The Flowmasters are 5 decibels quieter but has a better tone. When he breaks in the packing material in a few hundred miles it will be almost as loud as the muffler deletes but still have a better tone.
Flow FX for the win!
Yes the fx ones sound awesome
I agree, the FX tone is perfect
Yes they do sound bad ass. I also like the way dynomax mini racing bullets sound. I have some on my 99 Mercury
I believe the Flowmaster Flow FX is not only cheaper but more throatier sounding than SLP Loudmouth 2, Borla Stinger, and Magnaflow Magnapack.
Agreed the FX sounds much better
I got a 07 grand Marquis about 6months ago and so far got new shoes for it and tinted it, next step is a exhaust system. And now I found the one. Flowmaster Flow Fx 💯🙏🏼
All panther owners want to put a coyote in them, 2% actually do lol
wootzor09 *0.2%
I just want a 4.6l 4v in mine. But, I’m a lazy cheapskate.
@@kentmerritt6804 See the pro strat is swapping a full cobra terminator drivetrain in, trans and all
Coyote is overrated. I'll stick with the 4.6L. Coyotes get slapped around all day by LS and LT engines.
Im working on putting the 7.3 Godzilla in mine. Just waiting on the engine control kit to be released this summer.
Love how he says “beautiful car” as he pans by 4 scrapes and a dent
Plus the trunk say mercury but gotta Ford steering wheel lmao
@@dylanwheeler7791 no it had a Mercury steering wheel
Why you hating bum what do you drive?
@@kylewillis439 glad you commented 7 months later but I currently drive a lifted 02 Tacoma. It’s on 35’s and is 27x cleaner than this hunk of shit.
Haha you wish lifted too so we know youre packin a 2in pecker stop lying lmao and a 2002 yeesh
Both sound so good! Love the 2v engines
Man that grand marquis’s with the flow master mufflers sounds amazing!!! Makes me want that on my crown Vic
Grand Mar-keese
ended up going with this setup minus the 4 inch tips and it sounds great. appreciate the video, only video with this set up i saw.
You just did the 71415 FX mufflers to the factory outs? That's what I want to try. Did the sound change over time at all?
@@quitsevensix was very low and deep for the first few months and as time passed they got much louder but not raspier if that makes sense.
@@westchesterautos5820 Okay yes so the tone stayed low but didnt start rasping like straight pipe yeah?
I perfer Flowmasters, specifically 40 series. Straight pipes sound mean, but the tone is so raspy and rough, plus it's overly loud. Flowmasters still sound loud, but a bit smoother, but has excellent tone. My '89 LX has that kind of Flowmasters.
They need this standard on all cop cars so you could hear them

this is hard to decide which one the black one sound really nice and little louder without that rasping popping sound and the tan one sound nice deep tone so i like them both
I've always wanted to work in a "cop shop" putting some nitrous / turbos on them to make them true interceptors !👍👍😎😎
Actually besides a few things to improve safety and cooling parts to prevent long idle hours from damaging the engine Crown Vic Police Interceptors are actually pretty much the same as normal Crown Vics with the exception that they beefed up to be a little faster. 129mph is their top speed. I think the civilian car is like 120mph. Personally I'd rather have the civilian version because they haven't been driven as hard and usually haven't got as many idle hours. I bought my 2011 P7B Police Interceptor with 107k miles a month ago and was too ignorant to check the idle hours which is at 6,400. It's still a good car but I honestly overpaid at $5,000. Hopefully it will last me 200k+ miles before any serious issues but buying used cop cars is a serious gamble. The biggest reason is the wiring getting damaged during disassembly of the police gear/lights. Plus the paint sucks. If you buy one don't overpay like I did and make sure it has less than 2,500 idle hours. The mileage doesn't matter as long as it's under 125k miles. Also don't buy from shady dealers who won't give any warranty. These guys buy them from Gov auctions for dirt cheap, fix whatever is wrong with them and quadruple their investment usually. They can be good cars but realize you can buy one from an auction too and you can fix whatever is wrong with the thing as long as you have it towed to your house. Good luck.
@@blessedjuggernaut They are good cars overall, probably why the police and taxi fleets used them for years, the taxi versions probably weren't driven too hard but more than likely have a ton of idle hours, it really boils down to whether or not the fluids were changed at the proper intervals but like you said it is a gamble especially not knowing the full history of it so maybe buying a civilian one from an individual who knows the history would be a good bet.
@@AreaThirteenThirteen I've heard of people with Crown Vics with 10k-15k idle hours and the cars still run fine. It's just scary when you see the numbers compared to like 300 idle hours. Taxis are good point too. That with the notion of them being cop cars goes to show Crown Vics where definitely built for city mileage like stopping, starting, idling etc. The reason I bought mine was because I looked at several Toyotas and Hondas under advice from RUclipsr Scotty Kilmer and my own prejudices and most of them had serious engine problems like shaking motors or severe engine leaks. Probably because of neglectful owners like most Toyota Honda owners who think they're bullet proof and need no basic maintenance. My 2011 P7B doesn't leak/burn any fluid period. The motor and transmission are smooth. It was serviced every 3000 miles. It's like new everywhere. I got lucky but I paid for it. I wouldn't recommend anyone else taking the same gamble without having extensive knowledge of these cars and their actual value.
Umm they don't have nitro or turbos on them tbh it's stock lol
@@tegomartinez5151 🤔🤔...that's why I said I would like to add it on there...call me a dumb a$$ but I have been called much worse 😂😂
I have a friend who is a dentist his dad had a Marauder and he showed me inside the trunk and there is a nitrous bottle hooked up lol he is in his 70 s and asks like he is still 18 , I told him I still out run him with my 01 ram 5.2 just to get him going lol
BBK tuneable mufflers, I had them on my 00 GT all it takes is a wrench and couple minutes to adjust them or open them up all the way and you get straight thru sound and prefomence and can easily go back to closed and still sounds good. Highly recommend purchasing a set.
The Merc or the Vic? Tough choice, both stunning!! I like your channel gents!!!🇮🇪
Same car, different seat padding, not a tough choice at all.
@@BlueOvals24 The rear end is different. That Merc sounded like it had a 2.73, and the Vic sound like it had a 3.55. Also, that Merc probably has ride-levelling rear air suspension, whereas the CVPI uses coil springs.
@@pronewbofficial Like I said, easy choice, the Vic.
@@BlueOvals24Also on the Police interceptors they have aluminum driveshafts, the suspension is stiffer, bigger amp alternator and they shift different that's why they have the nickname four door mustang.
These flow fx's have yet to dissapoint me. I am thinking of running 4 of these (2 mid 2 rear) on a 5.5l v8 benz
I went straight pipes have got a lot of comments on how good it sounds.
The flowmaster FX sounds awesome I think I'm going to put those on my Interceptor
Me too brother. I have a '05 Interceptor.
@@gregorygolden1296milage?
???
That sound, glorious!
The Flow FX sounds awesome
Wait till you hear the super 40s cat delete
I’ve got 2011 crown Vic can’t wait to get her all done up
How much does a muffler delete cost and how much more is a straight pipe?
Both sound good just depends on your preference. It gotta be one or the other, for a true panther has to growl🐱
You guys ever run cherry bomb m80s on anything ive been trying to find exhaust clips of em, especially on a 4.6 or coyote 5.0
King3kevo has a video of putting them on a vic
I hear pypes m80 sound great
That’s some hillbilly shit no one ruining a 5.0 like they idiot
I just bought a 2011 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. I'm thinking about straight piping it or doing the Flowmaster. Will straight piping it cause it through codes? Or is there a way around that. I'm going to keep the engine original as possible. Maybe a cold air intake if it's done properly and doesn't through codes either.
The stock cold air intake is optimal all ready. Leave on all four catalytic converters or it will keep triggering the the check engine lights.
Just take out the rear cats.it won't throw any codes and get yourself an pypes m80, flowmaster super44
@@warrenpierce5542 there arent any sensors after the rear cats so deleting them wont give a cel.
aftermarket Cold air intake on vic’s don’t really do anything it’s just a waste of money
Just drop in a K&N air filter element they're like 50 bucks at auto zone or advance. No need to waste money putting an entire air intake system on.
The p71 has the same motor, it's a misconception that it has a "cop motor" the p71 has a slightly bigger Intake, dual exhaust, and slightly different tune. But god it frustrates me when people say "cop chip" or "cop motor"
I know it's the same damn engine and they always say cop chip
Post dodge Dakota 3.9 v6 true dual from the headers back straight piped
Too small for straight pipes.
That would sound disgusting.
I like to pronounce the s in Marquis too
How much would it cost me to go from stock to flowmasters on my p7B having a shop do the work?
Super 44s sound great on 4.6 2vs
do it push doe 👀🚗💨

They matter as long as they can keep their spark plugs
ok so what do i need to buy for the 2nd option>?
it sounds like a beater with the delete lol but i appreciate the video was about to delete mine... ordering flow masters now.
what kind of wheels do you have on the Tan one????? Are those mustang wheels?
What size is the exhaust pipe in front of and betwee the cats? I know its 2in after the cats but what about in front of them. Is that 2 or 2¼?
link for the tips on the marquis??
Currently looking at an 04 police interceptor and I'm really wanting to do headers and boomtubes if I do get it.
Straight pipe sounds better.
I think I would add x pipe and remove h pipe
Nah goootta go with the straightpipe
Fx sound cleaner
I LIKE THE STRAIGHT.
Do u ever do any thunderbirds
“That police interceptor engine sounds different!” It’s literally the same motor as an LX Crown Vic you ding dong.
Flowmaster FX for me, better tone
which exact 4 inch SS tips are they? what brand?
where do you sell the tips
Vic vs marquee I think Vic got more growl
What kind of rims do you have on the Grand Marquis . Are those FR500 ? What size please? Any rubbing issues, did you use spacers? Thanks
Clearly they didn't bother to reply. So, Im running the 2011 mustang gt premium/handling package rims 19"x 8.5" 5 spokes, on my 03 cvpi. They look great! Really change the whole look of the car. And I've had no issues at all with clearance. Straight bolt on deal. I do know that the premium 18" mustang rims have some clearance issues on the vic's. But they are the only ones ive really heard of, that have issues. (They require a wheel spacer to avoid caliper contact)
.
@@barthk3640 Thanks very much!
Can you put Flowmaster on a crown vic
Beautiful at 4:57 ❤️❤️❤️😎😎💪💪😎👍👍❤️❤️❤️
3 inch tips? Not 4 inch?
What size exhaust adapters are those
Wondering about contact information, getting a 2020 2500 tradesman 6.4 L . Looking to delete my muffler, i have a 16 big horn with a Ypipe. Should do the same or the TRUE DUALS!.
Y-pipe will be deeper sound, true duals have a higher pitch. All personal preference. I almost went with true duals on my Ram 1500 5.7 hemi but it would have cost me close to $1000. I ended up just doing a muffler delete for $250 and got a nice deep, loud tone out of it! At the end of the day though it’s all what you want!
Grandmas car getting loud
Grandma car? That Ford is built tough with a V8!
Yeah but grammas love those big cars.
What year is the p71?
Why does he get right down by one pipe to get the sound of a dual exhaust?
Grand Marquis 💯%
'Cuz he be stoopid.
Bro wtf are those welds
Flowmaster sounds better IMO.
Black one sounds better 👌🏽
Did the real things all cats delete. Thats not a real cool straight pipe only muffler delete
🔥🔥🔥💯👌👍
hail yeet
There is absolutely nothing different mechanically when it comes to the engine, between a regular crown Vic and a P71 (police interceptor).
except for heads and bigger radiator
How does a car have a factory H pipe, but true dual at the same time? 😂 the world on the Mercury was far from clean, it was hacked together
Definitely not true dual if it has a cross over. Depending on the trim level, they can come with a factory h pipe or just single exit
Wow, you don't know about exhausts dude.
@@THEEVERYTHINGTHINGCHANNEL That "true dual" nonsense is total bul*shi*. The h-pipe adds torque, and does not detract from total engine power in any way.
Un-bolt the standard Y-Pipe, and the H-Pipe bolts right up. Easy-Peasy.
Guy has yet to understand what true dual means. I’ve seen numerous videos from this page and you still don’t get the concept of true dual. And you run an exhaust shop
