I've had this tool since it came out. The thing PULLS you forward if it's never been cut by the tool before. I actually live on a corner lot and deal with the same kind of situation with walks and curbs. I have to say you're walking a LOT slower than I do and still get super clean edges. I've sold several of these edgers to neighbors who have admired the job it does. I WILL say that the "freehand" style of design does lend to a faster wearing down of the blade, but a "universal blade" sold at Lowes fits it perfectly. $15 for two blades. I never had the steady hand to use a string trimmer for sharp edges. This thing is AWESOME. Good vid.
I have the Atlas 80V self propelled push mower. Bought it 2 years ago after moving into our house. Our lot is .33 acres. The push mower works great. I use the self propel on the upslope of the yard and then release on the down slope. Using two 80V batteries seems to do the trick. One battery will cover front yard and still have enough energy to complete back yard with second battery. I will say, if your grass is pretty tall, as in 3 inches or so, the batteries will drain faster. But once mowing is established, they work great.
Just picked this up today. Harbor Freight is running sale this weekend. If you buy the $139.00 battery you can get the edger for free! Hell of a deal imo.
@WilliamsonRidge Used it for the first time yesterday. Worked pretty good. I would say it's slightly underpowered but overall, I'm happy with the purchase and how it works. Just afraid that $140 battery will die out and need to be replaced.
I’ve been waiting for them to make an edger! 😊
I seen they were coming out with a little tiller also

Very good Review
Thanks!
The mower kills the batteries. I plan on buying a small gas push mower so I can save the batteries for my pole tools
I was wondering how the mower performed the trimmer and edger does great and has good battery life

Yeah they ran that sale right after I purchased the edger and they let me return/exchange for the battery deal

I’ve had a couple of their batteries for a couple years now and they still seem to perform as good as they did new
