- Recorded at Avenged Sevenfold's performance during their Sherpherd of Fire Tour. This was shot at the War Memorial at the OnCenter in Syracuse, NY, USA.
Anyone else miss jimmy? I do. Jimmy was the greatest drummer ive ever heard.

As cool as it must be to play arenas with a huge stage setup and pyro, for the sake of the energy, I feel like they need to do an intense, small venue tour again. They need to really recharge. I've been watching this band live for ten years, from "Waking the Fallen" to "Hail to the King" and the BEST Avenged show I've ever seen was at the Electric Factory in 2007. Nothing but a white backdrop with the deathbat. The band themselves were the show, and they were fully charged. Matt was electric. Zacky and Johnny were rocking out. Gates was engaging. The setlist was fresh and diverse ("Remenissions" "I Won't See You Tonight, Part 1" "Burn It Down"). Matt was screaming for the first time in years. I miss the days where I would come home from an Avenged show with bruises from the pit. Now I have to watch them from either the bleachers, or a general admission crowd at an arena. The band on stage nowadays seems tired and stale. It seems like they're going through the motions. They might genuinely be excited to be up there, but from a die-hard fan, it doesn't look it. I mean, watch the Redbull Studios video from 2013, and compare it to videos of when they would play small stages in 2004. It's night and day. I love this band, but it just doesn't seem like it's there lately. I blame the arenas. It happens to a lot of great bands once they reach that level. It becomes safe and stale, while the bands who continue to play the smaller, more personal venues, go out and tear it up night after night.
I feel like the best thing I've seen from them was Live in the LBC... I've only seen videos of them playing shows as I've never gotten to see them live, but I feel like that was their best performance.

It's just me or Brian always get bored in this song and start doing funny things and screaming nosense? (uga! uga! uga!) He got so little to do, no cool rifts no solo, just some vocals and almost background guitar on eight minutes long! He's awesome! Best guitar player ever!

Ya they all use in ears. Any of their headlining shows all they ever have is all the mains, no side fills or nothing. Lol they could of at least given her a set of headphones to listen.

I've noticed it too. He's been miserable looking for years. Might be bored by playing 90% of the same fucking setlist every night... Honestly, how many times can you smile through "Bat Country" and "Critical Acclaim" after so many years. Just speculating hah he might actually be having fun... but it sure hasn't looked it for a while. The whole energy of the band has been wacky lately. Zacky's been a slump too. They mainly just stand around, or walk around aimlessly... It seems like Matt has to carry all of the energy of the show by himself.
He used to be. After Jimmys death around 2009-2012 he seemed really sad all the time but since 2013 hes seemed more playful and happy.
He's sad, probably because The Rev made the song? I mean, I would be upset if my friend made such a good song but is dead...
