Sara, I always love your videos. I heard you say “Mamaw.” That’s what I always called my mother’s mom. Thanks for helping me get through the first few years of the pandemic. You helped me keep my sanity. Your videos were a bright spot for me.

i love this idea! Making stuff from scratch is always better - and if you can make these ahead of time and freeze, I like it even better - so many ideas in my head - like adding eggs, onions, green peppers, etc. - I bet these would be great for camping - yum!
It’s so great to see your mother-in-law helping . I have been watching for some time I see her in the Background. It’s amazing ur family from your husband to your mother-in-law to you under the same roof . Your all beautiful people show yourselves in the video the real fans are here the rest don’t pay attention. And mom get her in more videos with you I thought it was so good !
Yum, i have never seen this done before. I bet it would be delicious with sausage. I wish i was your neighbor. I would love to hang out with you and Betty and have fun cooking..
Definitely trying this. What a good idea. Also I loveeee the idea of making a smaller one with sausage and cheese and having them for Christmas morning breakfast with some eggs!
I would make my dough out of raw cheese and eggs along with butter, but man it sounds so good with beef wrapped in it. Talk about yummy goodness Sara! Great job thank you! 🙏
Southern Sara! Much Yankee love friend. Happy cooking, bon appetit. I'm a cook for 25 years and I effing love your home cooking. Keep going baby Sincerely Dan South Dakota.
This looks so good!! Thank you for showing us how it’s done! ❤❤ also, helping with the volume situation…in your editing software or editing app there will be a way to edit your audio. You can increase the volume by up to 500% and that will help us hear you and MaMaw better. It’s those words of wisdom and little bits of knowledge from yourself and MaMaw that help so much. I think this will make it easier for us to hear you. Thank you for inviting us into your kitchen and showing us how to cook ❤
Yes the volume is always SUPER low and I have to raise my volume control all the way up to TRY and hear anything VERY faintly and then all of a sudden they will say something near the camera and the microphone picks up their voice at a regular tone and it BLOWS my ears out because my volume is up SO high from trying to hear their earlier conversation!!! It's BECOMING ridiculous to try and follow along with their recipes because, of the volume issues!!! It's so bad!!! 😳😢😡
Sara, I really enjoy your cooking videos but it is really hard to hear. In your editing software or app, there is a way to increase your audio in the video, sometimes up to 500%. This may help us hear you better ❤
“ I never measure my biscuits.” My granny never did either, but I always have to look at the recipes. When you don’t have to look at the recipes, now that’s country cooking.
I am curious... Have you ever made your dough with buttermilk?? I Hate buttermilk, but its so good with biscuits and dumplings. Only time I enjoy buttermilk product.
Sara, you mentioned using _Bisquick_ as an option… which bisquick recipe would you recommend preforming well on this kind of meal? Or, is a yeasted breading a better texture? Because bread expands and meat contracts as it cooks. I’m just wondering how this would work best. I have a very picky eater, but he might actually be into this! lol Thanks for sharing this recipe, and thank your Mamaw for us!
I think I might add some grated onion and garlic on top of the hamburger. Although I wouldn't add cheese, it would probably be good that way too. Maybe even put some BBQ sauce on top of the hamburger meat before rolling up.
Myself l would of used mixer too make dough maybe a little easier? Why not season ground beef in bowl then put on dough??I would of added chopped onion and shredded cheese blend looks good!!
Hey Sara!!! And Hey Betty!!!! I always love to see what you 2 ladies are cooking up!! Sara, I know exactly what you mean!!! After they’re gone… that’s it as far as asking about things. Or just hearing their voice. Would this work with sausage??? And make a white gravy to go with it? Also will this work with cooked or partially cooked meat? Thanks Sara!!! And Betty!!!! 🌺🌺🌺

Pkg of onion soup mix in with the ground beef, you could even spread a layer of leftover mashed potatoes on top of the beef
