- Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach: the Ruin DLC, completely changes the FNAF pizzaplex as we know it.. But what secrets can we find out of bounds, and off camera? Why don't we break chapter 1 completely and find out? In this video we're covering all of Chapter 1: From the opening with Cassie entering the building, to Monty Golf, and all the way through to the start of Daycare. I hope you enjoy this behind the scenes look of FNAF Ruin Chapter 1!

Something I never noticed my first time seeing the vents, but why the heck are the vents designed to be passageways? You can see the warning sign saying "watch your head", and even outlets inside the vents. These aren't just vents you are crawling through, they are specifically designed by the Pizzaplex to allow human travel.
More likely, they're designed to be traversed by Staffbots, smaller animatronics, and HVAC technicians. Keeps them out of the way of customers?

I also think it's what @SherlocksLeftNipple (lmfao best name) said. Think of the tunnels under disney for staff to travel around, to "keep the magic alive" or whatever it is.
It's pretty on par with Fazbear entertainment that the maintenance crew has to crawl through dangerous areas to do their job.
Heck, in Sister Location us the player literally have to crawl through vents to get to each station.
Why does that work
Ruin really suprised me! Less easy to find glitches, it’s actually scary, has a better gameplay loop and lore that’s connected to the rest of the series.

Considering the Blob isn't looking at the player when it's first seen... the lore implication is that it knew about the Mimic in the pit
The 'depressed STAFF bot' alongside one of Chica's stored spots is the same one that drops the second flashlight, stored separately due to being animated, which is pretty neat. This certainly heavily featured everyone's favorite red-eyed rabid chihuahua of an animatronic, which is nice to see.

Fun fact: when putting on a mask in an animatronics area (like the bakery), you’ll hear voice lines that the animatronics say in the base game, including some unused ones! The most notable ones are in chicas, saying “I found you!” And “ Tag! _youre it_ “
What I like about his "what Fnaf hides off of camera" content is the way he talks about everything, he explains every detail perfectly and sometimes in a humorous way.
19:48 was especially humorous for me 😂
The teleporting by a set distance must be what happened to MatPat. He put on the mask and warped to a totally different place than he was. So different, he thought he somehow skipped forward in the game.
That’s cuz he did, he skipped Roxy Raceway, which had some important lore.

@@tRiXMaddyI'm guessing with Blob is William Afton is still alive while this Mimic endo is on the loose. Aside from the glitch rabbit maybe William is still alive somehow. Usually people are saying Princess Quest is the true ending but with what Glamrock Freddy did say "I think there's more than just Vanny." Which goes to Burntrap/Afton. Seeing Blob still being active though I wonder if we will get more to the game

From what I’ve seen so far from Markiplier’s and MatPat’s respective playthroughs so far of Ruin, it’s astonishing at all the times Cassie has dodged dying via mini-cutscenes
In my point of view RUIN is the proof Steel Wool learned from their errors during Security Breach. The game is really well optimized as my PC only had one time where lag spikes started. It also must be because the game is not in an open map and it’s more lineal, but I think that is already an improvement.
Maybe the static on our wrist is the death static and they just open the watch when you die?
one thing i dont see people mention is that mask bot is just map bot without his hat, looking at the top of his head you can see the plastic shell was ripped to make the ears, same with the little music men
What else would it be? Fazbear entertainment already had programming for map-bot, so they reused it to give class 5 technicians their masks once they get to work.
Either that or Mappy has a brother 😂
Fun fact: In some free camera clips out of bounds you can see cassies arms infront of other objects that the player is behind. this is because the arms are a layer above everything else to prevent them from clipping in game. this is a technique used in a lot of first person games.
I really wanted to see some overview areas and compare it to the base game. It'll be interesting to see the changes
Obviously areas like the main stage isn't gonna be fully loaded or in the game at all but i just wanna see the areas that we have and compare the parallels

It appears that whoever 3D modelled Cassie here was given a different image to work with as later in the game Cassie is shown in posters (wearing the exact same outfit and with Roxy and Gregory) as a girl with darker skin, eyes and curly hair.
The posters seem to represent her canon appearance.
I think they decided to change her design last minute and didn't bother to change the model cause you usually don't see anything of it besides the hands anyway
Ruin is the only game where the DAYLIGHT can be seen

honestly they polished this game up a lot compared to sb. looks like they’ve learned their lesson (somewhat!)
also possible that there was little to no preasure forcing them to complete RUIN by a certain time unlike sb.

Fun fact: There’s a FNAF World enemy named Tangle that is literally just a Mangle recolor.

I don't know why people think at Horrorscope is a different person because they're not. Horrorscope is Swankybox and this is his horror game channel and they are the same person. you can tell by how they're voices sound exactly the same on both channels.

That is the best way to describe the VANNI mask mechanic I have ever heard.
Honestly ruined showed the base games only issue was it being open world.. they bit more they could chew but I commend them for trying either way
Now imagine the next game being like ruined but the length of the base game a lot more details you can focus on and refinement would be much easier the camera and the wet floor bots were cool ways to introduce gameplay loops all they gotta do is continue that philosophy

i like it that u first summerize the whole game/dlc so everyones on da same page good👍
this isn't out of bounds or anything, but i noticed that while in the cutscene where cassie thinks to go to the elevators in chapter 1, you can move freely. the camera stays locked in the cutscene, but when the cutscene ends you'll end up at wherever you walked. i'm not sure if there are any other cutscenes where you can do this, but i imagine this would be helpful in speedruns.

If i remember correctly all of the montygolf maps are the finished versions of the cut content from the main game. Same with the secret chica feed frenzy game.
