Good review. Actually learned some things about the cabin/infotainment system and the tailgate and I own one of these Tellurides! I’m a huge fan. One minor thing that wasn’t mentioned which is a nice convenience is a sweet slot storage on either sidewall for the 3rd row seatbelts to keep them out of the way or making noise when they’re down for extra space.

@@gggreene73 I ordered mine in August and it arrived in November. That said, the vehicle is everything the hype says it is. Most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in for a vehicle. (I’m 6’4”) That includes BMW and Mercedes. The 291HP engine is well geared with an 8 speed transmission so that the Telluride is both quick and relatively efficient. When in front wheel drive mode (as opposed to the all wheel drive mode) I get just over 24 MPG on the freeway. I love my Telluride. It is impressive in every way. No complaints, only compliments save for one minor detail. The CarPlay is not wireless. Unsure why that wasn’t an option as KIA has wireless CarPlay on the Sorento. I did a lot of research across the spectrum of SUVs and off road vehicles and the Telluride was the best value that included all of my must haves. (My search included Land Rover Defender, Toyota 4Runner, Highlander, Land Cruiser and Sequoia, Ford Explorer, and Bronco, Jeep Rubicon and Grand Cherokee, Nissan Pathfinder and Armada as well as the Hyundai Palisade and Honda Pilot and Passport. Telluride SX Nightfall was the one for me.

How long are you expecting Telluride orders to take if ordered today? I have a deposit down at another dealership for an order I put in mid-December, and while they originally estimated 6 months wait, it seems like it’s going to be much longer-the last two months they’ve only had 12 Tellurides *total* get confirmed by Kia, and there are still 44 ahead of me.
ordered early October this exterior color with black interior (because for some dumb reason the gray interior isn't available with the Wolf Gray exterior) still waiting, supposedly April-June
@@briannafuentes6296 I picked mine up on 6/15/22 actually, thing is amazing, already put the Tuxmats in it, the Canada Cargo mat, Black Horse Running boards, wheel locks and black camo emblem blackout decals and setup a ceramic coat appt and tint for 1st week of August. I was just in a BMW X5 which has very similar ambient lighting. When I opened the passenger door to get out, the car was still running and I noticed the ambient lighting in the door that was opened automatically turned red (it was green before) and started flashing. Kinda like a warning to passing vehicles so they don’t hit you or your door when you’re getting out of the car. When I closed the door it automatically stopped flashing and turned back to green to match the other ambient lighting in the cabin. Pretty cool. Does the Telluride do this too by any chance?
Get ready to get fucked at a Kia Dealer near you when they make you pay $10k over MSRP for this. They fucked us. We had to buy a new car because our Suburban got totaled and we need a new 3rd row vehicle.
@@Robcadams1974 definitely going to have to go outside the state to get MSRP. Check with Matt or look online at other dealers offering MSRP. I ordered in Tennessee only because I didn’t see this video first, I would have given him my business. Have a 4-6 month wait barring any delays.

@@ahua there are adapters available to make Apple CarPlay wireless. Agree it should already be wireless though.
Been trying to buy one in Florida, virtually impossible without a 10-15k addendum 😔. Just can’t stomach that on a depreciating asset.

You also can’t get Butterscotch in Nappa leather so the stitching is a key indicator to tell.

Think thats a German vehicle feature. My Audi did the same thing.

How is the comfort on the drivers seat? Just test driving one for about 15 minutes doesn’t really speak to it like a 3-4 hour trip.
I just drove mine 10 hours two ways from MO to CO. Much more comfortable than my Stinger and the self driving features made it a breeze.
This telluride does not have the Sx logo on in the back. I bought one and I have the same issue
It’s not so much an issue as it’s KIA making a statement by only having the new emblem as a badging on it. It’s like that on all of the 2022’s
