I bake cakes and the first thing I do is specifically ask for what the client wants, tier by tier. My word of advice to anyone ordering a custom cake is to be specific about what you want. Do not leave it to the cake artist because each artist’s interpretation is different and based on their own level of ability. I also send the client a photo a day before so I can make any changes needed. When ordering a cake, make sure to ask for a photo to avoid receiving something you may not like. In my professional opinion, I feel the cake was beautiful with clean lines and smooth buttercream work. However, what you did to make it yours was stunning!!! You looked gorgeous, and your shower was breathtaking ❤ Keep your chin up love, I can see how the mishaps impacted you!! If you have a PO Box, I’d love to send you a gift:)

Praise God for safety, we definitely can’t control our family members behavior, people need to grow up handle disputes in a positive way. It was your baby shower, they should respect that. Most importantly is your upcoming labor and delivery. Unfortunately This is probably why most families don’t get together.

Your story is so similar to mine went to a family member’s baby shower last weekend and a family issue occurred at the end as well lots of drama caused by two cousins, as well as everything that could go wrong did as well before the shower wow! And if you have apologize for the conduct of others, do not apologize again. The crap that they did is on them and not you.
