup. Katy Perry. That’s it.
Such an awesome channel! Katy Perry told me how invaluable a source of information this channel is for working musicians, so I had to check it out. She was totally right! Thanks for all your hard work!
again great review, thanx Scott! I played Katy Perry songs with my band for a long time. Fireworks, Teenage dream, Last Friday night and California Gurls. I like some of her songs.

@@ScottUhlMusic yeah I’m sick of not hearing myself with plugs or resort to going deaf 🤣

Thanks for watching!
Thanks Katy Perry! (Oops, thanks Scott😁) Nice review! I'm a singer/bass player and I'm looking for a budget IEM that allows me to have separate controls: voice + full mix. Hope that Cloudvocal ships to Italy!
Hi Scott, what a great new video on wireless topic !👍🏻
Thanks
Definitely, this tool will be welcomed in my pedalboard In-Ears monitor system ! Indeed, I’m a drummer but I made a pedalboard system, but relying on 2.4GHz. I need this 😀
Nice! Glad it was helpful 🤘
Dear Scott, one question : could you confirm me that the Tx and Rx are mono? I mean does the input one or two could be a stereo track?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the great videos. Something like this would work great with my solo backing track gigs. Also Katy Perry.
It would be great for solo sets!
I just heard that you are Katy Perry's guilty pleasure! Great content as always Scott....thanks for looking out for us working musicans!
That would be a dream come true! 😅 and thanks, I appreciate that 🤘
Thank you for the great review (as always).
Yeah, there definitely is a market for this! Very cool setup
This is the system I need. I really don't know why not so many companies have "pedalboard in ears" since for us pedals are like candies. Wish more companies get interested in this type of product. AND WHO IS KATY PERRY...........
hey bro... nice looking system, Kay Pay huh? Nice guilty pleasure that one! hahaha!!
You got that right! 😅😅
Cool little system for sure ! Thanks for the review. 👍
And yeah, Katy Perry 🤘
I would love to win this!! In ear monitor is the only piece of gear I don’t have!!!! 🙏
Looking forward to the dmx video
Thanks! It’s a cool little gadget for sure!
Yeah, definitely designed for musicians with pedalboards, which is really cool
Scott! Thanks for another great video, awesome to hear Katy Perry uses this thing too! 😅
Thanks for watching!
Very helpful review, as always. I think that I saw Katy Perry using this!
Pretty simple and clean. I dig it
Great video! I always learn something new watching these. Solid content.
Katy Perry
Thanks for watching!
Katy Perry. That’s it.
Definitely a really smart setup!
Such an awesome channel! Katy Perry told me how invaluable a source of information this channel is for working musicians, so I had to check it out. She was totally right! Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you! And thanks KP for the shout out 😅😅
again great review, thanx Scott! I played Katy Perry songs with my band for a long time. Fireworks, Teenage dream, Last Friday night and California Gurls. I like some of her songs.
Nice! We do Hot N Cold quite a bit and mash it up into Believe by Cher sometimes 😊
@@ScottUhlMusic Yeah we did Hot N Cold too. And also Believe but not mashed. great idea!
